[OOC] Overthrow the Magical Girls

The time has arrived, to overthrow the Magical Girl Dystopia that has developed due to the overpopulation of magical girls in the world. Magical Girls used to be merely figures of legend and comics but more and more sightings and incidents lead to rather strong rumors of their existence, then 'that' day came. Magical Girls collected together and made their presence known to the world officially as the Magical Girl World Defense Force. With their combined might and power the Magical Girls were able to defeat all threats that tried to rise its ugly head with quick and decisive work. There was only one major force that nearly destroyed the planet which was the Defense Forces original enemy, Nerosis. After the defeat of Nerosis in order to protect the world the Magical Girl World Defense Force started to create strict rules in order to prevent negative energies from collecting in large amounts usable by evil forces, essentially starting a sort of Magical Girl dystopia. This all started 4 years ago.

The world is forced by the magical girls be a peaceful one, which is all well and good but sometimes magical girl values can be pushed a little too much on the population. Magical girls are worshiped as idols and in extreme cases even deities in certain parts of the world. Magical girls are protectors, guardsmen against evil, but their their vigil can also be oppressive, limiting the freedoms of many populations. Abuse of power has also been on the rise with certain magical girls taking whatever they want, whenever they want since no one has the power to stop them. While there are many who praise the magical girls for creating a paradise, there are those who consider magical girls as a menace to the world who have lost their original purpose as protectors of humanity to enslavers of humanity.

A resistance group has formed against the Magical Girl World Defense Force, comprised of various individuals with magical powers from many different sources, they have decided to take a stand against the magical girl regime. This resistance force, code-named World's End by the magical girls, was made possible by the discovery of an ancient artifact that was able to endow the wielder with the power to lock away a magical girl's power. In order for the artifact to take affect, the Magical Girl must first be defeated in combat, to weaken her to a point where her power can be drained away. With this artifact in their possession, World's End now has the ability to reduce the magical girl population, while returning the girl back to her original, non-magical state.

World's End, in order to keep from being discovered tends to avoid meetings as much as possible. The way the members keep in touch is through various sources, a favorite being coded text-messages. The resistance community does have smaller cells that tend to meet together more regularly but keeping secret does have its price to pay. The resistance is growing and currently the main strategy of the group is guerilla tactics, striking fast to bring down the magical girl dynasty one piece at a time.

Appearance: wears a plaid shirt, blue jeans, ragged loafers. Small yet broad, skinny but all muscle, large blue eyes and short black hair.
Occupation: physical trainer
Reasons for joining World's End: Hate's people who believe that magic is more important and better than physical strength.
Bio: Born to a family of magic loving people, he grew to hate all magic and the magic girls who ruled him , and when he noticed they seemed to have no muscle on them he decided to go the way they did not, as it showed he did not want to be a magic man, and so he became as strong as possible.

For years he would go on to try a life as a boxer, mma fighter, kickboxer, and even an underground fighter. But every time he would be told that he just needed to trust the magic girls to take care of him, and quit wasting his time trying to learn to fend for himself, and as more and more people told him they didn't think he should try to be the person he was trying to be, less and less people cared about him knocking heads, or splitting someones nose, and slowly he lost all the pay he could get from a fight.

Finally he settled to help people get in shape, and thought it was degrading he, still felt it was his little way of rebelling. One day, upon giving his own father a free trail, he heard him talk about someone trying to fight off the magic girls. So after talking to a few connections he had made, he found his way to the world's end, and begged them to let him join. He Explained how willing he was, and they accepted him in.

