@BCTheEntity@Zendrelax Choosing Sparla for the role. I don't like choosing between characters, but there is only one slot in this role. I realize everyone put work in and I appreciate that, but in the end I have to go with the sheet that fits the role. Basically, Zendrelax's sheet had a lot more to work with in terms of history detail and I like the idea of Magog being a fallen hero of the Company, with his tusks carved into scrimshaw and mounted on the banner as a reminder that he killed twenty on his way out. By the same token Sparla isn't merely a terrifying character, she's set an entire bunny city aflame for daring to stand in her way. I feel that fits the narrative and the character role.

Thank you very much. I've got to admit, it does feel kinda crappy since I'm blocking someone else from getting in, but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes.

No worries, man. It does suck pretty hard. I probably sound disingenuous, because of the way it all turned out, and the total radio silence over the past half-a-day, but I do mean it honestly. Wish I had a better olive branch.

@Zendrelax It's fine. You did claim the role first, and you certainly discussed your character's past and such more than I did. Honestly, after a bit of thought, I'm rather more upset that I wasn't told there was already somebody lined up to join as the witch until after I completed my sheet despite rather ample opportunity to do so on various fronts. In fairness, Hank is right that I could have looked at the interest thread to learn about that, but it's wasted time on my part either way, and I'm not convinced everybody ought to check the interest threads every time for information of that sort on the off-chance that there's an important detail like that in it.

@Hank Yes, I'm aware of that. It is, however, polite to do so if a clash would occur and the individuals involved aren't aware, so far as I can see.

Bel-Gond's opinions on his fellow chosen

Dakgu:Bel-Gond doesn't really have much to do with Dakgu due to him not being a warg rider, but he has been with the Nar Mat Kordh-Ishi for long enough to develop a healthy respect for their company's 'bounty hunter'.

Narzul and Gahrul: Indifferent. Bel-Gond doesn't mind the pair, but Gahrul is hard to make friends with to begin with and Narzul is a spiteful little jerk.

Sparla the Night-Witch: Respect and a small amount of fear; One does not get on the bad side of the very dangerous magic user and stay there for long after all.

Morgan: Bel-Gond actually likes Morgan, relating to him greatly due to their somewhat isolation from the other orcs due to their upbringing. However, he would claim Morgan as a friend due to the latters distance from everyone else.

Felgratz: Doesn't actually know all that well personally, but suspects good things from the so called 'Knight'.

Moxis: Out of all the chosen, Bel-Gond knows Moxis the best out of anyone due to the fact that they both joined the company at around the same point six years years ago and served alongside each other in the Pikes. While they take opposite approaches to battle, Bel-Gond has a great deal of respect for the work that Moxis does and the effectiveness of his tactics. On a personal level however, Bel-Gond does not like the 'Savage' orc due to a conflict of culture and personality.

I like the idea behind this, damn interesting. Just a clarification... was the daughter of the late ruler of the Cerilian throne captured by the orc mercenaries, or did she go with them willingily? Or was this left out (if it was, because I can't find much detail on it) for one who would roleplay her to flesh it out themselves?

I will be setting up in the first post what precisely happens, but yeah, she'd be their employer, not their prisoner.

So I hear others have asked questions about the heiress position, but not made any direct claims to the role. That said, I'm making a direct claim to the role now. Gotta get an actually viable character into play ASAP my chum-panions.
