SCROLL ONE: Spring | BA SING SE, SHUHAAN HOUSE GARDENS

With every passing day the Upper Ring of Ba Sing Se began to fill with more and more warmth as the stranglehold of winter slowly released it's grasp on the renown city. This change in seasons was enough of a signal for the gardens of the Shuhaan Household to bloom with a rainbow of colours. Walking through these gardens were two older men, both dressed in the finest of clothing and enjoying the fresh aromas. One of these men stopped in his path, cutting off the words spoken by his friend, and leaned down to touch a weed that had made it's way into the pebble path they were walking along.

"Every new season is a time of change, a time of growth, a time to be reborn and yet there are some things that do not belong within this delicate cycle," he opened with words that clearly indicated there was a point he was eventually going to make, "This weed is a perfect example. Although it is a plant it should not exist in this beautiful garden. It has no place, it has no purpose, and if left alone it will eventually grow and spoil this garden's delicate beauty."

With a quiet tone of curiosity the other gentlemen opened his mouth to address the topic at hand, "My King, you are talking about the Avatar aren't you?"

"Sadly, Yes," King Shuhaan placed his hands around the weed and carefully plucked it from the earth, freeing the garden of it's future poison. "Avatar Kyoshi's health has been failing her ever since she returned home from the Fire Nation. Her journey there was to discuss the future of the next Avatar for when she eventually departs from this earth. It is a necessary process that each generation must take at some point in order to preserve their important legacy. Since her return however she has been feeling weak and has not been able to enter the Avatar state. The Waterbender healers are telling me that there is some kind of toxin circulating through her body and they are having difficulty removing it."

"What!? Are you informing me that the Fire Nation would perform such a vile act, an act that would risk the very balance?" Senator Reh was baffled at what he had just heard and the shocking conclusion that he arrived at. He knew the Avatar was previously on an important journey but the possible idea that a fellow nation would be willing to poison her was too much to comprehend. The King turned his head up towards his companion, giving him a moment to process the details.

With stern words the King addressed the Senator official, "The thought has crossed my mind, but we will speak of this matter no more. We do not want to start a war over an incident we do not fully understand. Until I address the leaders of the other nations personally to inform the gravity of the situation I will not raise unneeded concern."

Reh lips pursed together, resisting the urge to say anything more and obeying his highness' decision. With a sombre look he nodded, knowing that this was a secret entrusted to him alone. He knew that if the other nations were to find out the gravity of the sickness before the time was right, it could cause some serious tension between their already fragile relations.

"Onto lighter matters," the King was quick to change the topic, knowing that a distraction would be comforting for the disheartened man, "I would like you to deliver a message by Dugtrio to the three other nations. Inform them that the Equinox festival is coming up soon and, as per every decade, any citizen is welcome to attend. I believe it will be held at Nogii Island this year."

Senator Reh was familiar with Nogii Island, a location south of the Northern Air Temple and located on the edge of a large Lake. It was a land mass that was highly visited by many travellers due to it's centralised location, making it an optimal spot for this year's festivals. "And what if they ask about Avatar Kyoshi?"

"Tell them that she will be well enough to make an appearance."

NOGII ISLAND, A SMALL TOWN TAVERN

The harsh sounds of dishes landing on the hard floor and unspeakable curse words were heard as Suu suddenly tripped, dropping a customer's meal everywhere. She fell, hitting the dirt before quickly glancing back to see a small raise in the ground flatten itself off. The teenagers sitting in the alcove next to where she laid laughed at her unfortunate misfortune, egging each other on with compliments of their own achievements. With a burst of energy she placed her hands on the ground and pushed her body up in order to address the delinquents.

"What the hell was that for?" Suu blurted out in anger, pounding her hands on the edge of the table.

"Huh?" One of them replied, attempting to sound as if he had the intelligence of a Slowpoke, "Are you trying to start something?"