Alter-Ego: iron fist

chi-thought he hates magic he actually uses it in the form of chi which helps him in pounding through things

Iron bone training- when going to a kung fu master for training, he was put through grueling exercises making his feet and hands about as strong as iron.

the iron fist- a pair of metal mma grappling gloves that guy prefers to wear when fighting.

multi-tool- and eskrima fighting tick that can flip into an Irish fighting stick and a boe staff, but he has little to no training in all three weapons

Reasons for joining World's End: Yudo believes that the influence of the magical girls has become too large and thus they domination must be ended before the world takes things into its own hands and throws an evil power larger than them to balance things out, possibly wiping out the rest of mankind at the same time.
Bio: Yudo does not know who he is all he knows is that he woke up in a bed being tended to by elderly man. It turns out that Yudo had somehow wandered onto the man and his wife's farm before passing out. Yudo not knowing who he was and only knowing a piece of his name knew that he could not uncover such things without a degree of patience. Luckily the couple were nice and were willing to house him, if he did some work around the farm. after a few months and no change in his memories Yudo decided that he could not stay at the farm forever, and so he bid the couple farewell and travelled to the city. On arrival in the city Yudo found a bedroom being rented out by a single mother with a daughter. As he was looking for jobs he learned more and more about the state of the world and became increasingly worried about it. He found a job as a simple convenience store clerk in which he could be seen as normal but also keep an ear to the ground to any gossip that could lead him in any way to a solution for the worlds imbalance. He found a possible solution in the group Worlds End, and though he knew that there would be some evil in such an organization opposed to such a force of good, he also knew that he would rather such segmented evil than something much bigger.

Swordsman: Yudo is an extraordinary swordsman, any weapon that can be used in much the same way, put in his hands, is just as dangerous for his enemies. Though any weapons beyond that you would have better luck with a toddler using it.

Yudo is armed with three swords, one of which he had with him when he had come to with no memories. This sword is a rusted katana, so rusted that Yudo has not been able to remove it from its sheath. The other two swords in his arsenal are a simple longsword and
The Kusanagi: A swords revered for its magical ability to allow the wielder to control wind.This sword was found and given to him by The organization, Worlds End.

Now I was asked about Nerosis so here is more information on that Organization. Nerosis was in fact the reason for the Magical Girl World Defense Force to be formed in the first place. A vast organization where monsters and magically adept humans worked together in order to bring ruin to the world. Nerosis, a slight misspelling of neurosis, brought pain, suffering, and a lot of distress to the world with their maniacal schemes. Due to their power and influence, magical girls felt they had no choice but to band together to defeat Nerosis. Nerosis had a great plan to destroy the world and rule over its forsaken husk that involved a magical talisman with a direct connection to a god of destruction called Vindictus whose malicious energy was being transferred through the talisman into the atmosphere, poisoning the planet with his very essence. With a collective strike the Magical Girls World Defense Force managed to destroy the talisman and stop Nerosis's scheme. The talisman could not be fully destroyed but was split into six pieces, two of which are unaccounted for by the magical girls.

Nerosis was a large organization but their best plan was smashed to pieces and the remnants were either chased down or simply faded into the background. No one knows if Nerosis and the dark god Vindictus are truly gone or not but as long as the magical girls are in control there is little chance of them reforming. Nerosis not only tinkered with the dark god's magics but tried to apply those principles to technology as well with mixed results. Technological and magical augments of people and creatures were not uncommon tactics used by Nerosis in order to create powerful soldiers and assassins. It is unknown how far their experimentation got but there were rumors of another catastrophic plot involving the augmentation of a mythical beast of great power but was disbanded when the creature proved unable to be controlled. There are many secrets that Nerosis kept under wraps which are still to be discovered or will stay buried for the rest of time.

Reason for joining World's End: Freedom in the pursuit of science, to have some field testing with her 'experiments'.

