Robin cursed then said “Wait they are starting Wolfs fight early...”

Wolf jumped into the ring, rolling her neck. She had a feeling this fight wasn’t going to be like others. The MC started talking and the other gate opened and a huge man walked in. Robin stared and guys “guys we have a problem...that’s not a street fighter..” Wolf backed up as the masked fighter Bane walked into the ring. He clapped and said “welcome to your final fight, Silver Vixen...you win the big prize...if you can beat me...”

Riza's eyes widen. "WHAT?!" THen looking frantically to find Wolf's Cam to see who her opponent was. The masked fighter was someone that she hadn't encountered here so far and in honesty looked the wrestling version of the Hulk. Having some sort of face recognition, JARVIS pulled up any file that could be found on this fighter. "Bane? Okay...Holy Cybertron....DO we just let her fight this guy? I certainly wouldn't want to." The young Stark spoke up though a little nervous about this whole ordeal and how it might turn out. "Let's hurry and collect all we can so we can get her out of here. This guy gives me the chills." Riza said with a shudder. Then kept at what she was gathering with RObin on the other side.

As much as she wanted someone to help Wolf, she should know by now that Wolf can handle herself. They needed to stay on task and let Wolf do her part. If Wolf wants help, she knew she would ask.

Wolf rolled her neck and muttered “Guys...lithe shorter this fight the better...” then Bane ran right at her and she jumped up and their fight to what it seemed to the death begin.

Robin was trying to be fast with his hacking and muttered “Superboy? If Wolf looks like she’s in any danger jump in. Your the only one of us who can even come close to Banes full...” then they heard a scream and a sick crack. Wolf was holding her shoulder as Bane was moving around the ring to cheers. Wolf already looked bad but she was holding her stand as she slowly got up, her shoulder busted and it looked like her leg wAs hurt badly too. She moved right behind Bane and let’s her claws out and jumped up, stabbing him in the back the best she could with a broken shoulder into his back muscles.

He spun and roared, wolf able to cut one of the tubes for his mask. He grabbed her and threw her hard into the bars, then slammed her into the ground for another sick crack. She gasped and blood hit the fighting mats. Then she bit into his arm so he would let go. She rolled away and then curled into a tight ball and slammed into his gut, sending him into the bars and then started jabbing her fists as hard as she could. She had good hits before he grabbed her by her hair and swung her hard between bars and floor. Finally he slammed her hard across the ring, wolf hit the bars and sliding down. She was covered in blood and bruises but she slowly got to her feet. She knew she was dead if he hit her again but she had to stall. Had to give her team enough time.

Robin finished and said “I’m done. So are the others. Send the signal Riza. We have to get Wolf out of there before he kills her” just then Bane was hold g Wolf by the neck, crushing her neck as she tried to break free. He laughed and said “your strong kid...most would be dead by now...but sadly you have to die now...” Wolf gasped and her vision blurred with the rest of her body numb from shock and pain.

Riza understood what Wolf was doing, and as much as she didn't like it, Riza sucked it up anyway. "Good luck, Wolf." Getting back to work.

Superboy was ready to jump in on a moment's notice as Robin requested. That was until the sickening scream and the crack. None were prepared as the team watched and sadly waited, watching as Wolf was getting beaten. As much as they watched this, watched as Wolf fought back against Bane. Riza had even stopped and watched from everyone's camera views. Sadly for Riza this felt traumatizing. Watching and feeling helpless as you had to make the tough decision. She had to look away and steeling herself before continuing before she lost it and made the call that could ruin everything. Everything they were doing to get closer to their goal. To have Superboy get in there to stop the fight and ruin the mission. Riza dealt with the cheering, the screaming, and the banging. Slowing tearing her apart.

Robin's voice was what broke Riza from the noise and get her settled down to make the necessary calls and she was ready before anyone got the chance to say anything to her. "Superboy, stop Bane now! Kid, get Wolf out of there! Everyone in there back them up and make sure Bane can't make chase! If anyone in the League is there, stop Bane and help them escape and get Wolf here for Medical attention!" She then went to another mic inside the base. "Strange, I need the medical room ready for critical injured!" Riza knew that the League had to have been with them for how crucial this mission had to have been.

Superboy didn't hesitate as he jumped into the arena and surprise attacked Bane with a punch to the face, holding nothing back as Wally got in with his speed and caught Wolf when Bane was forced to let go, speeding out of the building while the rest of the team holding off Bane so he couldn't chase after Wolf.

For anyone to come back and go to the computer, risk themselves seeing no one in the chair as Riza was now on the floor in the corner of the room somewhere curled up....afraid....

Bane roared and swung at Superboy but blasts flew around them. Batman landed between the pair, glaring at Bane and muttered “Go with the others...Bane is mine...”

