It was quiet in the bar 'Snake Bite', other than the soft casual conversation coming from a table surrounding by gambling men. Well, men as in three men and a short, ginger boy in a green sweater. The trans boy was winning, a pile of crumpled cash in front of his cards. Ace Kingslee, the tactical genius with prosthetics replacing half of his legs, was watching the three other gamblers with a completely blank look. They were either shifting uncomfortably or glaring at their cards. 'Will I ever get a challenge?' Ace thought to himself, adjusting his owl-like glasses before looking back down at his hand.
Lacy Ribeiro, the tall, gorgeous Brazilian woman who owned the bar, was silently watching the group. She was leaning against the back counter of the bar as she swished the liquor in her glass. She was dressed in her normal work attire: a very short black dress that was held up by the ties around her neck, black stiletto heels, and the emerald green snake that curled around her shoulders and arm. The little snake let out a hiss as it traveled down her muscular arm. Lacy glanced towards one of her employees as the waitress passed with a dustpan and broom in her hands. She liked it when it was quiet, no rowdy customers or men (and the occasional woman) continuously flirting with her. Yes, it was quite nice.