"Like hell I am! One of you—" Before she could even finish off her sentence a Scraggy grabbed the edge of the table, throwing it's body up from the bench space next to one of the teenagers and slammed it's feet onto the wooden surface. It stomped it's way over to meet up with Suu, casually hitching its "pants" up in the process and kicking the various dishes out of the way. It now stood mere inches away from Suu and waited, waited for Suu to accidentally make eye contact so it would have a reason to beat the living snot out of her.

As furious as Suu was she made every effort she could to not peer into the eyes of the Pokemon, instead turning away and walking over to the counter where the owner of the tavern was residing. He had no words for her, afraid to speak anything in case an all out brawl started in his pub. "I'm done!" she voiced to his general direction as she laid her hands on a dish, scooping up her tips. She had had enough and only needed a short time job to earn some coinage for a few meals.

Suu walked to the front entrance just as a plate was thrown in her general direction and shattered up against the door post. The act caught her off guard as she froze there for a moment wondering if she should look back to see who it was that threw it; a pointless exercise as she could hear the Scraggy huffing away, taunting her to look in their general direction. It's not worth the trouble, she thought to herself as she stepped outside into the sunlight and made a short, song like whistle.

The gentle flapping of wings was heard as two sets of talons landed on her shoulder, repeating the same cheerful song back to her. Nixxie hopped around all over Suu, clearly happy to see her owner return from the dreary job and wondering where they were off to next. That was something Suu hadn't completely thought of yet but she knew she wanted to stay for the festival that was coming up. The thought filled her head of how she would see some amazing displays of bending, the unique and rare Pokemon that people owned, and even a possible chance to have a glimpse at Avatar Kyoshi.

@NuttsnBolts - Hope Suu likes Mangos

It was a rather pleasant day, if she was being honest. The sun was warm, birds were singing in the distance. The bustle of the small island below her was actually pretty relaxing. Chim was curled up on her chest, snoring softly and sleeping away the day much like she'd like to. Indeed, in a few minutes she'd probably be asleep. She was already half asleep anyways, and give a few more minutes of relative calm she'd probably be asleep just as Chim was. At least, that was the plan, laying on the roof of some building. Maybe a bad plan in hindsight, but that roof was surprisingly comfortable.

And then there came the cacophony of plates falling onto the ground below. Well, she assumed them to be plates, at least, and someone just wasted some good food.

Monster. What'd the poor food ever do to you?

She lazily thought, a loud yawn escaping her lips. Well, speaking of food...she could go for something to snack on right now, actually. A small snack couldn't hurt, could it? She reached into the sack laying on the roof beside her, pulling out a Mango. Mango's from the fire nation were the best thing ever, in her opinion, and when she pulled it from the sack she didn't notice that it was her last one.

She bit into the juicy fruit, devouring it in her usual lazy manor. At least, until Chim woke up. He peered at her from behind the Mango, pouting a bit that he wasn't getting any. She rolled her eyes, and let him take a bite of the sweet fruit. He had other plans, though, and seemed to want to take the whole thing for himself. His hands wrapped around the fruit, tugging on it gently as he glared at her. She simply glared back, looking a bit annoyed. She may not like many things in life, but damn it.

No one took her food from her. Especially if said food was meat. No one touched her deliciously juicy meat.

There was a moment of brief silence between pokemon and human when the two locked eyes, simply staring down each other with a silent glare. Suddenly, Arrin pulled the fruit towards her, easily pulling Chim along with it. The fire monkey had other plans though, and used his smaller size to his advantage. He flipped, planting his feet on her forehead and using it as leverage to bounce out of her grasp.

The maneuver succeeded, and Arrin was briefly stunned by the impromptu kick, but she still had an iron grip on the Mango. The two continued to briefly struggle with the fruit, neither gaining an upper hand...right until it popped out of both of their grasp, rolled off the roof...and fell right into the head of the unsuspecting Suu below.

Arrin peered over the edge of the roof, Chim hanging onto her neck.

"Uh...oops."