Wolf was shaking badly in Kids arms, her eyes barely open from the swelling and blood. Artemis covered the pair and ran with them saying “Everybody out now!” Robin jumped thru the crowd with Aqua lad and Meg following. They made out side and Robin ran to Wolfs side, checking her over. He cursed and said “Why did it have to be Bane...the biggest nastiest one...we have to get her back...”

Strange walked into the lab and saw Riza. He ran over to her and knelt down by her, resting a hand on her shoulder. “They have Wolf and they are on their way back now...Batman and Green Arrow are handling Bane...wolf wore him out so it made him easier to take down...his being arrested as we speak...are you alright?”

[Jazz]

Superboy was ready to counter Bane's attack when he saw Batman get between them. As much as he wanted to do what Bane did to Wolf, Batman was right and he needed to retreat. So he did. Batman was to help with the escape and capture Bane and Superboy retreated to meet with his team.

When the team got back outside, a portal opened up for them and Kid Flash made a beeline for it. He went through to it to find himself back at base though no one was manning the controls for it physically.

Riza froze and stiffened at the touch for a bit before relaxing. She honestly expected some sort of hostility or scolding, but nothing came. Just reassurance and gentle words. When being asked if she was alright seemed like the keywords for her to let everything out. But she didn't. Instead, she lifted her head with a smile on her lips though it was completely fake. Much like her father and mother, she could smile through the worst to not let anything negative show. "Just needed a moment. I'm fine. Just thinking things through." She told Strange though she knew never to lie. Riza stood up and dusted off her pants before walking toward the door. She stood at the doorway and moment before turning her head slightly. "How did they do it? Dad, mom, and the rest? How did they get through it all?"

Strange frowned and said “they found peaceful moments and let their pain out in private or with each other...your father was never good at letting his stress go until your mother...I think you should speak with Robin. He could help...”

Robin ran I with Wally, looking around and then ran with him to the led bay. Wolf was barely breathing now, her blood making a trail behind them. Robing opened doors for the speed demon, pale and scared. He knew what Bane could do to a person. Batman had fought him enough. And had ended up just as bad as Wolf.

Batman and Green Arrow had Bane locked in cuffs as the rest of the league gathered the other fighters. Batman was quiet and not his normal quiet. He was pissed. Scary pissed.

Riza knew Dr. Strange couldn't see her face, but the mentioning of speaking to Robin like her dad would do when he wanted to confide in mom, made her blush. This didn't completely get her to forget what just happened. But for now she needed to do something, be elsewhere just to help her think. So she headed out of the lab without any word to Stephen.

Where Riza ended up was somewhere she had not expect. She shrugged without making any sort of comment to herself and got to work. With music filling the room and doors closed, she got to work on the punching bag infront of her, despite the braces on her legs and lower back.

Wally made his way from the gate to the medical room, letting doors be open if need be. Once there, Wally set Wolf on the bed as gently and softly as he could and backed up. He was speechless and that alone was rare for Sally to those who know him well.

Superman looked to Batman when they gathered all the fighters including Bane. He knew what was going through that head of his. Walking closer to only now be a few feet apart with Superman behind the Caped-Crusader. "You should go to her. We all know you do."

Batman didn’t move as he muttered darkly “I’m needed here...make sure her pain was worth it...make sure Bane doesn’t get out...and to do my job...” he was glaring at Bane as they loaded him into the police van, his hands shaking with rage. He wanted to kill him. Painfully.

Strange sighed and left the room to the medbay, putting his doctor hat on as He walked to the bed and started looking wolf over. He cursed softly and said “Kid I need your teacher. I need fast hands and I need Jon as well as anyone else with med training. It’s going to be a long night...” he started his work, moving Wolf to a operating room to get started fixing her up.

Robin ended up in the gym as well, not seeing Riza in his daze. He paused by the balance beams then yelled and threw a dumb bell at the mirrors and smashed it. He was panting, tears running down his cheeks. “Why does it have to be her...why every time...”

Kid nodded without another word when Dr. Strange gave him instructions. He sped out of the room and went to use the gate to go get Flash and J'onn. Once he put in the coordinates to the Fighting Pit that they had just been too, he entered through the gate and went to Flash, leaving the gate open. "Flash! Martian! Dr. Strange says he needs you ASAP. Says he needs fast hands and as much help as he can get."

Superman watched as the portal opened to see Kid Flash speed through to Flash asking for help. He looked to Batman with soft, concerned eyes. He knew what Wolf meant to him, and it was better off he went and saw her and be there, than here right now. He didn't want the man to do something he would later regret and go against what he stood for. "Go. We can handle this. Go see Wolf."