Bio: Even in childhood, Marisol Scully was enamored with science. She didn't think that magical girls were impressive or awesome. She saw them as cheats. They were taking the easy route, using another's power for their own benefit while making no effort to repay the lending of such power. They didn't earn their abilities or powers, it was given to them by an outside source. She despised magical girls. So what a surprise it when she started working as a scientist in a company controlled by several members of the Magical Girl Defense Force. Then again it wasn't a surprise at all when the higher ups discovered she was conducting secret 'experiments' on some of the more naive magical girls, knocking them out and testing on them deep into the night. She was almost immediately fired, but to ensure that Marisol didn't spread the news, they paid her off in increments, ones that still flow into her bank account. She still conducted her 'experiments', though it was harder to find magical girls who were foolish enough to try and be friends with her. What was she working on that terrified the Magical Girl Defense Force and got her put out of a job? She was experimenting in the removal/transfer of magical power from a magical girl to non magical objects. She is still trying to develop a transfer method for between two people. But just the speculation of the latter caused her being fired. [The M.G.D.F. read some of her notes illegaly from her home]
She is both bitter and angry at the MGDF for the obstruction of her pursuit of science and for being scared of a simple idea, a theory. She hides her emotions well, easily tricking naive magical girls to 'be her friend and 'sleep over at her house'.She makes other friends, the genuine ones as one normally would, though she is always a bit eccentric.

Alter Ego: Scientific Gal: a parody of the standard magical girl

Powers:
Scientific magic transfer: using a apparatus she developed and designed, she can drain off small to medium amouts of magic and imbue an object with that power. The effects depend of the object used.
Magic artifacts: remnants of her previous 'experiments' [All these have only small magic capacity being of her earlier experiments.She always carries at least two of them:

1.a small pocket knife that can become a short sword
2. A pencil that can create small animate beings made out of graphite
3. A paper fan that can create gusts of wind once a day
4. A bracelet that projects a magic shield for the user
5. a makeup compact that can change the appearance of the user minorly through illusions.

Bio: Danny was one of the people kidnapped and experimented on by Nerosis. After months of brainwashing and experimentation he was to be used as an assassin.Luckily for him just before his first mission the magical girls defeated Nerosis and since he hadn't done anything illegal, he was simply ordered into therapy. While this got him mostly back to normal, he still despises magical girls even though he knows it's at least partly due to the brainwashing.
He took the job as zoo-keeper in order to get a wide array of animal form. Before he was recruited by World's End, it wasn't unusual for magical girls to be attacked by wild animals, but without the artifact and allies he ended up losing more times then not. Eventually a former Nerosis member managed to track him down and while Danny naturally isn't too happy with the evil Organization, he was eventually convinced to join World's End

Revenge against the Magical Girl World Defense Force

Bio:
The Magical Girls revealed themselves to the public around the time Wince finished his studies, that four or so years ago. At that time he didn't give much thought about them, what with spending his time looking for a decent job that will earn him enough to live while still giving him time to continue worshipping a certain character from a certain manga he was deeply into.

Perhaps what really helped Wince wake up to see the Magical Girls was when there were more and more articles on the internet about how his fellow 'worshippers', while they may have been 'worshipping' different characters from different media, were 'captured' and 'exterminated' by these Magical Girls. It turned out they weren't actually killed but rather confiscated of their prized goods and monitored under the crime of being 'super creepy and giving negative impact on the society'. These hunts increased dramatically as the Girls conquered the world bit by bit, though Wince hadn't risen up to them just yet; it still seemed surreal and felt like one of those 'there is no way it is going to happen to me' situations. That is, until the Magical Girls crossed a line they should never have.

With the news of his manga author prematurely ending the manga series due to a 'request' by the Magical Girl World Defense Force for the unnecessary amounts of fan service and possible negativity to the society, Wince decided enough was enough. He wasn't dumb though, it wasn't as if he would challenge such a fearsomely large opponent by himself, so he went back to his parents' place hoping to get their support and perhaps find others they can trust to aid him. It was here that he learnt that his father was in fact one of the few survivours from a certain group which had fought the Magical Girls in the past. He had been living in fear which took Wince many tries for him to spill out everything, and also told him of a resistance that may or may not be forming. With that he also handed down a certain brooch-like accessory, the only piece of anti-Magical Girl technology his father was able to salvage.

He may be a terrible fighter, but he can certainly carry anything and anyone of any amount at once.

Abilities and Important Items:
Bottomless Bag - thanks to The Keystone, Wince can utilize a bottomless bag. It can carry anything as long as it fits the mouth of the container the portal is placed on. The 'inside' of the Bottomless Bag is always in a state of stasis; that is, it is a place not governed by time. Only the one carrying the Keystone, can utilize the same magic as the Keystone or immune to this magic can move freely within the Bottomless Bag.

