While at work, Ginny (known as Broker) is a cold person. Some people have gone as far to call her frigid. She prefers to be described as detached. She doesn't want, nor cares, to like the people she works with. She just thinks of them a tools or means to an end. She is a very hard working woman who likes to be through. She rarely delegates anything to anyone and trusts no one but herself.

When Ginny is with friends she is practically a different person. She is very open and warm. Though she is an almost compulsive liar. She likes to laugh and tell jokes. She is also a very tactile person. Chances are she'll want to hold your hand. Ginny also tends to spend a lot of money on clothes and accessories. She'll also donate a bit to whatever charity strikes her fancy. All of her friends view Ginny as a very loyal, abet busy person.

Version 1 History

History: Ginny was born to poor parents. They wasted whatever money they gained on booze and drugs. Needless to say home life was no life for little Ginny. She spent a lot of time at school, either in the library or on the playground. She rarely went home unless she had to. Because of her peculiar gifts she excelled in school. She graduated High School by the age 14 and went to college. She gained her emaciation the very next year when she was fifteen.

Since she had a free ride to Yale, she focused on ridding herself of her past and elevating herself. She went to work for a pharmaceutical corporation, Axell Corp., and started earning more money. But it wasn't enough for Ginny. Through her connections she began to discover the world of blackmail. The added income was very much needed and appreciated. By the time she was seventeen, Broker, was a force in the underground. If you wanted information Broker would get it to you at a price. Ginny didn't care who she sold information to, as long as they paid.

By the time she was in her twenties she had set herself up an empire in the underworld. In her alternate life she was now a shareholder in Axell Corp. Her quick and deft mind kept her above scrutiny and climbing the corporate later. However not all was rosy. Ginny was able to keep her identity a secret through an intense game of shuffle with Mixtape. Quite a few individuals in her organization have gone to jail in her place.

Version 2 History

Whenever Ginny touches and person or object she can get a "reading" off of it. For example, if Ginny touches a door knob and concentrates, she can see the last couple of people who also touched the door knob and know when they did so. However not all readings are clear. The older the object is, the easier it is to get a reading. If there was a traumatic event attached to the object, the easier it would be to see it. The newer the object is, the harder. People are extremely hard and most readings are nonsensical. Ginny cannot get readings off charred objects (if nothing has touched it after the burning) or liquids or gases.

Eidetic Memory

Once Ginny has seen/read/smelled/heard/tasted something once, she'll never forget it. However it's not all active recall. She can "forget" things if she doesn't consciously think about everything pertaining to the subject/issue.

How many sentences make up a paragraph? That's an easy answer. Four. But with the advanced minimum requirement of twelve lines? Somehow the math just isn't adding up. And what are lines anyways? Are they on a wide screen or on a cell phone? What dictates a line? The world may never know. But what is known is that this a paragraph.

"This is crap." Ginny tapped a pencil against her teeth as she looked at what was scribbled on her paper. She balled it up aggressively and tossed it at the back of Blue Demon's head.

"This is crap." Ginny repeated in a cold tone. "Rewrite it and please, for your sake, stop being an idiot." Ginny raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow at Blue's eye roll. The two women stared at each other for a few seconds before Blue's shoulders sagged and she sighed.

"Fine. See if I try to add in personality again." Blue replied offended. Her blue eyes narrowed at Ginny. Then she huffed again. More or less at Ginny's lack of reply.

"Alright. Alright. I'm writing." Blue turned back to the computer and began to type. "And you suck." She tossed back over her shoulder to Ginny. There was nothing but silence from Ginny's end after Blue's comment. The pettiness of it was probably below Ginny to respond anyways. Not the the two women could ever be called friends. Forced acquaintances might be the best word for their peculiar arrangement. They both knew what would happen to the other if they lost the need for one another.

But for now? That meant suffering in childish silence.

Current status: All that's left to do is rewrite her origins, think up a supporting cast AND a sample post.

Q about the sample post. Does it have to be a completely new work? Or can I use prior works? If yes to the first, can it also double as a first post? If yes to the second, awesome.

Calm down. :P Which city, first off, do you think would fit her best? There's about 6 options and all have PCs in them so you won't be playing alone. There's Albany, Grant City, New York City, Pacific Point, Richmond, and Lost Haven.

I didn't think I'd be playing alone. I just stated that undoubtedly she'd have to be based somewhere not involved in anyone else's cities in order to build up her past how I want it. That's pretty much all I was saying. But I intend to her have her muck about in other people's cities.

I actually don't smoke. I live in Alaska where it's legal. But my Boss considers me the most boring person he knows. I don't drink, party or hang out with real life friends. He's even offered to take me to. Gentleman Clubs.. Uh hum. Yeah those ones, just so I'd loosen up.
