Hm, I was looking for a reply from @Norschtalen before we move on, but I suppose not everything can be had. I'll be posting tomorrow if everything goes fine or the day after if things don't go quite as smoothly as I'd prefer.
I just need to point out that it would have been just as hard for Kyra to have checked whether the other cultists were dead as it was for Orchid (who failed), given their corpses were still on top of their horses. And the weapons, if they were no longer holding them, would have been scattered around the field. That search would have taken plenty of time. Other than that, post is looking good @Norschtalen. I'll get to providing my reply now, be it already late from my planned schedule.
If need be I will add something to bridge the gap, but given Brannor knows absolutely nothing about dragons and just what to do about him, there seems to be little in his character repertoire to do with it. Other than pose questions that seem strongly biased toward the party's company not knowing and or not having an answer.
I am not sure if I have anything to post here. Leosin has spoken to you, made his request, shared what he has found urgent and answered questions you have asked of him. If you want me to move you back to the cult camp, just give me the word. But I cannot assume you'd just do it right away. It's something that would need confirmation.
Unless anyone opposes, that would be my vote given we seem to be at yet another standstill in activity, @Hekazu. Granted my lone vote accounts for very little and I am unsure what anyone else would wish to do, if anything at all. All I can be certain of is that we need deal with the dragons and if Leosin can divulge nothing else, our task is fairly clear. I presume the module does that on purpose, but I am not one to know. Perhaps some of the party with other, more scholarly knowledge might have an idea?
As much as Brannor might be no friend to the city folk and an unwilling protector of them, following divine guidance above else, he will lend healing, @Hekazu. The only stipulation I could add is that if the party intends to move out right away, he will rest to regain his Lay on Hands and similar magical talent before daring off, unless some random event of course interrupts.
Really putting Kyra on the spot here. On one hand, she wants to help the villagers, but she doesn’t have any healing methods which won’t take time or valuable spell slots. She’ll have to refrain, at least explaining that she’ll need her energies for something she has to do tonight, but it weighs heavily on her mind.
Which is also why I rolled a total of 1 on my persuasion check... Kyra is just going to meekly apologize for the request and try to find some other alternative. Perhaps a large wolf dog that Parum could ride on at least.
If that is the end result you desire, consider it done @Norschtalen. For other options… I'd have to see how you approach the attempt at procuring. Large wolves might be more likely to try and gobble Parum up than let her ride them though.
Ah, I seem to have neglected to respond to Perum's question. You can poke me about those if it seems I'm missing things. Will see to getting a response up soon.
I should have something to build on coming tomorrow evening, perhaps earlier, but that I make no assurances on. Better to not promise something one cannot keep than admit there will be a likely delay of some fashion. Regardless, the gist will be that Brannor sees to these people and that they do not deserve an untimely death at the hands of the cult.