The Keystone - A round brooch-like accessory with a violet hue around hard-metal frame. A hand-me-down from Wince's father and a remnent of Nerosis technology; it is used to embed or dismantle a portal on any given container. There can only be one portal active at any time. Usually pinned to Wince's chest. Named by Wince.

The Luggage - A modified suitcase; the top half of this dark, segmented case is plated with hard metal as thick as an average thumb. There's a single latch that holds the suitcase closed, also made of the same metal and a soft grip handle. Also named by Wince. On that note Wince has a habit of naming every inanimate objects of his possession.

Trained Stamina - In order to carry around The Luggage as well as personal health care, Wince does daily exercises and marathons. This allowed him to have a fit body and endurance for running and walking even while carrying The Luggage.

Marisol Scully seems like a fun character, gotta love those mad scientist types. Ya I don't think those powers are OP, you are potentially fighting against some ridiculously powerful magical girls after all and anyone who has watched these kind of shows know just how OP they can be. Accepted

Danny's profile does seem a little short. Nothing necessarily wrong with the profile itself just could use a little more umph. Mostly just me being picky so while I will suggest that you expand it some more I will not deny the character. Accepted

Wincester Rind is developed very well and I could not help but laugh at that awesome back story. An enraged otaku is a frightful thing indeed. Well made, gave me a few laughs and just a very interesting character overall that I personally want to see in action. Most definitely accepted plus an interesting set of powers as well.

Reasons for joining World's End: To bring down the Magical Girl World Defense Force and get back her ‘real’ younger sister by making her a normal girl again

Bio: Alexandra was a normal older sister for most of her life. Born 4 years after Alexandra, Erika was a typical abnoxious child, constantly getting herself in trouble but Alexandra had always been there to rescue her. Alexandra defended her from bullies, tutored her when she needed help, and even went shopping together with her, despite their age difference the two got along fabulously as Alexandra tried her best to support Erika. This typical older sister relationship would change drastically when Alexandra was 16 years old and in high school.

Of course Alexandra had many more activities and duties which lessened their time together but it was more than that, Alexandra could feel her sister becoming more secretive and less inclined to go to her for help. At first Alexandra just thought that her 12 year old sister had decided to start facing life on her own and take charge and was quite happy for her, but she could not help the worried look on Erika’s face at times, and often it was when she was looking at her. Something was up and Alexandra was determined to figure out what was troubling her, since confronting her directly no longer worked Alexandra decided to shadow her sister one day. That was when she discovered her younger sister’s secret.

Alexandra watched in awe and wonder as her sister transformed in front of her eyes in order to combat an evil minion of a malevolent force called Wonderlust. Erika had been transformed into Stardust, a magical girl of growing power that used cosmic rays and star power through her magic. The minion, who was called Balthezar, saw Alexandra and commented about a lost mouse entering their battlefield. When Erika saw her sister she accidently let slip who she was, which gave Balthezar the bright idea of kidnapping Alexandra, before she knew what was happening the deed was already done in order to cause Erika as much pain as possible.

Brainwashed by Wonderlust and given immense power, Alexandra was pitted against her sister time and time again to wear her down. For a while the psychological warfare seemed to be working but they did not count on Erika’s determination to bring her older sister back to normal. What at first was a great advantage to Wonderlust turned into a detriment as Erika’s feelings for her sister fueled her powers higher than they thought possible and with some help from a few neighboring magical girls Wonderlust was destroyed and Alexandra was saved from their control.

With the menace gone things went back to normal for a brief time as the threat was averted; however, two years later was when Nerosis rose into the limelight to destroy the world. With another threat on Alexandra could feel Erika getting worried, since Erika was the magical girl she could now defend her older sister. Afraid of losing her again, Erika did everything in her power to keep Alexandra safe, to the point of oppression. The Magical Girl World Defense Force was formed and Erika eagerly joined it, announcing her presence to the world along with many other magical girls.

