I just had a really random thought and for some reason I want to share it.

We know that there use to be a Pink Diamond and many people think it is Rose but I just thought of something else. What if it really isn't Rose at all but someone we do know....

What if...

Pink Diamond is corrupted.

What if....

Pink Diamond is Lion!

It is kind of a crazy thought but if anyone could keep their mind while being corrupted or at least most of their mind, I would think it would be a Diamond. Idk, it was a random thought but I kind of feel like that is why Rose kept Lion a secret. Maybe Pink Diamond was a huge secret all together and that is why Rose took up the mantle as leader. *shrugs* Plus there could be a gem under all that mane....lol

I know this is probably totally wrong XD

Could be, could be. I certainly like this one more than the "Rose is Pink Diamond" theory.

A. She doesn't look like a diamond.
B. Her gem is not diamond shaped.
C. Her name is Rose QUARTZ.
This show could always make me eat my words, though.

Only the color of Rose's Gem has even made me wonder if she might be Pink Diamond but as you said. Her gem isn't diamond shaped like the other diamonds and I would think they would look somewhat the same.
Her name is Rose Quartz and she seems to have the battle sense of a Quartz.
Also, the only reason I never looked at Lion as Pink Diamond is because I thought corrupted gems were grown corrupted and not turned corrupted which has opened up more thoughts.

Lion on the other hand seems to have A LOT of power. They are mysterious, playful and kind but also can be serious and forceful when it is for the greater good of who they are helping.
When Steven wants to know more about his mom, Lion makes sure it happens even when Steven was fighting which reminds me a bit on how we have seen most of the diamonds act so far. Yes, Lion was nicer about it but it was still a thing of "You Will Do What I Want" vibe.

We have never seen under his mane and if you have watched Pearl than we have seen that she can pull things out of her gem or put things in. Maybe Lion is a corrupted Pearl instead of Pink Diamond but I still like the Pink Diamond way better then a Pink Pearl.

Welp, false alarm everyone. Not completely but it wasn't as bad as I think we were all speculating it'd be. It's pretty much confirmed now that Amethyst is defective to some extent, but that's not really the focus here, today. Amethyst is facing the classic "accomplished rookie gets upstaged and surpassed by more accomplished, newer rookie, and doesn't really know how to handle it". Amethyst works hard to do what she can, and Steven working and surpassing her only makes her feel worse. They both take out their anger on each other (Ame moreso than steven, but it's a little obvious he's working off stress), lightening the air after a good, old fashioned fight. Amethyst wants to prove Japser, another quartz, wrong, and Steven is doing everything he can to live up to the expectations that were set at Rose's level from the get-go. Amethyst, as young as she is, knows that it's not best to talk about Rose, or Steven replacing her, or anything like that, and admits that bringing up her own similar problems was a bad idea.

It was a good episode.