"Wow...!" Miki gasped in amazement, he was watching the fluid serpentine movements of a Dratini flying back to it's partner who stumbled backwards with an audible "oof," nearly falling on his butt from the affectionate dragon which caused Miki to giggle at the sight. Miki has just finished bandaging up the Dratini's wound after it's Fire nation partner had gotten them into a fight. The Fire nation smiled at Miki as the Dratini wrapped itself around it's partner, "Thank you, friend, I was worried I would've had to wait before I could see somebody to patch my Tinia," The man said as he faced Miki and gave him a bow, as much as one can bow with a nearly six feet long dragon wrapped around you can allow. Miki placed a hand behind the nape of his neck and gave a sheepish grin at the man's gratitude. "It's no problem at all, but just be careful of fairy type pokemon next time you fight," Miki warned softly with the Dratini letting out an agreeing cry which caused the man to laugh, clearly embarrassed of this mishap, the man once again bowed repeated and profusely thanking Miki for the help he then waved Miki goodbye as the Dratini started to fly down the clear town street.

Miki sighed and started to put away the bandages and healing ointments off the empty stall into a small basket that hold other healing items, most of which were berries for Pokemon battles. Something stirred within the basket as Miki was putting things within it, A small squeak was let out as Miki put in the last item and right after a small brown and purple Skrelp flew out of the basket with a look of annoyance at being woken up from it impromptu nap, Miki gave the Skrelp a gentle smile and then a small grin, "My apology Kelp, I know the last few days have been busy for us and you deserve a nap after noticing that Dratini eariler, but I need you in the waking world to keep me some company, also you know I have a terrible sense of direction," Miki responded calmly and with a smile, it was true that he has a terrible sense of direction, even with a map or guide he always gets lost in cities outside the north pole, he gets lost in his own house, sometimes, so to put mildly, he's lost, he has gotten separated from the rest of the water bending healers that arrived with the avatar and now he has no idea on where to go, only that he needed to go to the tournament grounds when he still doesn't find them in the next few hours. His palms were getting sweaty and his eyes were glancing all around looking for landmarks or street signs or anything that would help him find where he should be going. Miki hand's tighten it's grip on the basket that he grabbed just moments ago he didn't even notice he grabbed the basket until the woven handle dug into his hands, Miki's breaths hasten and became shallow. Kelp gave a look of worry then he swam closer to Miki.

Kelp then floated gently around Miki's head and was squeaking out a melody that always calmed down Miki, which was working, Miki guess Kelp knows Miki better then Miki knows Miki. "Thank you Kelp, you always know what to say, but do you think that Taverns's patrons will know where I should go?" Miki mused as his breath soften and even out, his hands became less clammy and pained as his breathes calmed down. Miki was looking over the sign that belonged to the local tavern, Miki could hear some odd noises which sound like something being tossed around and hooting and hollering Miki obvlious didn't notice that he has found himself at a sketchy tavern in the sketchy part of town all he cared was to ask for directions and find his follow healers. Kelp tried to let out a warning squeak as if telling him not to enter the tavern for his own safety but Miki followed wholeheartedly without a care in the world.

As Miki entered the bar entry area where the first thing he sees is a large man laying on the ground not responding to any outside noise or movements, he was right passed out, Miki looked over the man then gave a look of naive amazement, "gosh, I didn't know there was napping areas in taverns,I'm learning so much," Miki buzzed with enthusiasm, while Miki was looking over the tavern Kelp was studying each and every patron and made sure who and who not mess with if Miki caused trouble with his naivety. But before Miki can enter the bar proper a few ruffleing of the roof and sounds of something rolled drawn his attention and he looked backwards out the entry to see that a mango has fallen ontop a young woman's head, Miki silently look over the woman and all he said was. "Wow, fashion outside the north pole sure is strange..."

Yaze Nikasai

Yaze strolled leisurely across the island of Nogii, enjoying the warm sun shining it’s beams of light down onto his back. Draped across one shoulder like a ragdoll, Marrow lazily munched at a biscuit, the small pokemon having only roused a few minutes ago. The pair had decided to rest here on the island for a few days, after the long trek here from across the Earth Kingdom. Yaze titled his head slightly to look at his companion. “What a day, eh Marrow?” The one in question looked at Yaze and blinked once slowly, before turning his attention back to the half eaten biscuit in his claws. Small crumbs of salty biscuity goodness tumbled out of the slakoth’s mouth and onto the ground, perhaps to be taken advantage of by a hungry rattata.

