Aya got up and she snuck outside behind them, a cutlery knife in her hand. She didn't take kindly to being awakened in the middle of the night, especially by vampires. She hid the knife and said, "Hey!" When the vampires turned she folded her arms. "Don'tcha remember the Queen's orders? No directly drinking the blood of a human!" She recited the law that Queen Krul Tepes had created for the vampires.

Valerian didn't stir in his sleep. In fact, even if he was awoken, he wouldn't have done anything. He'd probably be in this state for at least one more day, until he was able to push 'Va-chan' into oblivion. It seemed as if he wouldn't even get up to escape with the other orphans tomorrow.

Eleanor stares at Valerian and sighs. She rushes to her bed and starts to clear the floor. She opens the compartment in the ground and pulls out her modified metal rod and rushes to see what the threat is outside. She looks at Aya and rolls her eyes "Of course you know that, any way..." She turns to the vampires "Leave the children alone!" She looked like she was ready to fight

Aya looked at the kid and gave him a look that said to run. So he did. Aya shot a glare at the vampires.

Rai was awoken by the sounds of movement and shouting nearby. When he looked up he saw Eleanor through the doorway, it looked like she was angry and ready to attack someone with some kind of bat. Curious, Rai stood up and walked to the doorway only to see Aya face to face with two vampires! "Aya? Ellie? What's going on out here?" Rai said trying his best to not sound afraid due to the two hungry looking vampires nearby.

Aya turned to see younger Rai. She said calmly, as though the two hungry vampires before her were no threat, "Rai-kun, go back inside. Ellie and I can handle this. They weren't supposed to try feeding off a child directly...."

Valerian could hear the commotion outside. He felt a feeling of worry towards his family. Now he could hear that Rai had joined Ellie and Aya, Valerian felt the need to act. He swallowed his morose feelings, supressing the thought of 'Va-chan' and rolled out of his bedding place. He shook himself to make his senses alert, and headed downstairs.

Pushing past Rai gently, he came to the scene where the Vampire had been feeding. Anger coursed through him. "You treat us like livestock, then you do this to us?" He couldn't stop himself. Heading straight towards the vampire, fist first, he struck a blow on its head.

The vampire easily swatted Valerian away from him. "Stupid children...Not even worth our time."

Aya went to Valerian. "Are you okay Valerian?" She checked him for any bumps on his head.

Rai stood their in the doorway. As much as he wanted to listen to Aya's advice and run away from this whole situation, he somehow couldn't bring himself to leave Aya and Ellie out there with two vampires. Suddenly, Rai found that he was being pushed aside by... Valerian? For some reason Valerian, the orphan who distanced himself from everyone was getting involved, however Valerian soon ended up getting swatted away by a vampire. Seeing this, Rai quickly joined Aya at Valerian's side, and mustered up as much courage as possible before saying "Leave Val alone, you creeps!"

"I'm fine." He said to both Rai and Aya. "Let me deal with this." He revealed the small knife that had been used to cut the melon, and flung it straight at the vampire's head. "Aya, we may have to bring the plan forward."

The vampires laughed. "And what is livestock going to do?" Aya glared up at the vampires. "Must I get the Queen involved?" That made them grumble and leave.

The two vampires laughed. "The queen doesn't care what happens down here. I think we need to teach you nosy upstarts a lesson. Mind your own business. ... yeah, and then we're going to catch that other human trash and waste him too. Can't let your kind start thinking rebellion is a good idea."

They started walking casually toward Aya, as if killing her was just another form of entertainment, when a voice suddenly broke out of the darkness near them.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Devon stepped out, sword already drawn, with a black hood over his head. He was threatening the other two vampires. "Just leave. These humans are innocent. Their lives are just as important as yours."

The vampires blinked in astonishment. "And who the hell are you, asshole? Are you seriously going to get in our way over these insolent blood bags?" At least they had turned their attention over to Devon and off of Aya, Valerian, and Rai.

Devon stepped forward, glancing at the others. "Yes."

The two vampires looked at each other, then back at Devon and laughed. "Okay then! At least We'll get a decent fight tonight." They drew a shortblade and two daggers and came at Devon.

"Go back inside!" Devon shouted before he was doubly engaged.

Eleanor stares at the two vampires, she was ready to fight when Vale and another child by what she could guess was Rai. She wasnt planning on having any more variables in this fight. Suddenly she hears a voice from behind the two vampires start to give them a lecture. She was starting to get kind of frustrated at all the interruptions. She points the metal rod in front of her ready to fight even if she dies "Aya, go inside and take everyone with you. Make sure to make a nice meal for everyone to eat" She winks sneakily towards Aya.

Aya looked at Ellie. "And leave you by yourself with three vampires? I don't think so." She turned to Valerian and Rai. "You two, get inside now, and make sure no one else comes out."

Rai looked to Aya. "A-Aya, you're going to try to fight these guys? You're kidding right? There's three of them!" Rai said, his voice full of fear. He didn't want to run away unless he absolutely needed to, but on the other hand he didn't want to end up as a late-night snack for these vampires. He then turned to Valerian and asked "W-Well, are we going to run?"

Eleanor looked at Aya and sighs "You need to go with them, you are the only one which knows how to cook" She gives another sneaky wink, She was obviously trying to get a message about doing something to Aya. But it didnt seem to be working. She stares at the two vampires fighting the other vampire and starts to charge into the fight with her metal rob with wood bits on it.

Aya huffed and rolled her eyes. She took Valerian and Rai's hands and she took them inside. She looked at Valerian. "We are going to have to kickstart the plan."

"I can cook as we-" Valerian was interrupted by Aya taking his hand and leading him inside. "Aya, why..."

His eyes lit up as soon as she mentioned 'the plan'. "Right. I guess you'll need to work on getting the ma-" He then noticed Rai was here. "Mallet so we can hammer the nails into the table. Would he mind you visiting now?"

Aya smiled. "I can visit now...I'll just have to sneak past the vamps that are fighting."

Rai found himself stunned as he was suddenly being lead by the hand back inside by Aya, at least he didn't have to be near those vampires anymore. Once indoors, Rai breathed a deep sigh of relief before asking both Valerian and Aya "Wait, what plan? And why do we need a mallet anyway Val?"
