The sun had just barely risen, the air was bitterly cold due to the early morning chill and Vosazuhr could not have been happier to walk to the first day of school with a backpack on his back and a pair of headphones in his ears so that he could listen to music without having to bother anyone else with it. For all intents and purposes life was beautiful and Vosa was enjoying every moment of it.

The sun on the meadow is summery warm~
The stag in the forest runs free~
But gathered together to greet the storm~
Tomorrow belongs to me~

The soul of his vessel was somewhat... less enthused about the situation but if the two months of summer holidays had taught Vosa anything it was how to ignore the little ball of egotism and cowardly hatred and enjoy himself. When he had come across John, the little punk had ironically enough actually been attempting a demon summoning ritual of all things; Granted the actually ritual itself was something that had been inspired by the 'hollywood ideal' of demonology and the odds of a demon actually being summoned by it were so slim that the little brat would have been better off becoming a corporate defense lawyer if he wanted to meet demons so badly, but still...

The branch on the linden is leafy and green~
The Rhine gives it's gold to the sea~
But somewhere a glory awaits unseen~
Tomorrow belongs to me~

John had even been a willing host at first. The meek, selfish little prick had wanted to become a demon host in order to go on a supernatural killing spree of quite a large number of kids at his school. Had just about any other demon found the boy, it would have been a match made in hell; When John figured out after a couple of weeks that Vosa had no intention of committing any sort of killing on the human's behalf their relationship went south quickly but by that point it was much, much to late for the little brat to really do anything about it other then whine like an annoying little bitch.

He was currently holding off on eating the little bastard's soul to give him a fair chance of changing his attitude first; Besides, he suspected that John's soul would taste awful. Bitter meekness and self righteous narcissism really could ruin a person after all. If nothing else, Vosa had done a better job of looking after his vessels body then his vessel himself had ever done.

The babe in his cradle is closing his eyes~
The blossom embraces the bee~
But soon says a whisper, arise, arise~
Tomorrow belongs to me~
Tomorrow belongs to me~

Passing through the school gate Vosa found himself smiling brightly, dressed neatly and above all else edger to start this new chapter of his existence fresh!

A few other people were in the courtyard wandering around, mostly teachers and a student here and there. It was quite early after all. Most of the students would still be sleeping at this point on the first day. The only people sitting down was a brunette boy and girl on a bench that was against one of the walls in front of the entrance. The boy obviously knew the girl in some way, leaning back against the wall with his legs crossed and one arm resting on her shoulder. It didn't bother her either. She was slightly slumped over a book on her lap held up by her hands in a slight angle, as if she didn't want anybody else to see it. The boy could see it of course, but paid no mind to the words. He was randomly pointing out pictures and loudly whispering something, but it all sounded like nonsense to anybody else. It was mostly along the lines of "That monster looks cool, amiright?" and "This one looks awesome when fighting!" The book must've been one for supernatural or mythical creatures.

The girl didn't do very much in return to his childish behavior, nodding every few sentences and mumbling something only he seemed to hear. She looked up from her book towards him with squinted eyes after a few minutes. He was slightly surprised by her sudden movements, raising a brow. The girl whispered something to him. "Do you think this school year will be alright? Y'know, with them becoming more active?" The boy frowned, putting his arm down and shifting his eyes to their school bags. One was neatly laying down underneath the bench, and the other looked like it was thrown underneath next to the other.

"Honestly, I don't know," he replied, keeping his voice low. He started to run his fingers through the front spike of his hair, a habit he has gotten when feeling uneasy. His vessel actually did the same, so he has grown to that habit as well. The girl didn't seem to like the action though, smacking his hand away from his head. He frowned.

In a low, hissed tone she snapped at him, "You could at least take the time to get ready for this damn school year. I knew we had to do this bull but how long?! The girl made sure to say this with her head more towards the wall so her face couldn't be seen, the boy sighing and flicking her nose. She made a high-pitched squeak, rubbing her nose and looking back to him slightly pouting. He laughed then motioned back to the book, both of them going silent and reading on.

