The sun had just barely risen, the air was bitterly cold due to the early morning chill and Vosazuhr could not have been happier to walk to the first day of school with a backpack on his back and a pair of headphones in his ears so that he could listen to music without having to bother anyone else with it. For all intents and purposes life was beautiful and Vosa was enjoying every moment of it.
The sun on the meadow is summery warm~
The stag in the forest runs free~
But gathered together to greet the storm~
Tomorrow belongs to me~
The soul of his vessel was somewhat... less enthused about the situation but if the two months of summer holidays had taught Vosa anything it was how to ignore the little ball of egotism and cowardly hatred and enjoy himself. When he had come across John, the little punk had ironically enough actually been attempting a demon summoning ritual of all things; Granted the actually ritual itself was something that had been inspired by the 'hollywood ideal' of demonology and the odds of a demon actually being summoned by it were so slim that the little brat would have been better off becoming a corporate defense lawyer if he wanted to meet demons so badly, but still...
The branch on the linden is leafy and green~
The Rhine gives it's gold to the sea~
But somewhere a glory awaits unseen~
Tomorrow belongs to me~
John had even been a willing host at first. The meek, selfish little prick had wanted to become a demon host in order to go on a supernatural killing spree of quite a large number of kids at his school. Had just about any other demon found the boy, it would have been a match made in hell; When John figured out after a couple of weeks that Vosa had no intention of committing any sort of killing on the human's behalf their relationship went south quickly but by that point it was much, much to late for the little brat to really do anything about it other then whine like an annoying little bitch.
He was currently holding off on eating the little bastard's soul to give him a fair chance of changing his attitude first; Besides, he suspected that John's soul would taste awful. Bitter meekness and self righteous narcissism really could ruin a person after all. If nothing else, Vosa had done a better job of looking after his vessels body then his vessel himself had ever done.
The babe in his cradle is closing his eyes~
The blossom embraces the bee~
But soon says a whisper, arise, arise~
Tomorrow belongs to me~
Tomorrow belongs to me~
Passing through the school gate Vosa found himself smiling brightly, dressed neatly and above all else edger to start this new chapter of his existence fresh!
