"Out of breath and wet, and not the kind I like," Viper responded, putting her hands on her hips. She looked rather annoyed that she had had been the one to be drenched but at least the citizens were safe and the villain had been caught. Her green eyes flickered over the ground, seeing the fear they had towards Agent. "At least they're straying away from the danger," she chuckled.
Trick glanced up at Vioer and Agent. He grumbled something under his breath about always having to deal with the police. He waited until the police took Hydrotic away before standing up and walking over to the other heroes. He let his dark gray cloak fall around his body with the hood up as he walked.

Agent couldn't help but chuckle a bit at Viper's comment, "Yeah, I get you." When she mentioned the citizens staying away, Agent scratched her head sheepishly, "Oh yeah, they're still scared. I'll get them to trust me eventually." She hoped her words would prove true. Heck, she wasn't sure if she would ever be trusted. It would be a wise decision by citizens and authorities to never trust her because of her background. Agent looked to the crowd, some people taking a step back just because of her gaze, and she turned back to Viper, Trick now walking up. "How about you, how are you feeling?"

Trick looked at Agent and grumbled in response: "Perfectly chipper." His voice was very monotone and somewhat drab. The ginger then turned his head towards Viper to tell her, "You have an 'appointment' with you know who. Go dry yourself off before you make them unhappy." Viper slightly narrowed her eyes at the kid before rolling her eyes. She didn't appreciate his tone of voice but what could you do? Trick watched the snake woman leave, reaching up to wipe the small beads of water that had formed on his goggles. "I suggest you leave as well, the police might still want to arrest you," he murmured.

"Oh yeah, you're right," Agent replied to Trick, casting a wary gaze to the flashing lights. "I'll see you guys around." With that, she looked around for a tall building, needing to be out of sight as soon as possible. She shot her grappling hook on the building and was gone with the shadows. It would be hard to keep running from the police, but she would have to manage to clear her name. Counting up her crimes, in many states she would've received the death penalty. She lightly touched her arm where the needle would be injected.

Trick looked down at the ground as Agent swung away. Once again, he was left to talk to the cops and help with writing their report of what happened. But it's not like he minded. Trick was always around when someone needs help. He sighed, bobbing his head back up then turning around to face the cops.

It was Saturday night which meant the Snake Bite was booming with life. Music made the ground thump and a mixture of smells filled the air. Lacy was dressed in a short, strapless, black dress and red heels to match her red lips. The Brazilian woman talked to the customers, occasionally mixed drinks when her bartender was busy, or milled around the nightclub. Now normally, Ace would be working as a server but tonight he had been swamped with college work so he had been staying in Lacy's apartment, which was set above the club, to work.
Last time Lacy checked on Ace had been two hours ago, so she decided it was time for her to check up on him again. She ascended the stairs from the back room to her apartment and entered her home with a sigh. Then she froze. Usually, she would be able to hear Ace or at the very least, smell him. But she got neither. "Oh, calm down," she told herself. "There's nothing to be worried about." Shaking her head, Lacy carried on into the apartment, heading to the living room.
All of Ace's papers were spread on and about the couch, his laptop turned on and resting on the coffee table. But there was no Ace. Lacy frown deepened. She hadn't been too worried until she saw his prosthetics propped against the armchair. Not good, not good at all.
