@1Hawkeyes@AtomicNut@Gilgex How about this: Villains are at war over the city, with the few heros there are trying desperately to keep loss of innocent life and liberty as low as possible, while trying in vain to push evil out of city, Neutrals and free agents hired by all side (or just hop into battles when they feel like it, depending on the person) and fight as well. Kinda like when the Mafia and Mobs ran cities like NY and LA, and the police tried in vain to take them out, and keep loss of life to a minimum.
Something like this could be interesting...
Sounds like the type of setting my character would fit into.
So uh... I got nothing else to really do here but if you guys need a plot device for your RP just ask, I can have Dr. Chaos make it and get the other characters involved too. XD
I still don't like it. Just seems silly to have so many gangs, and organizations running around. Edit: but so long as it doesn't get ridiculous I'm fine with it. Edit 2: I mean no more secret organizations besides two, and we have to figure out what the aim is. Along with what exactly their schtick is, what makes them special, or their signature. They can't just be copy past cookie cutter. That would be incredibly boring. Hydra, and AIM from Marvel both have the same goal of taking over the world. But, the means are different. Only occasionally do they converge on the same prizes to further their goals. Such as Ouroboros: Their aim is to takeover the world through their mastery of fusing of magic, and science.
@Gilgex Well Diane's gang is mainly just to keep control of Treaft and get money through black market trading. She isn't interested in the world, so that's different from Ouroboros.
@greywolf375 I like that idea. It'll give the heroes a run for their money. And if the heroes get whiped out eventually then this can be a villain thread. XD
At this point the thread is too early to accurately predict how jumbled up it could be. Now if there's going to be another villain organization then we'll cut it. XD Treaft is a huge city, so it's highly possible for multiple gangs to exist and fight for it. It's basically gangs/organizations fighting for New York or L.A.
@rhema13... No, that would not be okay with me. Stick to one only it'd be waaaay to many to have three secret organizations running around. Even marvel doesn't have three secret organizations of notoriety, and their universe is massive. Maybe if the second one you made was completely dismantled like AtomicNut's.
Hero, Villain, Citizen?: Hero or Villain, depends on the day. (Chaotic Neutral)
Age: 23 (Human), 1,500 (Alien)
Gender: Female
Race (Human/Alien): Alien, Energy-Based, Takes the form of a human, near-perfect likeness. Certain details off, a trained observer could spot her with a little effort.
Powers(Up to five): Electrokinesis (Range: 500 meters): This means that she can manipulate and control electricity, in a device or outside it, or from her own body if she has some stored. This SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDES electricity within the body of another being.
Electrical Absorption (Range: Touch): Relatively self-explanatory. She can hold enough electricity to keep a 4-person household going for about a week, but usually stays at around 1/3-1/2 tank, so she doesn't zap anyone she touches. By the way, at 2/3 and above, she is essentially a live wire. This ability only includes absorption from living beings if willing consent is given. If she tries otherwise, her human half prevents it.
Electrical Mimicry (Time Limit: 5 Minutes) Extremely powerful, but leaves her completely drained, to the point where she is barely conscious after the ability ends and she reverts
Electrical Transportation (Must have Line of Sight, or electrically connected with a known location, such as a power station, an address, or able to see the place through a visual feed such as a live security camera): costs power if not riding wires. Can be used to ride lightning bolts, arcs, or anything else like that as well as wires and the like.
Immortality (Natural Causes only, can still be killed somehow, can be knocked out, hurt, etc)
Weapons: Fingerless gloves with metal studs at the knuckles, any metal objects she can find, body, electricity
Skills: Skilled in street fighting, brawling and improvised weapons, knows parkour. She is knowledgeable about physics, regularly using the knowledge in her day to day life
Weakness: Getting wet hampers her powers, in the worst cases completely sealing them (Say, when she is submerged). Also, if she is around nothing powered by electricity, she gets headaches, starting small, but getting progressively worse, up to the point of driving her insane if she is not sedated.
Personality: What comes across most quickly is that she is Mercurial, often bored, quick-tempered and quick to latch onto a new idea that sounds fun/entertaining/profitable/fuck-it-let’s-go-do-it. She can be friendly, but it’s rare, and not shown in the typical fashion. Its… tough love, more or less. She is also blunt and straightforward as hell. If you want something sugarcoated, she’s the wrong woman to ask. However, the human side of her is what is keeping her from being a complete villain. It has given her a conscience.
Occupation: Unemployed, could be considered a Mercenary. Living off of a large Trust that had been put in her name by her now deceased Grandfather.
Origin: Tannda left her home planet out of boredom, and went searching for entertainment. She went to earth in search of fun, because she had heard that there was usually something going on on Earth. However, she ran into an asteroid on the way, and had to bail out in an escape pod, her ship exploding behind her and leaving her injured. She managed to set a course to Earth, but she then fell unconscious, the automated systems of the pod only just able to keep her energy intact (the race are pure-energy beings). Her pod crash-lands in the backyard of a nice, urban house, and the daughter of the house, curious about the ruckus, come out to investigate. She finds the pod and opens it, curious about what's inside. In it is a semi-conscious Tannda, who reaches out to grab Elysia, and in doing so attempts to possess her and take over her body. She succeeds. Kind of. Instead of taking complete control and destroying the other mind, like she intended to, the two minds melded, combining the two people, and rooting Tannda solidly into the physical plane. The mental effects of this are that the bored lunatic now has a safety switch, and the human is, well, no longer human, and can now realize her dream of being a hero!... Or could, if the alien portion weren’t essentially a villain. All in all, their differences worked themselves out… After the two minds revolted from each other (which is strange because they are also essentially one mind with two personalities now), causing their combined body to burst into an energy storm that shorted the area out, causing a local blackout. THat was near the beginning, when the meld was fresh, and not fully finished. At this point, the two egos clash less, and are relatively stable… mostly. It’s been about 6 months, and they are both getting bored of trying to hide and train at the same time.
Looks:
Disregard the thing she is holding
Other: She is EXTREMELY protective of the power grid. Fuck with it and she hears of it, and she’ll be on you faster than you can blink. Literally. Also, after a fight, she tends to be VERY hungry, even if she is still at close to a full charge of electricity.
@PatrickDrummer aww Gadget's an awful hero? Now my feelings hurt, XD lol. Me get that Jakie does things the punisher way while Gadget does things the Captain America way.
@Gilgex Jackie just doesn't like Gadget (probably because she works for the government) and when you put I like that yeah Jackie does do things like the punisher which I do like. I think the two sitting down and sharing views on crime would be interesting.