This is going to be a pain...I SWEAR It will be... Ashtoreth thought while walking up to the destination he was assigned: Caleberry high, he was sent to earth to find a power source and deal with it. But god forbid that being easy. The source could have been disguised as a mortal as well as Ash himself, perhaps even better. Ashtoreth's vessel didn't seem to have a good feeling itself, possibly about going to school, but Ash couldn't have cared less as this meant nothing to him. As he walked down path he saw a few people going through the day as well, a few of them possibly being Angels themselves, or even...Demons... Lets just get this over with so I can go home...,he remarked out loud, without concern for people hearing him as he went to go through the day and find the power source.

A pink high heel clicked against the pavement as Candy stepped out of her car: a brand new, sleek, white Roll's Royce convertible. Fellow student were already staring; through her sunglasses, she waved in return with a wide white grin. The car beeped low as it was locked--top still down, however--and Candy began her strut onto. It didn't take long for her gaggle of girls to find her, asking all about her summer, how beautiful her hair looked, where'd she get the car, and how much taller she was. "Girls, girls, please. Not all at once," Candy laughed as they stepped past the school gate. "It was wonderful, I got it done in Paris, daddy, and it's the heels," she answered as best she could, running her fingers through her long hair.

Choosing the most popular girl in school gave her all the resources she'd need to close in on this power source. Everyone was just dying to talk to her. Agrath paused to look around, smiling to herself. Behind her sunglasses, her eyes grew black in excitement and she sighed happily.

Edit:

Riddley whistled as she stepped out of her beaten up brown Jeep to look at the Rolls Royce parked next to her. What kind of rich brats go here? she thought, though the tone in her head wasn't salty and the goofy grin on her face indicated only amusement. She stuffed her hands in her pockets as she walked toward the school from the parking lot, continuing to whistle happily to herself. As she did, she peered around at the other students. She wasn't surprised when she couldn't find anything out of the ordinary, but still a little disappointed.

She looked up at the building as she approached the school. This was the beginning of her final year in high school, and boy was she ready to be done. She had about a year on the other kids in the senior class, due to her failing sophomore year. But hey! School is difficult when you're moving around and fighting the boogeyman your whole life. Besides, she had a real reason to be at school now that there was supernatural activity going on. She tapped at the small bottle around her neck, mind wandering to all the possibilities day one could have.

Connor crouched, taking the puppies head in his hands, although the dog was nearly full grown, she was still a puppy to him. Her dark brown eyes were loving, and she wriggled, her whole body vibrating with her eagerness. "Coco, You have to stay home today, okay? I can't take you to school. You stay, and watch the house, okay?" He let the beautiful, chocolate lab lick his face, and petted her, smiling and grabbing his pack, he headed out, wwalking towards the school.

It didn't take long, and he soon reached the school grounds, looking about him with the keen eye he had learned through his training. Keeping a hand on the strap of his pack, he leaned against a tree, watching the other students

Kalinda sat atop the roof of the school, amused by the antics of the humans scrambling about to make sure they wouldn't be late. forced to maintain a normal profile, Kali was going to the school as well, but that didn't actually mean she had to be any sort of student. She shook her head, what was the point of going to a school for a quater of your life? it didn't make sense to her, and she would gladly destroy the building, but would would be the fun in that if she couldn't torment a few snotty girls, or prideful boys?

Standing, she walked to the edge of the roof, balancing there, a smile on her face as she thought ont he fun she could have.

Lucidian would look around when hearing the commotion going on. He started to frown as more students would enter. It was getting closer to the start of the school day, but he didn't like it anyway. This would be the second time he got to experience being in a school, the first time almost destroying the school after finding Jennifer - who was still reading beside him - that didn't have as much control over the Seven Deadly Sins that were attached at that time.

First there was a boy walking through the entrance with headphones, a smug look on his face. The boy rolled his eyes, already not liking him. He imagined him like one of those stereotypical rich bullies that would pay other students to do his homework. Another boy came not long after, looking like he was thinking to himself and already hating the day. Now that is what he expected from any other students.

