Most in Brain Burst probably believe that Shizuka has uninstalled and retired from the game seeing as she hasn't gotten on it in the last three years. This fortunately is untrue, though she doesn't know why she can't seem to push herself to delete it. Maybe it was all the memories they held of her brother and the last thing she wanted to do was purposely forget him or maybe it was the guilt from thinking it was her fault. If she hadn't gotten to level nine, if she hadn't been a huge target than none of this would have happened. Her brother died because of that crash and nothing could change that no matter how much she wanted to. It was her fault. If it hadn't been for her brother's Guardian than she would have been challenged while completely injured in a coma. Mamorimasu worked hard to keep her safe but the coma wouldn't shake so he went to seek help. He risked it all asking for the from an unlikely source help, feeling that the person was trustworthy enough to know the Black Kings identity and not take advantage of that knowledge. Failing and having Brain Burst uninstalled before she ever woke up maybe that would have been better in her opinion upon awaking. Instead, they were the winners and their attacker couldn't remember why they had done what they did, at least not completely which made a perfect insanity plea. Others tried to attack later but between her two protectors, there was no chance.
Shizuka is slightly afraid to stand back up and jump into the Accelerated World again. It makes her worry that her brother meant nothing but she is slowly coming to terms with what happened and the call of that World has slowly started to grip her again after all these years.

Fun Facts:

• Shizuka is mute in the real world. The only way she can speak to another is a wired connection or a Burst Link where her Avatar is in control. It is this reason that Brain Burst is so alluring to her because it gives her a voice.
• Her brother was a twin.
• Her brother was also the one that gave her Brain Burst and never cared about her rising level as he wanted to support her if he couldn't protect her any longer
• Loves the rain
• Actually should need glasses but her Neuro Linker corrects that problem. When she takes it off she must use glasses.
• Mamorimasu(her brother's Guardian the Emerald Shock) and the person Mamori trusted are the only people that know her real identity and that she is still able to be a part of Brain Burst and he has subtly been helping in trying to get her to return.
• Her father is the CEO of a major software development company and her mother is the head engineer and designer of the latest hardware
• Her parents have shunned Shizuka from basically the beginning. Once they found out she would never speak to take over for one of her parents as a protege, they turned all their effort on Aishi to take over for one of them and looking in to possibly another child.
• After Aishi's death, Shizuka was blamed and kicked out of her own home with practically nothing, Mamorimasu's family gave her a game testing job in their company and help creating games. She has a side projects that she tells no one about but it pays well.
• Shizuka has never used her wings in Brain Burst. The wings were gifted to her after her Brain Burst days and she won't speak of the reason why they were gifted since this is a very hidden secret of hers.
• Shizuka's Dualing Avatar does have hands for close combat but turn into the guns in the pic at will.

Shizuka must take a good amount of damage before she can unleash her special. It is kind of a one for all deal and the damage her special brings is pure destruction. It is not a power is is very proud of but it reflex a lot about her life and who she is.

Personality: Kazuki is overall just a normal, nice guy. He often helps others who need it and have been called a 'pushover' many times. He also believes in the goodness of humanity. He believes that everyone has at least some good in them and always gives others the benefit of the doubt. This naivety has allowed many to take advantage of him, not that he minds or perhaps he is not aware of it.

On the other hand, his personality is not like that in game. He is more aggressive and willing to fight for burst points. While he is still merciful and reluctant to bring a player to zero, he is not a total wimp. But that might be because he has a reason for staying in the game and needing the burst points. So if he had to take another player down to stay in the game, he will. He may have a heavy heart about it, but he will.

Biography: Kazuki lived with his mother and his grandmother after his father passed away in a work-related accident. They were not well of because his father was the bread-winner of the family and Kazuki's mother was now forced to take odd-jobs to try to keep food on the table. Kazuki wanted to help but his mother told him that school should be his priority first. So he attended high school like a normal kid while doing his best to help around the house with chores whenever possible.

