History: Kyra's parents were both killed by brigands while she was still a baby. She was adopted by a shepard, who saved her life by slaying the bandit chieftain with a single stone from his sling. The shepard adopted Kyra as his own, teaching her what he knew about life and his skills. As a young adult, Kyra found religion as a means of education and learning more about the world outside the village. As a child she was inspired by tales of heroes and legends fighting a great evil to save the world. So much that one day, when a noble was visiting the village was abusing his servants, she stood up to him. However being just a small girl back then, her bravery only earned her a harsh beating by the noble. It was a painful reminder that for all the good in her heart, she needed strength to make her beliefs known. But that didn't dissuade her; instead it made Kyra more passionate and made her decide to join the clergy of Chauntea, so that she could learn how to use her strength and help others.
Kyra wasn't the quickest learner, but in her own way she was sharp. While she didn't often understand the texts and lore she had to study, she was able to get to the underlining principle in a way that wasn't quite wrong, only unorthodox. Even despite those shortcomings she never gave up on her craft and continued to study and improve. One day when she was still barely a woman, she had heard that large wild boars had invaded the countryside, terrorizing farmers and animals. Kyra was quick to come to their aid, first to heal the wounded, but then to fend off the boars. The Militia were still getting their troops together by the time Kyra took to fighting off the boars herself, using a combination of her magics and her skills as a huntress to drive off the beasts away from the village. Though the Militia eventually showed up to prevent the boars from simply overrunning other areas of the village, it was thanks to Kyra's rapid response that the damage they could have done was massively reduced.
A few yeasr afterwards, and Kyra had completed her training as a cleric of Chauntea. Her teacher, Falconmoon, taught her all that he knew, and that she was now ready to inherited the duties as head priest of the church. Kyra was nervous of course, as she was still young yet was taking such a monumental duty. Her village was a small one, but they were prosperous and rich with culture and history. She would do her best to make them proud. And she would do anything to make sure they are safe...