Don't be too happy on the first day cause the rest of the time it'll be total shi- he thought to himself until a horde of brats came rushing around one of those spoiled-looking girls. He could hear what they were saying all the way from the bench, even Jennifer looking up occasionally with a curious and annoyed look. Another girl was trying to enter while tapping a bottle around her neck. It honestly looked suspicious to both of them, having experience with hiding all sorts of things. More people were coming in, a boy waiting in the distance by leaning on a tree. It reminded him of what he was doing. Watching. Waiting.

His eyes were suddenly moved upwards to a girl that was balancing on the edge of the school roof. Now how did she manage to sneak up there, huh? Lucidian thought, but Jennifer would look up from her book. Apparently he said it out loud instead, just in a low voice between them. She tilted her head then pulled out her phone, checking the school mapping system. After a few moments she shoved the phone into his face. The boy made a surprised expression before smirking, noticing the different ways to get in or on the school without having to use the doors.

"I'll remember that next time," he joked while poking at the girl with his elbow.

She sighed, brushing him off and hissing, "Stop being a complete buffoon! You're just going to be getting in trouble the rest of the school year, aren't you?! You should be glad you already know all these subjects or your behavior would bring your grade down." Jen would look back down to her book with a frown, Lucas pouting but continuing on to watch students.

Ashtoreth was lost in thought when a horde of girls rushed past him, it surprised him so much he could have sworn he'd jump straight out of his vessel. "What in the-" Ashtoreth was knocked down by the girls storming along, flat on his back... As I thought, a pain. He thought as he got back up and dusted himself off, there were a few people around who didn't seem to like stomping over others, a boy wearing headphones, one by the tree and two people sitting on a bench, one clearly enjoying the moment just as much as Ash is, I'm glad someone feels the same. Ash walked along and propped himself up against a wall, arms crossed and one foot against the wall behind him. Patiently waiting out his time before doing anything else of any significance.

Riddley paused before entering the school, movement above catching her attention. The young hunter stopped and placed her hands on her hips, watching who she assumed was a student balance up on the roof top. Now that was strange behavior, even for a troublemaker. It looked dangerous. She stood where she was, deciding to watch the student. This stunt could easily go wrong and for all of Riddley's cocky, carefree behavior, she did care for the well being of others. What was the point of being a hunter if you didn't?

"Sorry," Candy called to the boy her flock had run over. "Not sorry," she added, baiting laughs and giggles from the girls around her. She laughed herself as the group continued on into the school. Once inside, they would crowd around her locker--pity on the souls who's lockers were next to hers. It was here where Candy debating asking her questions--if the girls have noticed anything weird happening in the school lately. However, she decided against it; it was the beginning of the school year. She'd have to bide her time.

Despite his headphones that were in his ears going a long way to blocking out the world around him, Vesa did notice a couple of things; Namely, he noticed some kind getting run over by a horde of girls flocking around the topical 'Queen Bee' of the school. Completely ignoring John's dark mutterings in the back of his mind (why torture and murder these girls when it was deeply more satisfying to watch their lives fall apart after school ended and they no longer could coast by life via through popularity?), Vesa calmly walked over to the boy that had been knocked down in order to check up on him.

Scanning through John's memories and finding no name to put to the face (Not surprising since John had a horribly memory for anyone who wasn't on his personal kill list), Vesa frowned a little as he paused his music and removed his headphones, asking politely "Hey, you alright mate?"

Lucidian sighed as the girl rudely 'apologized' to the boy that was run over by the group. He could easily hear it all the way from the bench, also his ears made him feel like some sort of dog with bigger ears for better hearing. It's a little weird to him, but at least he could eavesdrop on people without having to go all the way near them unlike most people. The boy didn't seem to show any care for it though, glancing at Lucas for a few moments before continuing on. Must be thinking about how I'm not enjoying the new school year like him. I wouldn't be surprised if I'm right, he thought with a smirk, watching the boys movements until the other more popular-looking ones walked over to him. It was surprising to him that he was paying attention to people at all, with those headphones and snotty ass look, he still managed to go over to the one that was literally stepped all over and ask if he was alright. A light nudge came from somebody's elbow, Jennifer poking at him to get him out of little trance.

