No he isn't someone's undead soul. As I said a couple times he was created from the shadows, he's a shadow spirit. Or wraith since he was born in ireland. Hence the aversion to iron, silver, and light. That's also why he wears masks, it's because he has no real face to call his own.

In this world, Stan Lee and other comic writers were actually superheroes themselves, but needed a way to spread misinformation and express themselves without getting caught. So as a result of their efforts, people won't believe superheroes exist because of how they exist in fiction and how outlandish it is. XD

I'm not saying my Nyt is a bat, but she's pretty good at judging distances based on echolocation due to her sound wave sensitivity :D

She can create illusions, yeah. Or more accurately stated, she can create virtual images at will by bending light and imagining what she wants to see. She carries the mirror and glasses with her to help her if she's having trouble focusing it. In theory, she could even concentrate light in one area and use it like an energy blast. It's also possible for her to block all light from interacting with her, essentially making her invisible. I really love the possibilities of light manipulation ^_^

But there's no way she's strong enough to do all that yet :P
