" I'd rather you tell your thoughts to my face. With the airhead types I meet on the workfield, you'd be surprised how deeply invested I am on my pokerface lately."
"You rang?" NameMarcella Lee Chaney
NicknamesArchie, what friends commonly call her. A merging of her first and last name. The M was left out but it would sometimes slip and turn into Marchie, w/c she doesn't really mind at all.
Queen Cobra, a nickname by her co workers. A reference to her bluntness and savagery on the work field of investigative journalism.
Mars/Marcy her other lesser known/rarely used nickname.
Age24
GenderTrans-Female
Sexual OrientationBisexual (leaning towards women)
AppearanceArchie towers a good 5'11, with just a few more millimeters to 6 flat. Her physique is skinny to average, her shoulders evidently broader. Regular morning jogs and squats contributed to her hourglass body shape. She has strong features, a defined jawline and cheekbones that she got from the European side of the family. The other side, a mix of Asian and Hispanic descent, gave her a fierce set of dark-green almond shaped eyes. Her hair, reddish brown with strands of highlights, reaches a little bit longer than shoulder length which she would often tie into a pony or bun.
Archie likes to experiment with fashion. Growing up, she tried a variety of looks, from punk to chonga chic, manic pixie and hip hop. Eventually, she settled with the simple, professional look of elegance,a huge transformation from Sid Vicious to Sandie Shaw overnight. Her usual get up consists of a buttoned down shirt or blouse, or casual dresses. She would sometimes wear vests, sweaters or blazers over her shirts, paired with either skinny jeans, slacks or pencil skirts, and a pair of oxfords. She avoid heels as much as possible, but admits to an "odd feeling of empowerment." whenever she wears it, taking some pride while she hovers above her lesser men. She does light, natural make up, but would more than rely on creams and moisturizers rather than caking her face.
PersonalityAn angelic poet with a razor sharp tongue, is what best describe Archie if one would get to know her a night over drinks, with you being the one to pay the tab of course. She's a hands on, straight to the point type of person. She refuses to sugarcoat reality specially in her line of work and instead, would rather present the ugly, steaming pile of raw truth. She wont even care if feelings are hurt in the process even the ones she care for, as long as its for the greater good. Because of this, others would dismiss her attitude as pure insolence, abrasiveness, sometimes without even realizing it herself how far she's going. It is no surprise that plenty hate her guts, but with every ten people she once called "friends" had turned their backs, there's always a few who's worth more than everything she had lost.
Despite what people think of her, Archie is a truly nice person, that people in her professional setting would find it hard to believe. A loyal, compassionate and fun loving friend is one of the many unseen traits of the fiery fighter. Between work and school schedules, she'd make time to have fun, her favorites being in pubs or coffee shops. She's not too quick to judge, and prefers to hear both sides and factors before coming to a conclusion.
As strong and intense as she is, Archie secretly has insecurities. Sure, she can carry herself up no matter how many times she landed face flat, although she's good at not showing it, Archie easily breaks like sugar glass. It doesn't help that she has a drinking habit, w/c makes things ten times more worst when confronting her problems. And growing up in a family who didnt accept her contributed to a great deal with her depression. Still she kept going with a straight face, unfazed and collected, only but a facade to the fragile and broken person that she truly is.

"" HistoryArchie was born Samuel Lee Chaney to a politician and a law professor. Her childhood friends distinctly remembered her as that pale ginger-haired boy with a neck brace, who doesnt really say much at first meeting, but would overwhelm you with stories once given the chance, a boy brimming with brightness showing in his intelligent eyes. The Chaneys are a close knit family, with two children; an older daughter and a youngest son in a privilaged upper middle class catholic household. When he first came out, his parents was at the very most, surprised of the young boy's sudden revelation. It was hardly a surprise since they previously taken some hints with their son's fascination of everything feminine. In their own accord they would provide him with everything he needed to "re-adjust" as if providing all things boyish will "make him come to his senses" when he turns of age. Eventually Samuel concealed everything for his parents sake, a sacrifice that made him weary and problematic in the long run. It made him anxious, as if there was something amiss, an overbearing heartache he couldn't even comprehend. But he later came out to some of his close friends, who genuinly showed support and it helped him take little steps in getting a close grasp of his wish.
As a young teen, he led vivacious, troublesome lifestyle produced mostly by his mundane reality, constantly ditching class and running away from home, only to be dropped off by a police cruiser in the middle of the night. Once he stole his parents credit card to get himself fake ids and stay at a bar two nights straight with his friends, the next day he was caught drunk, robbing and vandalizing a house a couple of blocks who turned out was the pastor's. His parents, ashamed and extremely disappointed, took him to counseling w/c indeed helped the 16 year old. Regular sessions made him more comfortably open to his psychologist, who always gave a ready ear to listen. It made him feel accepted, the talks gave him strength to pursue his transitioning and once again he opened it up to his parents during a session with his doctor. Although it was hard to make them understand, his father stoic since the whole exchange and his mother, who had freaked out but sooner tries to understand, finally made an agreement for the sake of their son's well being.
Samuel, was now called Marcella during her transition and after her operation w/c her parents not so wholeheartedly payed for. Eversince, they were now completely unreachable, with only her sister, Holly, welcomed the young woman with opened arms. Since then her life took a positive turn, as she gained support from her newfound friends at the lgbt community and found the willingness to return her dedication to studying in the hope of winning back her parents . After graduating highschool with high honors, she gained a scholarship in college and took up journalism. College was everything she had hoped for, new friends, new sights, a myriad of choices in a vast sea of possibilities. Between her studies she applied a part time job at a local writing agency, a publishing house across the uni to make up for college loans. That's where she honorably earned the name "Queen Cobra" for her dangerously straightforward approach in interviews, despite the constant death threats from unknown senders.
Archie one day got news from home that her father had a heart attack and has to be immediately rushed to the hospital, almost a week before she even found out of the whole happening. Angry, she rushed to the hospital to meet her mother who held her back, the reason for the deception was her father had wished to never see her. This broke Archie's heart, her mother, who still calls her by her birth name, tried to explain shed be risking an episode in his fragile condition, w/c her mother confessed, after years of holding back, that they have never truly gotten over her transitioning. It wasn't really news to Archie, ever since she always knew they'd never accept her as a daughter. She nednt say a word as she walked off, holding back the tears, never even bothered an argument that will likely go nowhere. She had found solace in the bottom of a bottle more so recently than before, with the stress from work, school and home being a trigger to her growing addiction.
Favorite memoryWhen her Dad, together with her sister brought them to see Disney on ice as a young kid, and went for pizzas and ice cream after. It was probably the only memory she recalls of being this close to her father.
Least favorite memoryWhen her mother tried to stop her from visiting her sick father at the hospital, telling her he never wanted to see her.