Yaze sighed. “Touche, touche.... Well, we’re gonna head to that tavern so I can get a bite to eat. I’m starving, and unlike you, I can’t stand biscuits and dried meat day in and day out. That sound alright?”

“Grrmmurr….” Marrow purred, assenting. The little pokemon didn’t much care what Yaze did, as long as they were both safe and fed.

火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火 火

So the two walked for a while before arriving at the aforementioned tavern. Just as the building came within sight, a brown haired woman that was clearly of Air Nomad descent stepped outside…. Only to be viciously assaulted by a seemingly belligerent fruit. Marrow and Yaze simultaneously turned to look at each other, the former making amused, guttural sounds while the latter did nothing but smile slightly. The pair approached the no doubt baffled woman. “Hey there, you’re cute, and I’m Yaze,” He began jovially. “So what’d you do to anger the local mango population? Are there more of them out there?” A quick look around revealed to Yaze a face peeking out from the roof. He grinned at the girl above him before turning his attention back to the air nomad.

Satomi

Satomi carefully took off her pack and plopped herself onto the ground with a sigh, relieved to finally be in the shade of a sizeable, yet comfortable tree. She crossed her legs underneath herself and leaned her head back, taking in the beauty of the branches above her head, covered in thick coniferous needles. She held out a hand to her pack and beckoned. "Come on out, Katori, you've been sitting in there much too long. You must be running hot."
The undersized Torchic rustled itself out of her pack, reluctant to bring himself much further than the height of his wings, his head tilted with caution. He looked around unsteadily, and proceeded to yank one foot out of the worn bag. His other foot caught on the cloth and became tangled, causing him to chirp with alarm.
She looked at him and smirked before unwinding his foot from the stray strings and plucking him out of the pack. "Go on and stretch your legs a bit, we've got a bit more walking to do before we get to the village, you know."
Travelling for extended periods of time could be exhausting, as Satomi had learned rather quickly. The roads were long, the boats were rocky, and the people were easily irritable. When a comfortable spot along the rough path presented itself, a spot such as the gentle curve of the roots between an especially soothing looking tree, one learns to take a bit of a break. Now was as good a time as ever, especially before reaching the hustle and bustle of the village nearby.
But the wandering life had it's perks too. People craved conversation and cordial visits, and there was plenty of talk to go around. Satomi was eager to strike up a conversation, with the right topic, and a festival was just the topic she was looking for. The Equinox was renowned, not only for the entertainment of every sort, but for the potential. There would be a few authorities, some political influences, perhaps a local celebrity or two, and Satomi was prepared to immerse herself anywhere she could get a foothold.
She grew lost in thought, gazing mindlessly at Katori as he hopped and pecked at the ground, circling around a small mound of bugs in their nest.

The short break passed her by, accompanied by a small crowd of rambunctious teenagers chattering excitedly about some inconsequential goings-on among friends. She huffed a quick breath of air and stood up, recollecting her pack and dusting off the back of her tunic. "It's about time we got to that village, don't you think, buddy?" Leaning over, Satomi scooped up her Torchic and set off down the path, admiring the sparse but obvious decorations along the trail to the village, signifying the coming of the festival.
The trek to the village summed up to be no trek at all. Before she knew it, she was already walking into the gate of the lively island town, and immersed in a wide street, dotted with groups of people. She strolled along, her eyes taking in all of the lovely new sights. Nogii island is pleasant enough! I wonder if there are any traine-
Her thought was cut off by the sight of a falling mango knocking an unsuspecting girl on top of her head. She frowned while approaching the girl, noting a young male poking fun at her misfortune. Tracing the fall up to it's source, she saw a wide eyed girl and her Chimchar lamenting their loss from the edge of the roof. Satomi pulled a flattened hand up to her brow and peered closer at the pair before hollering, "You could be a bit more careful with your mangoes!"