Riza too had not heard Robin walk into the gym when all you hear is the sound of a punching bag and music playing. She did come out of her thoughts when she heard a crash that got her to stop punching the punching bag and brace against it as she squeaked a scream. Looking for the source of the crash, Riza found a broken mirror and Robin near it. He was panting and in tears which made her hesitate more. Moving from the punching bag, she made cautious movements and steps towards Robin. "R-Robin...?" Almost having difficulties finding her voice. She didn't like seeing anyone cry and she had a feeling that she made Robin cry. Not having gotten Wolf out of there sooner, Yet having her go through all that beating and pain. Riza couldn't seem to look Robin in the eye with those thoughts in mind.

Dr Strange got cleaned up then walked into the room, the lights turning on as he started doing scans and xrays. He sighed and muttered “broken shoulder, broken knee cap...five broken ribs and neck damage...thankfully the spine was protected by her suit...brain bleeding and I’m sure a concussion...one lung has a rib thru it...broken cheek bone and...that’s a start. Better get cracking” he got to work on the lung first as he waited for more help, checking the brain bleeding every ten minutes.

Batman didn’t move but when the flash and Jon left he muttered “call of you need anything...thank you Clark...” he ran after the others. Green Arrow moved by Superman and said “he looked like he was going to kill...is Wolf really that bad?”

Robin turned his head slightly and said “sorry...I didn’t mean to...I’m just...” he stopped and looked at his feet, shaking. “She’s really bad Riza...the worst I’ve ever seen...Bane almost killed her...would have if you hadn’t sent Superboy in when you did...I froze...I couldn’t move watching her get beaten like that...like I had to watch Batman get beaten when we first fought Bane...Strange started working on her but...I don’t know if she’s going to...” he covers his face with one hand, his legs shaking badly.

Superman watched as Batman left after THe Flash and J'onn left. "As much as it pains me to admit it, she is. It's a miracle that she is still alive. I'm sure without that healing factor that she would be dead. And as much as Batman doesn't want to admit it, he sees Wolf like a daughter like he sees his underlings as if they were his own."

Riza shrunk her head to her shoulders as she listened to Robin vent. She could see the pain Robin is in as he talked and it pained her more for some reason. Hesitantly, Riza reached out and gently grabbed Robin's wrist that was free and not hiding his face. "I-I'm sorry....I should have done something sooner. No matter what she shouldn't have been put through that and I didn't help her sooner...." Her voice begins to crack, "....I'm so sorry Robin....I-I'm sorry....!" Riza was looking at the floor and her hair hiding her face.

Green Arrow sighed and said “she did the job...I hope we got what we needed from it so her pain was for nothing...” he patted Superman’s shoulder and went to help with the clean up.

Robin turned to her and said “Riza...this wasn’t your fault. We had no idea it was Bane running the fight club. If we had, Wolf wouldn’t have gone into that fight. But she handled it so we could get the job done. You made it fast and clean so we could get it done as fast as we could. And now...Strange is working on her and we just have to hope it’s enough...please don’t blame yourself...Wolf knew how to hold Bane off...” he smiled weakly at her and then pulled her into a hug. “Please smile...I could really use that smile of yours...like a sunrise...”

Strange was working as Flash and Jon came in. He looked up and looked stressed. “Good, I need all the help I can get. I have bleeding everywhere and I’m not fast enough for all of it. Jon, she has a brain bleed that must be cleared. Flash, I need the best fast stitch you have. We are not close to being done but she doesn’t have long”

The Flash and J'onn nodded before getting to where they needed to be around the table to help WOlf heal. Berry made sure that he was precise and clean with his stitchings where they were needed while J'onn took care of the dangerous amount of blood in Wolf's brain. Time was of the essence for the insurance of Wolf's survival. This did not exempt them from the stress while helping with this procedure since these were the crucial moments that no mistakes could be made now it was only Wolf who could decide her fate while the three worked on saving her life.

In all honesty, Riza didn't know what to say with all that Robin was telling her. It was all true with what he was saying. The Young Stark knew that they had gone into this whole mission blind, that they had only been able to go off of what they had and that sadly this had been the outcome. What more that Riza hadn't expected was being pulled into a hug where all she was red, yellow, and black which now put her on the verge of tears. She hadn't tensed up at all, in fact, she accepted the comfort. Tears were coming back at full force as she wrapped her arms around the Boy Wonder and buried her face into his shoulder where she now shook and cried silently. Sniffles would be heard when she tried to get a breath in and continue to let it all out.

It took Riza a little to calm down once she felt herself calm down, her sniffles becoming more frequent so she could breathe and calm down. Riza brought a hand to her face to wipe the tears away as her sniffling started to cease. She tightened the hug a little, more as a silent thank you before lifting her head, looking to Robin and gave him a small weak smile like he wanted but this one was genuine.

