Valerian headed back to the barracks. Killing the vampire had been easier than Lyn had made out, requiring no effort as it fell from a single shot. What was strange was what he had learnt about the creation of that vampire, but he thought not to ponder on it; it wasn't too important.

He neared the barracks and upon seeing Aya and Ellie, thought not to bother them and went round, entering the complex from the window. Coming to the room most people were in, he pulled up a chair and sat down, not noticing that Jean was laying injured.

Guren said, "So did your mission go well, Valerian?" he asked gruffly, still miffed at Jean.

Rai turned around at the sound of a chair being moved to face Val "Look who we have here, where ya been Val?" Rai asked. His question was answered quickly, intentionally or not by Guren "Wait a minute, there was a mission?" "I guess that makes two solo operatives then, hope your outing went better than well... his" Rai said as he gestured to the injured Jean, chuckling slightly.

"Fuck you, Rai. Did you do anything? That's a no. So you can't say anything. And Rai, I'm guessing his mission was assigned to him. Regardless, I'm certain I killed more of those bastards than him. Guren folded his arms over his chest. "You're part of the company, which makes me your Commanding Officer, as much as you hate it. And as your Commanding Officer, I am telling you you're staying on bedrest until at LEAST the sunrise. Don't like it, take it up with Admiral Hiragi."

Aya got back later after scouting. She went back to the barracks to get some much needed rest.

"Well that much is true, but it's still just a joke Jean. You'd do the same if the roles were swapped." Rai quickly replied, trying to defuse the situation. He'd hold his tongue for the time being, Guren was in the room, if he decided to step in on this Rai would likely get it back tenfold. He was bored and wanted to know what they'd be doing so Rai asked "So then, what are we to do come sunrise Guren? What kind of mission are we going on?"

Guren replied, "Depends on what my orders are. From now on you will be a squad. You will be like a family unit, and I expect all of you to act as such. Defend each other for the mission, but also because without each other, you will fail."

"You know Lyn well enough, Guren. She'd never let me come back if something went wrong." He turned to Jean, speaking in a calm and monotonous tone. "Not been up to much. I can see something happened to you though. Oh, and sorry, Rai, for leaving so abruptly. You can blame Guren. Mainly his fault."

Ask him. He brought him up.

"Guren, speaking of the Admiral, Lyn wants to have this note sent to him. It's about a laboratory we found out there." He handed Guren a note.

"Well, I'm off now, goodbye." He headed towards the sleeping areas and fell asleep quickly.

Guren read over the note. He nodded, stashing the note away in his breast pocket. He then said, "I think we all could use some rest after that little incident earlier. So off to bed, all of you."

"So we're all in the dark then." Rai said, sounding unimpressed. "Try to warn me next time Val." Rai said whilst smirking. Rai's smirk disappeared pretty quickly when Guren mentioned them as a 'family'. "A family unit? I can try, not much that could make me turn my back on these guys though." Rai stood up and briefly stretched "Well, I'm off" he announced before leaving the room. Act as if we're a family, hopefully this one won't break down. Rai thought to himself before dismissing the idea and heading off to bed.

Tasuke went to see Aya at her barracks, Tasuke walks up to the door. Hopefully that scouting mission was a success we need as much info as we can get about the humans and what they are doing Tasuke Thinks to himself. Tasuke knocks three times on the door and waits for a response.

Tasuke opens the door and walks inside and takes a seat in one of the chairs in the Barracks "So Aya did you find anything useful during your scouting mission did you find any human outposts did you encounter any humans at all and if so please tell" Tasuke said with a straight face "The queen wanted me to ask, she was a bit nervous that you would have to fight anyone from the Moon Demon Company" tasuke said as he look her straght in the eye. Tasuke always found a way to the truth so if she lies he will find out in time.

Aya replied carefully, "I did find a human barracks. It was deserted." It was a half-truth. "I also found a few human settlements that were fenced off. Nothing major. No one from the Moon Demon Company that was outside at the time." She looked directly into his eyes. Her blue eyes were solemn as she watched the noble, her jaw set slightly. Her brows were at a neutral angle.

"Ok well thank you for answering my questions I will be on my way now. I hope to see you again soon." Tasuke says as walks out of the barracks.

Tasuke walks up to a team of vampires "I need you guys to check out a barracks, it's said to be empty so we are going to go and investigate, see if it is really empty. If so, this barracks could make for a great forward outpost." Tasuke says with a grin. "Well, is that clear?" Tasuke asks, a hint of malice in his voice.

The vampires bowed. "Yes, sir!" They walked.

Aya bit her lip. She hadn't given out the location of her family. She had given the location of a barracks that was a city away from them. It truly was empty.