Kazuki had a childhood friend named, Saizo, who really helped cheered him up throughout all of this. It was because him that he was able to stay positive.

One day, Saizo invited Kazuki over to his house and seemed pretty excited. He was excited about this game his upperclassman in his sport team introduced him to, called Brain Burst. He was making a really big deal out of it and Kazuki didn't understand why. He says that it's something that has to be experienced to understand anyways. So he installed the game for Kazuki and it was pretty cool. He became the Jade Guardian. Saizo taught him the basics and the two eventually joined the Greens.

It was really fun, until Kazuki saw for himself what happened when someone's burst points reaches zero. Saizo had lost all of his burst points and from that point on, it was like he didn't even remember the game. No matter what Kazuki did or said, he really didn't remember. He couldn't even try to reinstall it into him. It just didn't work.

Eventually, they began to drift apart. But Kazuki kept playing. He needed those burst points to stay ahead. He needed it to help him on his tests so he can get a scholarship to a good university and eventually get a good job to take care of his family.

Other: He likes to tend his cacti in his free time.

Rei's Dueling avatar can freely change between walking and running on either two or four legs, it favor speed, Agility and mobility. It's designed for close range heavy ordinance meaning large powerful blasts delivered at close range contradictory to what many may first assume. And his attacks often come off as near suicidal,

His Final Burst is called: Calamity Star, and is a quite literally a Nova Blast, eliminating near anything within a wide area from where he unleashes it.

Personality:
Rei is a curious person who like to both test and experience new things, it all started when he realized that because of his built none could really tell what gender he was at first glance. This opened up a whole world of curious possibilities and getting the chance to explore life from multiple aspects have so far proven to be a great experience for Rei.

Rei is rather playful for the most part, and don't usually take much seriously. Usually he's quite a happy go lucky person who just try out anything who he fancy at the moment and dismiss things that don't seem to stick. Yet he's usually kind even if he like to keep up the illusion of his friends not knowing what he is.

Bio:

Rei has always been quite feminine looking for a guy, and even in early stages in his life been mistaken for either being a girl instead of a boy, eventually he decided to make it his thing. To just not correct people and see how it went... it got quite curious the longer he continued and eventually just kept doing it. Getting compliments from both boys and girls is quite fun to him which is why he keeps doing it.

Besides hanging out with friends on his free time in whatever world they choose, he also play games solo and occasionally help his mother out in her store. His life didn't really change much when he became a burst linker, at first it was his a friend of his that invited him, and they played together for a time. Yet after a time they started perusing different goals in game even if they somewhat still was connected in real life.

Contradictory to what many believe Reique or 'Rei' is a male who are often mistaken for a Tomboyish girl. And quite frankly is not opposed to what anyone really thinks about him, he attend all kinds of activities and wears all kinds of clothing depending on what people he spend time with. Only his closest friends know what gender he really is, others have to guess and Rei likes nothing more than to keep others in the dark about it. He have no specific reason above his own curiosity over what people will believe he is and how they will treat him accordingly.

In his own world he simply thinks of it as a way to both add and strip away the attributes of gender prejudice. If none can really place his gender they can't treat him specially because of it, they have to either pick one to cope with it or simply live with the fact that they could be totally wrong.

Whenever Rei go off to the virtual world he jumps into a rather busty anthro bear form, just because he find it quite curious what reactions it brings from others.

Personality: Hiraku is a person who is rather outgoing and friendly. His alignment in Brain Burst comes from his mixed desires of wanting to overcome obstacles with tact and skill and wanting to protect those he cares about. His emotions can be volatile, and he is known to have sudden depressive slumps, where he doesn't leave his house for days. If one manages to get into contact with him during these slumps, they would see that instead of being opinionated and strong-willed he is much more apathetic and easy to sway.

Other: He is known to write quite often, both in and out of slumps. Out of emotional slumps, he writes stories. In them, he writes music and music lyrics.
