Gonna brew some coffee, get some ramen, and then post.

It'll take me a little bit, gotta get warmed up before playing with myself y'know? @Dedonus

But seriously, I figured out how to really Introduce Might as a character without any obtrusive introduction of villainy or even some distinctly dire circumstance. And Philly is the perfect place for me to do it.

Who let you out of the box? @Fallenreaper, didn't I tell you to make sure that he doesn't escape when you transferred VATROU?

Little did you know Ded. LeeRoy wasn't the only one to escape. He freed me some time ago. Muhahawa. Just be thankful I've decided to be good for a while. And I have plans in motion for that Box of yours. Never again! I spit at thee!!

I can't control the box's whims completely! That's why it's effective btw. It's got a mind of its own...

:p I doubt that would be enough really. Speaking of Greek Myth, Hero suggested an alias for Racheli which might actually fit her: Nemesis.

What, do you say hi to Tantalus when you go down there.

That's fine. Although Racheli better beware, because Nemesis is the Greek Goddess of Retribution who punishes those who overstep their bounds (their hubris).

Being naughty. I see. Anyways I see Tantalus every once in a while. Gotta mind the sign to not feed him Hades is unforgiving if you take pity on those forever in torture. Also. The Roman Goddess Fortuna is the source of power for one of my side characters. Who I want to work in after this Arch is over. Maybe when I do something with fdeviant.

She was actually several really though most notable were Revenge and Retribution. Most, if I recalled right prayed to her and one other who was aligned with Justice for favoring their revenge. She was also the other side of the coin for the Greek Goddess Tyche (made into Fortuna for Roman) due to her more generous nature and lacking foresight over the consequences of her cost less gifts when she wasn't being fickle.

@Fallenreaper So Nemesis is also Fortuna? Hmm. I kinda wanted a God not within Greek Mythos. But I guess that only leaves Norse, Egyptian and Middle Eastern Gods. I could try a Japanese God. But Fortuna really worked for that character's background. I suppose there could just be clear divides between the Greek and Roman Gods of this Universe and the people confused the two. Far too often.

Maybe. But I was looking for a God of Fortune. So I'll see which other Gods cover that aspect. Though hopefully Ded will chime in and clear things up. For all I know Greek and Roman Gods of this Universe are two separate entities. I mean it's possible that people just got these Gods mixed up, in an age of rampant illiteracy keeping track of Gods and their aspects might have been more connivance then it is today.

I'm sure those who worshipped in temples or holy sites would be actually know more about their own Gods. But for common folk fudging up the facts might have been all too common.

No... She is the other side of the coin, the opposite and balancer of that.

Okay. I just read that wrong then. Still I hope Ded clears which Gods are which to whom regarding who worshipped them and if the Greek Gods have been Confused for Roman Gods before.

She's also called another goddess in the Roman version actually but I don't feel like spelling it. XD

Fortuna = Tyche (Τυχη, which is luck in Greek, as fortuna is luck in Latin).

While I have not really considered whether to make a distinguish between the Roman and Greek gods, as of right now I will say that they are the same in this universe. Of course, the Roman versions have some nuances that are not present in their Greek counterparts (and vice versa). However, I think that having both Roman and Greek pantheons could easily get confusing and I feel they would be too similar.