"Yeah yeah, what do you want?" Lucidian asked while looking over to her.

"How are you even controlling yourself to not beat up those girls that run the kid over?" she asked. The book in her hand was gone from neatly placing it back into her backpack (then of course fixing up Luke's backpack so it doesn't look like a weird pile). A smirk formed on her face as he waited for his reply.

He was too busy giving her a dark glare to give an answer before something popped up in his head. "Weeell, maybe 'cause I can get with those chicks 'cause I'm just as hot? I haven't even talked to anybody yet. Just let me be." A toothy grin spread on his face as Jennifer immediately frowned with a smack to the face using her hand. It was true that he was technically one of those cute or popular type of kids (that would get into as much trouble as possible), but she didn't think a girl like that would get close to him hanging out with a girl that still tries to wear outfits similar to school uniforms.

"You really are a pervert," she told him while adjusting herself so she laid on the bench with Lucidian's shoulder as a pillow. He laughed and just let her be there, continuing to stare down any students that entered or just stood out to him.

Ashtoreth was taking out of his thought as someone, possibly a mortal, walked up to his and showed their concern. Well this is surprising. he thought before speaking to the other. I'm fine, just a bit roughed up, that's all. No wonder I don't like places like these y'know? He joked with the stranger a little bit before having to go through the day. Girls in high school am I right? I figured they go after their 'Man' at this rate but sure. He remarked as he stuffed his hands into a pockets and waited for the strangers response. He didn't like this place anymore than some others might but it was nice for Ash to know that some mortals cared about other people than themselves. Anyway, good to meet you. My name is As- Ash covered his mistake up with a fake cough. Oh, sorry. My name is Eric. Ash stretched out a hand to shake the strangers. And would eventually put it back in his pocket if he denied.

Tires squeal and rubber burns, he is late again. Well for the first time this year but that is not the point, chances are it will hardly be the last time he is late and making a bad first impression does not help his chances of avoiding trouble for it in future. Even if his winning smile and charming personality is normally enough to get him out of most trouble with little more than a smack on the wrist. Music can clearly be heard from within his car, even with the windows rolled up as he pulls into the carpark near a pristine Rolls Royce and a not so pristine Jeep.

Yeah, I get it
You're an outcast
Always under attack
Always coming in last
Bringing up the past
No one owes you anything
I think you need a shotgun blast
A kick in the ass
So paranoid
Watch your back!

youtu.be/WGt-8adyabk?t=20s

He kicks his door open with one of his bootclad feet and climbs out of his car. He stands to his full height and stretches out, his biceps and chest flexing impressivly. He lets out a low grown as he stretches, he had a late night and this is what he considers an early morning. He looks around at the students and faculty running around before turning back towards his car and reaching in through the open door to grab his jacket. He slips it on in one fluid movement.

"I mustn't be as late as I thought. Might even have some time to see what's new before getting into the grind."

He speaks to himself lowly as he shuts his car door with a loud thud before locking it. He is not even close to late, but that is how he was taught. Always be five minutes early to the five minutes early. He runs one hand along his pride and joy as he starts to walk towards the buildings, his hand hardly finding a speck of dust on the flawless black paint job.

He looks up as he enters the compound, noticing the girl on the roof with a slight grin. There is always at least one every year. And this one is pretty cute as well. He can never stop going after the crazy ones. And with flaming red hair to boot, his favorite. He shakes his head and drags his eyes away from the distraction. Maintain situational awareness. His piercing blue eyes scan the area, but everything seems more or less normal. The pop girl clique powering through without a care, knocking one boy to the ground. His feet automatically start to move before another helps him up. He shrugs his shoulders and continues his scan. A couple of people cuddling together on a bench, and...a girl with some attitude.

His eyes lock on Riddley, taking in her toned arms and her style of dress as well as the cut of her hair. Now that might be someone to watch in the future. A little attitude goes a long way. He runs his hand through his hair an unconscious gesture that may give away his slight nervousness. If he can even feel nervous, he generally tries to avoid showing it. He walks up beside her and follows her eyesight looking up once again at the girl on the roof.