Strange worked without pausing as they moved slowly to all her injuries. One point her lung failed and strange had to rush to fix that and put her on a breathing tube. It took hours, soon the whole team was in the waiting room, Batman standing close to the doors but out of the way. Everyone knew better then to go near him, his aura giving them reason.

Robin held her as long as she needed, rubbing her back as his tears slowed. He moved back and smiled at her weakly saying “shall we go see how Wolf is? Maybe we can get an update”

Suddenly alarms went off and strange looked up and said “crap her heart isn’t handling this! I’m in her chest now. Flash I need you to take over my stitches while I keep her heart going. Jon how is her brain doing?”

[Jazz]

The young Stark nodded though found no words to speak. As she felt calm now, she now felt tired from her break-down but wanted to go see Wolf, or at least see how she was doing. Riza walked with Robin from the gym to the Medical Wing of the base in hopes there was some good news.

"Got it." Flash did as he was told and worked where he was needed while J'onn winced when asked about Wolf's brain. "Her brain is trying to respond to her irregular heartbeat. The blood is no longer an issue as of this moment however, she has a severe concussion. What do you need of me?" He asked while trying to ignore the emotions that he was feeling from Wolf.

Strange saw his face and said “tell me what’s she’s feeling. It might help me find the problems faster...if her head is okay for now then we need to stabilize all the broken joints and bones and make sure no more organs were hit...” Strange was tired now, wiping his face and rolling his neck as he got her heart to take to a better beat. He sighed and said “we need to give an update but I can’t move...flash are you at a stopping point that you can tell the others how it’s going? And we need someone with laser sight. It will hurt but it will close the wounds faster”

Robin and Riza walked into the waiting room, robin holding her hand in comfort. Artemis was pacing along with Aqua lad. Green Arrow was a few feet from Bats, ready to stop him if he had too. Robin moved to Connor and Meg and asked “any word yet? How bad is she?”

J'onn went to focusing on Wolf's mind, what she was feeling and what could be done. Only tapping into her emotions and brain waves of what was going on. Berry looked to Strange, "I'm at a stopping point. And I can and find you something better than laser sight. If you haven't noticed the feeling of brooding hate and doom on the other side of that door, Bats might have a tool in that belt of his, hang on." He went to the door in a rush and opened it looking to the group. "I was told to give an update. Wolf so far has several broken ribs, some bone breaks, and fractures. Her lung collapsed but she is on support right now. Has a severe concussion but other than that we have had to do quite a bit of stitching to let her healing factor do the rest." He then looks to Batman. "You by chance have a laser torch or something of the like we can use to help carburize some of her wounds? The Doc needs it."

Riza looked to the Flash with wide eyes. With pretty much everyone here, she felt useless but paying to whomever that would listen, hoping that Wolf will make a huge recovery. She looked to Robin, then Batman whom she didn't care what aura he had, she could tell he was as just as worry about Wolf as the rest of them.

Batman nodded and went into his belt, pulling out a small tube and walking over and handing it to him. “You know the dial is on the end...not too hot Barry...please...” His hands were shaking but only Flash saw them. Robin walked back to Riza and said “Aqua lad said they finished the clean up...Bane is locked back up so that’s good...”

Strange was finishing up her organ repair and he took a step back, rolling his neck and taking a few deep breaths. “Almost there....clean up work and...double check...” Wolf was scared, her body trying to heal but couldn’t in it’s state. She was fighting hard to stay alive. And she was worried about her team. And Riza most of all. Strange stepped back up as Flash came in with the tool. “Perfect...when I’m done up here start sealing the wounds...I need to finish her stomach area then set the joints to heal right...we are at hour four boys...if anyone needs a break take it...” Strange went back to work, looking drained and stressed but his hands didn’t show it.

Riza looked at Robin when he came to her and giving her the report of what happened after the League helped the team escape. She nodded a little. "...okay...I'll look into the report later...no doubt JARVIS got a copy of the report to help with what we may be looking for." She looked at the door to where Wolf was on the other side of when the Flash shut it.

When Bats gave him the device, Flash had indeed seen the shake in the man's hands and took it and gave a quick nod. "Its okay Bats. She'll be okay. She's a tough girl. Remember that..." He then went back into the room and looked to Strange. J'onn noticed that what she was feeling was not just pain but worry. He decided to help calm this worry as he tried to tell her how they were okay. That it was okay to be scared. "Dr. Strange. It appears that her healing factor is under stress or that since her body is not used to this ability, it thinks it cannot do its job to heal its host." J'onn informed. Flash nodded when Strange told them about needing to take a break. They decided not to since Stephen himself was not taking a break and having much to do to make Wolf better.