NOGII ISLAND, OUTSIDE THE TAVERN

Nixxie, being the fast creature that she was, took to the skies as Suu was walking from the tavern. It caught Suu off guard and her eyes locked onto the bird to see what startled the poor thing. Without even a word of warning a heavy pain landed on her head, placing her in a slight daze and causing her to buckle at the knees.

"YEOOOWWWW!!!!" the instinctive words came out of her mouth with little forethought as she dropped into a crouching position and lifted her palms up to cover the top of her head. In front of her, now in pain, self laid the lone, culprit item; a once delicious Mango that was splattered all over the ground.

Suu pulled her hands away from her head and examined them, noticing that some of the juice had spilled into her hair and headpiece. She let out a heavy sigh of annoyance realising that before she could do anything productive she now had to go spend some time cleaning herself up from this fruity mess. It was not how she wanted to spend the day! As she crouched there, quickly becoming a sight for spectators to look at, she heard a nearby male both introduce himself and query how she had angered the local mango population. For the time being she was happy that he said "cute" and nothing along the lines of "sweet", otherwise she would have probably slapped him for being so cheesy.

"I haven't done anything! Okay?!" she snapped back at him, not realising that his question was more out of joyful concern rather than a scolding remark. "Who throws away a mango any ways?" Suu tilted her head up to see Firebender peering over the edge of the tavern rooftop with a monkey like creature hanging off her neck. The sun blazed into her eyes, causing Suu to squint and miss out on the finer features the woman may have had.

"Haha! Well would you look at this?" To Suu the voice sounded familiar. She looked over at the entranceway to see who it was that was mocking her. With little curiosity towards the Waterbender that was innocently observing the incident outside, two men pushed their way out through the entrance, "Butterfingers here is already in another mess."

Next to them was the short Scraggy who was now finally given the opportunity to stare at Suu's eyes. It's fists clenched up, his heavy snorting intensified and it seemed to prep itself for a lunge tackle at the unfortunate Suu when it's owner bellowed out the angered Scraggy's name, demanding obedience. The Scraggy glared up at the human, challenging his master's authority, "I'm not having you start up a fight and get me disqualified from the Tournament. Got it?"

With an annoyed nod of approval the Pokemon instead kicked up a cloud of dust before turning to follow it's master away from the tavern, passing Satomi on their way into the town. The Earthbender looked at the girl as he passed, not saying a word but also judging her to see whether she would scold him or leave him be.

Well, that could have gone a lot better. For one, she lost her delicious mango. Secondly, it ended up on a girl below. Thirdly, she was now out of a mango. At first, she simply leaned back, crossing her legs and letting out a sigh of disappointment. Well, that happens sometimes. Some days, you find a delicious and ripe Mango growing from a tree, the next it gets smashed against the ground. She still had another at least! So she reached into her bag and...found nothing but disappointment.

Welp, time to go buy more then. She might as well apologize, too.

She stood, stretching her arms as a few onlookers started to spectate the mess. She didn't exactly hear what they said, though, but they sounded like pleasant people at least.

"You could be a bit more careful with your mangoes!"

Except that one. They sounded a bit upset. Maybe they were just disappointed they didn't get a juicy mango? Well, she'd love to share if she had any left to share, but that was her last one. Either way, she should probably get down. Grabbing her bag and throwing it over her shoulders, she stood at the edge of the roof and proceeded to climb off. There was probably a hundred safer ways to do it, but it was the most direct way Arrin saw so she didn't see a problem with it. It wasn't like she was going to break anything either.

...probably.

She was hanging off the edge of the building, gripping the edge of the roof when the guy with the scrafty walked out and proceeded to be the most unchill person she had ever met in her life. She was probably quite the sight as well, but if he noticed no one made a comment on it. At least, not yet.

