Franz was in an absent minded daydream, as if nodding off. He stared blankly at the front of the room, as if he had become a mindless husk. It was only when he felt a sudden tap on his shoulder that he led his gaze to a new student in the room. He felt odd about him, unlike the rest that he remained composed around, this boy brought out something, almost nostalgic. He couldn't understand what it was, and it ended up causing a spark to come out of his head before he regained his though. He scooted over, and nodded to a chair for the body to sit down in, next to him.

Edward was a little shocked when a spark flew from the Franz's head, instinctively the tendril of hair pulled back like a hand that had been slap when reaching into a forbidden cookie jar. Unlike his hair Edward showed almost no reaction to the spark rather wait until the Franz started to shuffle over to make some room, at this his small smile formed into a grin.

"Not much of a talker are ya?" chuckling he falls into the seat "That's fine, I can talk plenty for the both of us" Edward started to wounder if this boy could even talk at all, quietly his hair shifted behind the seat trying and pack itself as neatly as possible under it so as not to be in the way.

"I really only checked for the room number, do you know what what this lecture is?" Lying back further in his chair he rested his head in has hands.

It sounded like that of a new yorker, but a mix of upstate and bronx, which left him sounding awkward more than anything. "Oh, so you do talk!" Edward joked hi accent being an odd contrast to Hanz's being a little thicker and the combination of slang made it no secret that he hailed from a land down under rather then the surrounding areas "Ya must hav' missed it from before, I'm Ed" He offered on of his hands to Franz.

Taking a glance at the clock he noted that the lecturer was cutting it close on the first day, but a glance was all he spared as Franz seemed much more interesting at this point in time. The sockets and sparks were easily enough to tell Edward that Franz wasn't entirely human, not that it bothered him but it did peak his interest. Its not like anyone here was pure human or they probably wouldn't be here, a question for later.

"So what kinda power ya rocking there Franzy?" He slung his arm around Franz's shoulder.

James was rapidly teleporting himself and Emily across long distances, heading to the school. "I can't believe you made us late! How the hell do you get lost when you can teleport?!" Emily said, clearly very peeved at being so late thanks to James having messed up on the coordinates of the school. "Hey! It's not my fault! We haven't been there before, and you know what happened last time! I am not paying for property damage again because we end up in a wall and you decide to break it to get us out!" They quickly arrived at the high school building, hoping they wouldn't be punished too badly for being so late.

Whisper snuck out of the nurses room and wanted to poke around at the others who'd had a more 'successful' test. However as she walked the halls, she had to dodge into a class room and hide beside a student she hadn't seen yet that sat next to Franz, taking cover behind this being let her stay out of sight of a teacher that was coming down the hall.

"So a no on the Franzy? I'll come up with something else" Edward decided to take Franz's silence to mean he wasn't fond the first attempt at nicknaming him. "Franza? Fran? Fraza? Fr... ok this could take some time" he removed his arm from Franz's shoulder and sat thoughtfully thinking of all manner of ways to abbreviate the strange name.

A slight tug from his hair guided Edward and his head back to a girl in red and black spandex hiding behind him hiding from what he presumed was a member of staff. Readjusting his head band to accommodate the new angle he reached a hand out all be it awkwardly for a hand shake.

"Hi there, ummmm how are you?"

Edward rolled his eyes at the strangely dressed girl, but he was still quick to pull himself back into a sitting position. Giving hair a flick it started to move of on its own the majority of it parting down the back and coming to rest at either side of the girl so as to better conceal her. To some one walking by the class he would just look like he was being inconsiderate with his hair.

"Its the first day, how'd you manage to piss someone off enough to hide already" Edward whispered back to the girl, careful to speak out of the left side of his mouth so he might look like he was speaking to Franz.