"I wouldn't worry about her too much. She looks like she is pretty well balanced, probably just a gymnast or something showing off. And even if she did fall there is nothing you could do to stop it, all you could do is render first aid. Try to break her fall and you would only end up wounded as well."

His voice is deep with a slight rumble to it. There is a slight inflection of humor in his tone. His eyes stay with the girl on the roof for a moment before he turns to the girl he has walked up to.

"My name is Jacob by the way."

Riddley caught a flicker of movement in the corner of her eyes, but initially ignored it. It was day one and roof girl was already threatening to be the first bout of excitement, leaving her less than concerned with whatever kid wanted her attention. She made a point to pout her lips and tilt her head, feigning even more interest in the girl on the roof. And then the flicker spoke to her, and she allowed her gaze to shift to him--and was admittedly surprised: tall, handsome, not so dark. She looked him up and down with her blue gaze before crossing her arms and looking back up at the "gymnast."

"The fall would be fun to watch," she suggested. A complete lie, but the goofy smile on her face said otherwise, and she glanced back at Jacob only to gauge his reaction. She didn't give her name.

"Yeah, maybe in the same way a train crash is fun to watch. It might be entertaining for a brief moment but then you realize that people are probably dead. And that part is usually not as entertaining."

Jacob shakes his head slightly and spares the girl up on the roof one more quick look before he turns back to the girl beside him. He runs a hand quickly along the side of his head against the short cut hair there. His lip quirks slightly up into a light smirk as he notices the girls goofy smile, something that seems to contrast nicely against the way she dresses.

I don't think there is really much we can do though. Unless you want to go up there and chase her around. Or ya'know go and grab one of the teachers to yell at her. Either way probably not the best move.

His smirk turns into a winning smile, or at least what most people would consider a winning smile. His brilliant blue eyes locking onto Riddleys own, his hand rubbing against the light stubble along his jaw line. He really does fiddle alot when he is trying to put on his air of suave confidence.

"Sorry i didn't catch your name? Like i said my name is Jacob, my friends call me Red."

Jennifer sharply nudged Lucidian in the side as another person entered the parking lot in car from what she calls a 'classic'. Lucidian never had interest in cars - maybe because he had his own 'transportation system' - but it was just the person stepping out that got his attention. "I smell douchbag," he said while they stared at the boy brush his hand against the car then enter the school. They must be connected at the hip to just automatically know when they'll hate somebody just by their looks. As he entered he looked around, catching his eye on them for a few moments before going to the girl on the roof and starting a conversation.

"Uh oh, you lost one of your chances to bang somebody," Jen sarcastically told him, rolling her eyes. She already knew that if he ever questioned how to get to somebody, he was already have a whole set up building in his mind. Just by that statement he smacked the back of her head with his palm. Her eyes gave off a small red glow as she slappeded him back. Soon it formed into punches at each other, Lucidian dodging one of Jen's throws and grabbing her arm to flip her across the ground.

"Have you forgotten that I was the one that taught you how to fight? Suck it, bitch!" Lucidian yelled at her, flexing his muscles in victory then made a girly scream as he was pulled onto his back, getting winded for a moment.

Jennifer sat up with crossed legs, rubbing her temples. She pulled her hand away, blood on her fingertips from a cut slightly opening on her forehead. "You're such a dick," she growled then looked around with squinted eyes. Any of the random students would be glaring at them and whispering. She quickly got up, pressing the side of her hand beneath the cut so the blood didn't drip down her face.

"I didn't do it!" Lucas wheezed while still trying to catch his breath. He may have a strong vessel and fighting skills, but falling on the ground felt more like flying and crashing into a building for him. Of course the teachers weren't paying attention or were just 'too busy' to help them in any way. The boy just lazily flopped his arms around like a fish out of water while making jokes to the girl like "Life alert, help me, I've fallen and I can't get up!" or "Help your ultra great grandpa over here!"

Jacob continued to move just within her line of sight. Her gaze followed his hand to his defined jaw, stubble making him look even older than the senior already was. It was undeniable: he was adorable and came off as shy. And he was trying. She debated teasing him further by continuing to withhold her name, but decided to have some mercy in the end. "Riddley," she said simply. She brushed her orange hair away from her eyes, thinking that she could use a friend. "Nice to meet ya, Red."

