The last Bethesda-related game I bought was the original Skyrim. I played through the main story line once and then went to play The Witcher.

People like to hate on bethesda and bioware cause its edgy, but then they are the same motherfuckers who are on the forums deconstructing character types and plot lines on the forums.

How are you so well acquainted with games you don't play?

Because some people are of the mindset that you can't properly criticize something without experiencing it for yourself. Like it's easy enough to be part of the bandwagon and go "thing is bad and dumb" but it's another to play/watch/read/whatever the thing for yourself so you can form an opinion for yourself. That's how criticism works.

Also I don't hate on Bethesda because it's edgy. I hate on Bethesda because I believe their games to be crap.

Giving money to a company just so you can accurately explain why you hate a game series on the internet sounds pretty edgy to me, or at the very least sado-masochistic.

Here's a crazy thought, how about you spend money on things you actually want.

I haven't bought a Bethesda game since Oblivion and even then just because it came in a bundle. I don't buy games that I don't want to play. But I can still play them. And no, I'm not pirating them. I buy BioWare games because for as much as I dislike a lot of their writing and 'moral choices' they still provide entertainment. I don't buy Bethesda games. I can buy something and not enjoy it and buy something, like it, but still criticize it, which I do with a lot of things I enjoy.

I bought Uncharted 4 because I wanted it and that is not a very good game.

Yeah zero game reveals to get excited about, apart from maybe spiderman but meh.

People aren't excited at naked Norman Reedus so much as they are excited about whatever the fuck Hideo Kojima does but then again the hero worship of Kojima makes no sense because holy shit MGS hasn't been good since MGS 2.

But there are plenty of games to be excited about, it's just that they weren't shown at the press conference. Like I'm super excited for Nier Automata but that wasn't shown anywhere except the internet when they put out a new trailer.

But different people are excited about different things and that's fine.

Norman Reedus fanboys/fangirls are probably more cringe than the Hideo Kojima army. Being the most competent actor in a subpar, filler crammed, dragged out tv show is nothing to be especially proud of, but beacause fandom logic I guess?

I actually saw the internet E3 videos before I came to my opinion. Got the pleasure of being bored to death by Injustice 2's uninspired voice acting and Let It Die's shit graphics.

I liked Gears 4, Mafia 3 and Pokemon Sun and Moon, but I already knew everything I needed to know about those games to buy them before E3.

Stressing again that E3 isn't what people think it is.

It was a fine show that did exactly what it was supposed to do. Microsoft had their vision. Sony had a bunch of games because they don't NEED a vision like Microsoft. Nintendo made Zelda into an Ubisoft game. And Ubisoft kept doing the same shit it does, only this time they got people upset because Trey Parker and Matt Stone didn't wear a rainbow pin.
