We're an order of knights with a backup force. We don't need a huge army to take on bandits, even if they're pretty nasty bandits who've raided villages and stuff. It's quality over quantity.

Haha, I was figuring we had something like 100-130 people total or something? It is hard to tell what we have cause no one has fully said. Do you have like a rough estimate? I tried to be vague with how many we had since I have no idea haha, I figured each flank had 20-30 people each.

Haha, it's fine. It probably seems that way because I was trying to be vague. I had been thinking like 20 pike men, 10 archers, and like 15 cavalry at a max for my group. Are our total forces closer to 300-400?

The description of the pike men's formation does sound a bit much though, but I figured until I knew the numbers that I'd go big or go home hahaha

I was so baffled by three ranks. It sounds like that would be about 150 pikemen... quadruple it and we'd get 600 for the full army. Add in about a hundred archers per group, a similar number of cavalry, and the mixed group about equal to pikes: 150+100+100+150, so ~2,000. Pretty certain the knights are not meant to be larger than the Praetorian Guard. xD

Hahaha yeah, I really just wanted it to sound like they were organized. I wrote 3 units each 3 ranks deep, but realistically if there is only 20-25 dismounted knights that's not possible, but it does sound legit. Really the most important detail is that there is a line of pikemen, a line of archers, and three groups of cavalry all of which is totaling 25-50 people total.

If you guys want me to change anything, that's fine by me. I didn't have any sleep when I wrote that so I wouldn't mind editing it.

So... This camp of the bandits. Do we have a rough picture of what it looks like?
I'm curious if its something a skilled saboteur could get in behind their distracted ranks and whether it offers covet

It's a fairly large, semi-clear area with lots of tents, a big campfire, and some basic spiked wood fences that can easily be taken down. Lots of bloodstained stuff the bandits are probably sorting through and cleaning, making it fairly clear how they got the items.

A big wooden chair, presumably for "Bandit King" Jeremiah.

I did a quick break down of our numbers with Vita. There are around 250-275 people total on the expedition, not exclusively knights but also support and regular soldiers. Each group had between 60-75 people in it so if you are doing anything with them that should help you out.