From that moment on everything changed, Alexandra is constantly checked upon by Erika to make sure no evil has gotten a hold of her. Like a helicopter mother, Erika seems to be always nearby and constantly checking in which drives Alexandra absolutely crazy, so she moved out as soon as she could to get a job which at least gave her some space from her sister. Of course being the older sister of a now well-known magical girl comes with its consequences too, plenty of Stardust’s fans try to use Alexandra as a middle man for them, some even going as far as to ask Alexandra on a date just so they could meet Erika who was sure to check them out to see if they were fit for her sister or not.

Tired with the world's state of affairs and her sister’s drastic influence on her life, Alexandra found herself wishing for a way to make things as they were, before her sister got her powers. She even wondered if it was possible to regain the power she had as a member of Wonderlust but there was little she could do on her own. Having started her own antique shop after getting a business degree, Alexandra saw many things during her times running the store and then a certain fragment of a talisman managed to find its way into her shop. This was of course a sixth of the talisman used by Nerosis to spread the dark god Vindictus’s magic over the entire Earth.

Not knowing what it was, Alexandra bought it to try and resell it but when she touched the talisman the residual dark energies in the fragment entered her body and fused with the magics left behind by her time under Wonderlust’s control. The energies fused and endowed her with new powers, the person who sold her the artifact had been affiliated with World’s End and left her a note, giving her access to the World’s End network. Realizing this was her chance to set things right, Alexandra quickly joined the organization in order to bring sanity back to the world.

Alter-Ego: Devil Tamer
When she becomes her alter-ego her features change drastically which is very helpful in keeping her identity a secret.

Powers:

Magical Golems: Her Devil Tamer persona is able to construct magical golems out of nearby materials in order to do battle with the magical girls. The golems abilities vary greatly depending on what they were made of, for example a golem created out of water would be able to shoot streams of water, be quite malleable, have great flexability, and be weak to thunder based attacks. Stone golems tend to be very hard to damage physically, have great power, but tend to be on the slow and heavy side.

Mythical Beast Contracts: This is where her alter-ego name comes from. The Devil Tamer is able to form contracts with mythical beasts, for example the augmented creatures created by the later Nerosis can be targeted for these contracts. When a contract is formed between Alexandra and a creature she can then invoke the contract, which adds the creatures powers and skills to Alexandra. Whenever she uses a contract her clothing changes based on the creature used for the contract, such as gaining fiery feathers if for instance she used the contract of a Fiery Pheonix. Along with the wardrobe change she would also gain fire based abilities similar to what a Pheonix would actually use in combat.

When using a mythical beast contract Alexandra becomes unable to control her magical golems, usually meaning they just stop moving, though on rare occasions they also just go berserk on their own, putting anyone and anything in the area in danger.

Current contracts are:

The Unicorn: A contract that focuses on speed. Devil Tamer gains a white horse tail from the small of her back and a silver horn on her forehead. Her boots also become diamond hard like a unicorn’s hoofs. Her speed, kicking power, and horn all help increase her combat prowess on the battlefield, allowing her to strike hard and fast.

Jorogumo the Spider: Her clothing turns black, she gains 4 extra spider limbs that sprout from her back and she gains the ability to use webbing. This contract is focused on agility and flexibility, being able to outwit and out maneuver the enemy while slowing them down with webbing.

Byakko the White Tiger: Her clothing changes to white fur pelts with black stripes, complete with razor sharp claws on her hands. This contract is focused more on power and ferocity to rip apart her enemies.

It will be but manapool1, despite what you added to your character sheet it still does not look professional. This may not be an advanced roleplay but at the casual level I still expect proper punctuation and capitalization for one thing. From your posts it seems that you lack the drive to make sure your posts are enjoyable to read, if you start posting IC like you have been frankly there will be people, like myself, who will not want to read your posts because of grammer, punctuation, capitalization, and generally looking like it was just slapped down without much thought or effort. A casual roleplay has higher standards than free and unfortunately you have not met them so I will have to deny your character's acceptance into the roleplay. Sorry but that is the way it has to be.
