Hmm,,,what would be the easiest way to get everyone caught up with the IC without having everyone read 190 some posts.

I was curious of that as well. Mostly because if the characters are non established, and the only characters who know each are the ones who've teamed up or already encountered each other, then is any of it necessarily relevant to me?

I am trying to write up a little summary (or a large one, considering there are 192 posts) and a guide on which poster's characters you should read if you really want to dive into the IC from the beginning. I would say, if you want to read the IC, I would focus on NMS's, mine, and Raptor-man's characters. Some other characters are also important, but I will go more in depth later.

Edit: I just think it is important to allow easy access to what has happened in the IC to new players so that they know the background of the characters. I don't expect new players to read all the IC. That's quite a read in itself.

After looking through the IC (yes, I scanned through it ), I saw that at least 25 posts can be skipped without losing any meaning (i.e. they did not interact with the characters with the most posts (i.e. Raptor, Iron Knight, Arachne, Icon, Lyger, Director Anderson, etc). While that still leaves a little over 160 posts to read, it does take a chunk out.

Ugh, even if I expand my "skip posts" idea, I can only get to 46 posts. That places it at 146 posts.

Quick post up, not my best but I'm a little under the weather. When it comes to getting caught up in the thread, I'd follow what Ded said, and I'd also throw in Hound55's posts as well.

And yes, I'd love to have War-Pulse back in the game, though it may be hard to pick up where he left off, as Njall is not in this game and Forsaken has only been mentioned. We had to basically do a full on reboot when the old board died.

Alright, I'll rewrite my bio up and start him fresh. Last I checked he had just killed three old buddies of his from old mercenary days in the heart of Lost Haven. We can just pull out the Njalll and Forsaken business and still label him as a mercenary.
