Adira was an Elite in her school years. She was top of her class, and in a school like Caelbury Academy, that's quite a feat. She prides herself on her academic achievements, but there is certainly more to her then brains.

Why is your character teaching here?
The students seem to think that Adira is only around to make their lives miserable. Although this is a benefit, that is not her reasoning. She came from a tough home situation, and Caelbury really turned her life around for the better. The teachers and staff pushed her, forced her to do better then she knew she could. She was inspired by them. And now, she wants to be the one who pushes her students for excellence. Maybe they won't look back and think "Oh wow, she was such a great role model". Most likely, they'll just be glad she didn't hang them from the ceiling by their toenails.
Personality:
Adira is many things. Confident, outgoing, stubborn, opinionated, and outspoken. She doesn't care who likes or dislikes her. She has a sharp tongue and is never afraid to speak her mind, even if what she has to say isn't very nice. She says it like it is and never sugar coats anything.
“Life sucks, people suck, I suck. Suck it up and move on, thank you.”
She takes no nonsense. She can be pretty scary when she's angry, and it isn't hard to set her off. She can not only dish out some cold punishment to her students, but a large majority of them are actually afraid she might murder them in their sleep or something. So basically, don't mess with her.
Adira is not a very patient person. She doesn't like people who whine or complain. She actually finds some enjoyment from anyone she catches falling asleep in class. Not just her class, no - if she walks past a door and sees a student sleeping, she will barge into the class just to wake them up. She does have a soft spot for the younger boys, however. She hides it well, but sometimes she has the random urge to hug them and feed them marshmallows.
History:
Adira was raised by 'tough love'. She was the only daughter in her family. With five older brothers, she learned how to stand up for herself as soon as she could speak.
Her family didn't have much money. Her mother was a maid and was very often away from the kids, and her father had multiple women to 'take care of'.
Her personality started to show in grade school. She was kicked out of both kindergarten and first grade the first week, and was not 'officially' in school until second grade. Amazingly, even with no prior schooling, Adira was able to perform the same level of work as her peers. A mere three years later - fifth grade - she was capable of highschool work.
When she was in eighth grade, her parents officially went their separate ways. The children and their mother moved quite a distance. After the split, they were even more financially unstable. At some point, Adira dropped out of school to stay home and help her mother, who had fallen ill under all the stress. Later that year, at age 48, her mother passed away in her sleep. Cause of death was never determined, but the children believed she had cancer.
Unknown to her, a fundraiser was held in her name. Her older brothers came together and raised a large sum of money to send their little sister to the best school they could find; Caelbury Academy. Adira was a little mad when she found out. She didn't like people acting like she needed their pity, or their money. But when she saw what Caelbury had to offer her, she couldn't refuse. Over the course of their family's history, they managed to evolve with the time of each coming era, amassing a fortune that would put Andrew Carnegie to shame. They began developing a unique banking firm that worked in secret, organizing all of the world's money. Countries, states, individual families, it didn't matter. If you were rich in the billions, you went to the McHaddash family. Due to this they became friends with all the corporate companies and systems known around making them difficult to cross. Especially since they controlled the flow of said money.
Due to this, they had an excessive amount of free time and unlimited resources, and were able to continue the tradition of the warrior. However, since stabbing the members of other clans was no longer acceptable, they moved to martial arts. Since the Olympics inducted martial arts, a McHaddash was there, providing contestant after contestant of unstoppable martial artist. The McHaddash family holds more than 6 dozen gold medals, all in martial arts. Eric holding three of the most recent ones. He began training at the early age of six, and never stopped, mastering six different types of Martial Arts, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, Eskrima, Krav Magga, Eskrima, Dragon style Kung Fu, and western style boxing. Eric is widely known as one of the best martial artists in the world, and the best in his family (which says something significant by itself).

However, he did not wish to make a career of fighting, so, he began to search for a new profession and fell in love with both biology and Engineering. So, he went and chose the best of both worlds, becoming a renowned Biomedical engineer. He was able to design a new prosthetic body part system that connected to the brain and functioned as a normal body part. He was even able to test it with his father who had recently lost his leg in a car crash. It worked so well that he received a letter from the Academy asking for him to teach biomedical engineering in place of a recently hired staff member. Flattered by the request, Eric accepted.
Personality: Eric is your textbook definition of a man. Big, strong, smart, outdoorsy, polite, you name it. He has an extreme can do attitude and enjoys the spirit of competition to no end. It isn’t hard to get on his good side, due to his happy and charismatic manner, but it is hard to get on his bad side. Eric believes that revenge is pity, and if one has a score to settle, the agreement upon it should be mutual. He does not prefer to resort to thing he considers as petty taking a person’s finances and ruining his life. No. He believes if you want to confront another man and even the score it should be a fight! After Eric has fought another man, win or lose, it doesn’t matter, he will walk away with renewed respect for him, provided that he doesn’t cower like some sort of child going up against the big school bully.

Would biomedical engineering really be offered as a class in high school...? I mean, I know Caelbury is elite and advanced and stuff, but that just seems like a college course. If anything, it would be a summer program I think.
I'm taking a biomedical engineering specialist course, I'm a sophomore in high school.

Thanks, I take a lot of pride in what I do. Right now, I'm at the stage of learning to create special piece virtually via CAD and Inventor. We haven't gotten to apply that part to the human bady yet, but we will.

No, actually. There's no post order or post limit of any kind, therefore nothing against speed posting, technically. Mainly because too many roleplays that I've been in have died because someone didnt post, or not enough people posted.
The only requirement is: be mindful of people and how much they've posted.
