I'm trying my best. The beginning of my year will suck because I am signing the papers with him in January.

After that though, it will truly be over and hopefully my heart will move on completely so I don't have crying/bad days anymore. I am staying strong and looking at the good so I can heal and move forward

@rocketrobie2You going to try and get FF 15 for christmas? or the Last Guardian? These are long-awaited games that have been in development for a long, long time(the last guardian for exceptionally longer, I think I was still in middle school when I first heard about it), and it's kinda funny they're both coming out in the same year.

@Raijinslayer The last guardian looks pretty cool but Final Fantasy doesn't really tickle my fancy if I'm being honest. I looks really nice but the gameplay doesn't really seem up my ally though I've never actually given any FF a go before so I might try to snag a copy of it if I find it on sale or something (though I kinda doubt it'll be on sale anytime soon considering how good people are saying it is.)

Last Guardian though looks really neat though I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it or not. To be honest right now I'm gunning for getting the new pokemon, Dragonball Xneoverse 2 and Skyrim Remastered which is already quite a few games.

@rocketrobie2I've never played a final fantasy either, but it intriques me enough to give it a shot. Last Guardian is all the hype, but I'm not sure if I'd rather play it or FF. Both are new territory for me, with FF beoing familiar because it's about as JRPG as you can get.

@Raijinslayer That the turn off for me with FF, I'm not a huge fan of most JRPGs. Its weird 'cause everything that makes up an JRPG seems like fun to me but The overall idea of it just doesn't intrigue me.

@rocketrobie2I like the story of JRPGs most of the time, as they tend to feel more fleshed out then something like Skyrim, which seems rather barebones when you compare it to the world of Oblivion, the game that came just before it.

@Raijinslayer Sadly I've never played anything before Skyrim (Except for Daggerfall but I can never get very far through that.) but I can mostly agree with you there, there seems to be a lot more story to JRPG type games.

@rocketrobie2Yeah, I think because Amercian RPG's focus more on you being a Player, than you controlling a character, which leads to some wrinkles when trying to make a good narrative(Fallout 4 with the whole Shaun situation being a prime example of what happens when narrative clashes with how your game is structured).

@Raijinslayer I completely agree which really sucks for me 'cause I love really good stories but I also really love being able to make a character of my own and place them in the world.

@rocketrobie2Yeah, it's really hard to do, though Bioware games come about as close as I think anyone can really get with their system, which isn't perfect, but works for the style it has. . . and not in a game like Fallout. One of my biggest complaints with that game is how they messed with the dialogue from the last game with the wheel. Sarcastic option was funny, but also really irritating when it turned into you into a complete asshole(like whenever you used it to talk to Nick).

@rocketrobie2Yeah, plus I missed when new dialogue became available depending on you skills, which I only saw once in my play-through, and that was in the far harbor DLC.

@Raijinslayer I know! There was so much cool stuff in Fallout 4 but there just didn't seeme to be as much depth to stuff because of how limiting the dialogue trees (or I guess bushes) are.

@rocketrobie2Yeah. Only other fallout game I've played was New Vegas, and that was pretty fun and the story was really nice. Only thing I didn't like was the Cazadors. Seriously, fuck those things to hell.

Those things are like mini flying deathclaws.

One thing I do like about Fallout 4 is the mods on console. I don't got a fancy shmancy PC so I get all of my games for console and I've always wanted to dabble in mods for Bethesda games.