Her gaze flickered to the couple of kids getting a little physical. Other students had noticed the two and her smile fell into a slight frown. She hadn't been there five minutes and she already felt like she had to babysit half the school population. "One more year," she sighed to herself.

" John. Ves answered back, accepting Eric's his hand to shake firmly. Glancing over towards the 'popular girls' question, a small smile appeared on his face as he softly muttered "Don't worry to much about them. Once school ends and they discover that their popularity means jack in the real world, they'll either discovery humility or crash and burn horribly... maybe both." Of course that wasn't always the case, but he didn't need to say that aloud.

@seriousarmour@Caits

Hearing the sound of a car pull up, Ves offered it and its driver a glance, but quickly turned his attention elsewhere for the school year hadn't even begun and already some idiot of a girl had managed to climb up to the roof somehow. Gazing up at her, 'John' couldn't help but ask aloud "How the bleeding hell did she get up there?"

@RainbowFactory

And of course it wouldn't be the start of a school year without some pointless fight and blood being spilled.

Kalinda gave a chuckle as people seemed to be perplexed at how she had got up the roof. Deciding to give them a bit of a show, she walked along the edge, and disappeared towards the back of the building, swinging down off a fire escape, cheerful.

Coming back round to the front, now on the ground, she gave a laugh as she approached the boy that had asked, quite loudly, how she had got up there, a swagger in her step. "A girl has to have her secrets, doesn't she? A little bit of mystery, a little bit of adventure..." She winked, before whistling and walking off.

"Riddley huh?

Jacob gives Riddley another obvious once over, the smile on his face never once wavering.

"It suits you. And it is very much my pleasure to meet you."

He turns his head quickly as he hears the sound of a scuffle quickly followed up by someone yelling. He shakes his head the humor that was in his eyes dying out, the blue eyes now looking more like a cold winters storm than a welcoming pool. His smile fades from his face, his lips setting into a grim line.

"Damnit. It really was good to meet you, but if you could excuse me for a moment.

He turns away from Riddley and moves quickly over to where the scuffle has just taken place. His hands half clenched by his side, just in case he has to jump in. He really is not the kind to stand by, especially when it looks like a fight between a man and a woman. He looks more than a little intimidating to a lot of the people gathered in the courtyard, after all he is bigger than a lot of them and wears combat boots and a leather jacket.

"What the hell is going on?"

His voice is deep and rumbling with hints of anger behind it. He looks from the man to the woman a couple of times before he notices the blood on the girls face and hand. He looks concerned for a moment before looking towards the man on the ground clearly wanting to stomp on him a couple of times before deciding that now is really not the time. No need to start things up again. He focuses his attention back on Jennifer before speaking again.

"I have a first aid kit in my car if you don't want to go and bother the school nurse? It is nothing major will only take me a couple of seconds to patch you up."

She sighed while putting her head down as the person walked over, offering to patch her cut up after that quick but violent beat up. Lucidian immediately bolted upright with a shaky groan and snatched Jennifer out of his reach. A weak snarl was on his face, ironically the person that threw her around was the same one protecting her... She sighed then whispered into his ear, "Just let it go, alright? You can heal me later." He hesitated for a moment before laying back on the ground so the girl could stand, spreading her feet a little to stay balanced. Luke would stay on the ground, rubbing around his face like an ashamed puppy. "I think I'd rather go with you. Take the time to talk with people at least," she finally told the older looking boy.

"Touch her other than that cut and I will rip your hand off, got it?" Lucidian would growl from the ground. It was clear that they had something like a brother-sister type of relationship: hating each other in some ways but looking out for each other. Jen would only shake her head at him in disappointment then look up, flicking the blood off the back of her hand then quickly putting it back under the cut. It wasn't deep enough to do anything major but how wide it was definitely was making it a problem. "Might as well take your bag as well just in case," the boy grumbled from the ground. Her backpack was already balancing on his bent knees like it just suddenly appeared there. The bench was just a little out of his reach as well...