"Oof~"

Her feet hit the ground with a fairly audible thud against the ground. Chim remained firmly on her shoulders for most of her endeavor, but as soon as she hit the ground he leaped onto the ground himself and made his way to the destroyed mango and soon began scooping up bits and eating them. Arrin simply stretched, observing the people around her for a moment before speaking.

"Wow, that guy needs to stop and smell the Fire Lily's. Maybe he's disappointed he didn't get a Mango dropped on him?" She chuckled, giving Suu a lazy, but friendly smile before turning to Satomi. "Sorry, that was my last one too."

Miki stared blankly as more people started to arrive one after another, he's starting to get overwhelm by all the people in such a small area, it was so unlike his home back in the North pole. In his calculating state Miki was pushed aside by a pair of rough looking men who started to mock the mango headed lady. Kelp started to make angry squeaking at the display of rudeness to Miki, which he quickly grabbed the little poisonous pokemon and held on to her tightly so she wouldn't cause trouble for the pair, when Kelp was thrashing in his arms, Miki Shushed her until the pair left where the Skrelp calmed down and seemingly let out a resigned squeak which caused Miki to let go of the Skrelp where it weakly hovered a few feet away Miki which he smiles at the Skrelp silently praising the skrelp for not poisoning him unlike she often does by accident.

Miki with a soft sigh focused his attention back to the rest of the group that have seem to have accumulated in the moments Miki was busy calming down Kelp. Miki with another sigh walked up closer to the group, which the Skrelp in tow as she effortly floated next to him, when he was a few feet away from the group he deicded he should help the mango headed girl clean up, as it appears the mango on her head wasn't a fashion statement like he first assumed.

"Salutations, would you people happen to know where the tournament is being held?" Miki asked the group politely, Miki then grabbed Kelp out of the air and placed her comfortably in his arms the Skrelp seems to understand that Miki needed the security blanket by holding onto her, as he is not used to talking to people outside of the water tribe, he wanted to make sure he was being polite and not making a fool out of the water tribe with his awkwardness. "I seem to have gotten separated from the rest of my healing squad, they said they would escort the Avatar there... So if you could tell me where I need to go I would be in your debt!"

Yaze Nikasai

Yaze smiled good naturedly at the mango girl. She seemed pretty wound up right now, so it was understandable that she would misinterpret his intentions. “Relax, I was just cracking a joke.” Before he could continue however, a trio of individuals giving off a fairly negative vibe emerged from the tavern. Two men and a scraggy, who Yaze was careful to not look at directly. The firebender stood by as they gave mango girl a hard time, before eventually moving on. “I think that was uncomfortable for both us. Do you have a name though? Or am I going to have to call you nameless-attractive-mango-girl?” Just a moment later, the girl from the roof dropped down to his right.

"Wow, that guy needs to stop and smell the Fire Lily's. Maybe he's disappointed he didn't get a Mango dropped on him?" Yaze opened his mouth to reply, before realizing that the statement wasn’t directed at him, before going ahead and speaking his piece anyways.

“I agree.” Well, he didn’t exactly say anything impressive, but then again, he never promised anything impressive either. Yaze figured that all was right with the world, with that knowledge safely nestled in his brain.

"Salutations, would you people happen to know where the tournament is being held?" Well! Another arrival, this one a waterbender. As the Water Tribesman asked for directions, Yaze spied another individual approaching. A female that appeared to be of Earth Kingdom descent. O, mysterious tavern, thine powers art great, why must thou summoneth so many to this place? Mine heart knoweth thine truth, but mine brain fathom it not. O, mysterious tavern, I implore thee, make thine intentions known! The firebender chuckled once, lightly.

Satomi

As the Earthbender passed by, Satomi shot a scathing look of annoyance, and nothing more. No need for a bigger scene to keep those jerks around..I'll let it go. She rolls her eyes and strides forward to join the group now surrounding the mango splattered girl. She was occupied with the fruity sight, noticing chunks of mango scattered upon the ground about her, until she saw the culprit jumping down from the roof carelessly. Well, she doesn't seem mean, just reckless.

"Sorry, that was my last one too."

