That does not describe Larry Corll. He knows what he is, and what he does. He sees himself from the third person, as a lone entity acting out his own will. He likes how things are, he looks forward to how things will be. He plays the game one step at a time, taking it all in his stride as he makes clear his intent. Corll is not a good boy. Corll had a bad childhood. His daddy beat him like a dog, often using a baseball in a sock. His mother never helped. He's hopped from school to school over the years, having been in several states. His father was put in the brig for nearly killing a sister-in-law with a golf club. His father had been in an affair with her at the time. Corll has been a bully since he started middle school, and a particularly nasty one at that. He's been kicked out of a few schools, but has gotten wiser since then, more sensitive to the art of being subtle.