A look of bewilderment spread slowly across Satomi's face, as she began, "Wait, I didn't wa-" Cutting herself off, she realized that it would be no use to argue. She sighed and looked back at the mango-tosser. "Never mind, just..watch your stuff. That probably hurt her."
She reached back and pet Katori reassuringly, noting the crowd gathering around. He was no doubt getting nervous, but groups of people like this are bound to have information on the festival events and locations. Sticking around couldn't hurt.

"Salutations, would you people happen to know where the tournament is being held?"

Turning her head toward him, she shrugs. "No clue. I'm here to kind of figure that out as well, among other things." Questions about some trainers or casual sparring spots sat on the tip of her tongue, but she held it and opted to listen more and gauge her surroundings.

NOGII ISLAND, OUTSIDE THE TAVERN

Suu carefully pulled off her feathered headpiece and let her long hair flow free by pulling out the band holding it back. She could feel one of the others stroking his hands across her head and carefully scoop out the chunks of fruit. While Miki's grooming process was taking place, Suu thought it'd be best to reply to Yaze's original enquiry about her name.

"I'm Suu, and today has not been the best of days," she finally replied, feeling less burdened by the pain that was passing through her head and more annoyed at how messy she looked. She listened carefully to what each of the others were saying, noting that eventually the topic seemed to change towards the Equinox Festival.

Suu knew a little bit about the festival from what some of the Tavern patrons were discussing. There seemed to be an assortment of attractions from various markets to performances, and even the highly awaited Tournament. The tournament was held within a large, specially built arena which was surrounded by the four camps of each of the four nations. It was a place that allowed for the simple accommodation of many travellers for the sole reason of participating in the games, while containing an assortment of open areas that allowed for training and practice before each match. Not every entrant was using these facilities however with a few heading out towards the forests for more privacy. Many of the public onlookers were other competitors and they spent their time jotting down notes and observing different techniques for their own personal research.

"I believe the Tournament is over towards the south of the island near the harbour port. I passed it when I first came to the island and noticed the Earthbenders were forming the stadium," Suu spoke out loud as she licked her fingers clean. You couldn't blame her for taking advantage of the mango knowing it couldn't go to complete waste. "Oh my lord! This stuff is everywhere!" she cried out, feeling a small chunk drip down her back.

As Suu arched her back and hastly attempted to reach around with her arms in order to grab the piece, an Waterbender boy came jogging up towards the small group. "Miki! Miki! There you are!" He was young and looked like he hadn't even reached puberty yet, but what he lacked in age and size he made up for in juvenile energy. "Papa sent me out to look for you when you never appeared at the Avatar's Temple. He told me you get lost easily, but it's so cool! there's statues off all different Pokemon! Some I never even heard of!"

"Salutations, would you people happen to know where the tournament is being held? I seem to have gotten separated from the rest of my healing squad, they said they would escort the Avatar there... So if you could tell me where I need to go I would be in your debt!"

Arrin gave Miki a friendly smile as he walked up and introduced himself, though she said nothing as Chim climbed his way up and took a rest on her shoulder. Arrin simply continued to give everyone a lax smile as they conversed, content not to say anything for the moment. In her opinion, they were getting along very well! Well, aside from Satomi who seemed to have some concerns about Suu being hurt from having a mango dropped on her.

This caused Arrin to gaze somewhat intently at Suu, trying to discern if she was, in fact, hurt in some manner. She seemed fine, but she admittedly wasn't the best when it came to dealing with people sometimes.

"I'm Suu, and today has not been the best of days,"

At hear that, Arrin immediately smiled and looked at Satomi, completely seeming to Ignore Suu's exasperation about it 'being everywhere'.

"See? She's fiiiine. Mangoes make everyones day better." She smiled at Satomi, seemingly completely uninterested in the tournament. She wasn't here for that, after all, though it did sound somewhat interesting. Maybe she could watch it with these guys? It'd certainly be cool. No way in hell was she participating though. She wasn't exactly good at that sorta stuff. "So what's this tournament anyways?"
