Lacy waved bye as he left while Ace just watched him go.
A few hours later, reports were made of a bank robbery being lead by the infamous Puppeteer and her partner in crime, Doll. To two were very dangerous and the police were having trouble getting past the Puppeteer's army and mind-controlled citizens. All of the people who were under her control had golden ties around theirs joints that disappeared in the air above them, as well as happy smiles and glowing, golden eyes. The workers were being held hostage by Doll, which meant that if they were saved soon then the possessed doll would kill them all, or worse torture them.
Viper and Trick were perched on a building overlooking the bank. They were trying to figure out the best way to enter the bank without being seen by the villains.

Tiger didn't want to make his appearance know yet since he didn't want the hostages being killed. So, the man hopped from roof to roof until he got a vantage point on one of the buildings. He looked at the cop surrounded bank and tried to think of the best way to get in. As he looked, he spotted movement from the corner of his eye and recognized the figures. He hopped over to their roof and said, "Hope you don't mind me tagging along. It's Doll."

Viper looked over to see Tiger. She was standing close to the edge with her arms crossed and weight leaning on one leg. Trick was sitting on the edge, his legs swinging over the side. "I don't mind," she said, shrugging. She was dressed in her black cat suit with a lot of her chest showing, and a black mask. Trick was in his green and dark gray attire, face concealed by the red lensed goggles and green face mask. "Doll and the Puppeteer, as usual. Why are those two always together, can't they just take a break?" She grumbled, sighing. "Do you have any idea of how to get in?"

Tiger was momentarily distracted by the excess chest, but quickly got over it. "There are several air cents running throughout the building. If we can get to the bank rooftop without those two noticing, we can slip through the grates on the side. Follow my lead?" Before waiting for an answer he began roof hopping again and made his way to the bank. Once on top he leaned over the side and opened the grate. "Ladies and Ace first," Tiger said. He wasn't exactly sure on Ace's gender since Ace had feminine features, but he guessed it was just a misunderstanding.

Trick sighed and stood up. He switched his prosthetics to flying mode to follow after Tiger. Viper leapt from the roofs with ease, landing on the bank's roof. Trick landed next to the vent, looking down the dark tunnel. Viper looked at the vent and sighed, clambering into the crawl space. "Yeah, I'm not going before you," Trick stated, crossing his arms stubbornly.

Tiger shrugged, "Suit yourself, I'm the one getting the view." He let out a quiet laugh and hopped into the vents. "Take a left up here and a right at the next intersection and we'll be right above Doll and Puppeteer," he informed Viper, not sure if she knew her way. "Just hope the cops don't do anything stupid," he murmured.

Trick stuck out his tongue in disgust at his comment. Viper was basically family to him and it was weird (but not uncommon) to hear someone say something like that. He followed in after Tiger, shutting the grate behind him.
Viper followed his instructions, frowning as she smelled metal. "Cops will be cops," she grumbled. The smell of metal, or rather blood was getting stronger as she approached the vent above Doll and the Puppeteer. She wanted to ask the others if they smelled it but she didn't want to give away their position.

Tiger began to smell blood, but didn't comment. His senses were heightened, but not as heightened as Viper's. He didn't know their plan, but gave Viper a nod to show her he was ready to pounce, to follow any plan. He was on their mission as much as they were on his own.

Viper glanced out the grate only to see that the angle showed nothing. She turned her head to look towards Trick and tapped a finger at her temple, signaling that she wanted him to scan. Trick did as he was told, scanning below them for any movement or heat signatures. He held up both of his hands, counting ten people. "It's a large drop, keep going forward and we'll hit a room on the upper level," trick told them in a hushed voice.

Tiger nodded at Truck's instructions. It was interesting to see how well the two interacted together. Ten doesn't seem too bad, he thought, not wanting to give away their position to the people down below.

Viper opened the grate to the room once they had arrived and jumped down. She dusted herself off then placed her hands on her hips. The room was a decent sized storage closet full of files and boxes. Once Tiger was in the room, Trick landed next to him and looked around. "The main staircase is down the hall and to the right," he told them. "I know that Doll is there, but I am not positive whether the Puppeteer is or not." The small boy shuffled past the two grown-ups to open the door. Viper watched her ward pass then glanced towards Tiger. "Have you ever fought the Puppeteer or Doll before?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

Tiger hit the ground softly, similarly to a cat, and looked around. There wasn't anything too special about the room and he didn't see any threats. To Viper's question Tiger stammered, "Ye- uh, no, not exactly, but I have seen TV shows and read articles on their powers. As long as they don't get control of me I'm good, right?" The truth was, he had no idea what to expect from the villains.

Viper pressed her lips together in an uncertain look. She followed Trick out the door, adjusting the clasp of her golden claw. "Well, the Puppeteer and Doll are bit of an odd pair. They are both supernatural, and very dangerous," she stated. "Puppeteer can not feel pain, or anything really, from what I can tell. Doll is...psychotic. Look out for the Puppeteers golden threads and Doll's wires." She silenced as they neared where the villains and hostages were. Trick was hiding behind a pillar, peering down towards a tall woman with long, black hair in a red and black dress, and a small porcelain doll at her side. Many of the Puppeteer's victims were either stumbling around or loading money into what looked like a dark portal. Viper crouched down near Trick and watched them. "Rush in, or tactic?" She whispered very softly.

"So it isn't just a bunch of hocus pocus and smoke and mirrors?" Tiger asked and observed the scene in front of him. He wasn't sure how to break the control of the civillians and could only think of one logical way. "I think we should go in with a plan. Trick, you have sharpened cards and stuff, right? Well I have claws and so does Viper. Maybe you can fly around, throw some cards to cut some cords. Mainly distract the two while Viper and I work on cutting down the others." He wasn't sure if this plan would work, but they had to try something.

Trick didn't respond at first as he just seemingly stared down at the scene. Then he slowly nodded. "That might work," he murmured. "Doll will most likely go after you to, so be careful and try not to rile her up. You'll just make things worse." With that, he stood up and flew into the air. He zipped over the large space, playing cards between his fingers. The puppeteer calmly looked up at him and her facial expression didn't change as he cut a few of her victims from their ties. Doll, on the other hand, was livid. The small girl looked furious, her fists clenched at her side. "Stop ruining things! Go bother someone else!" She screamed, raising her hands. The zipping sound of wires being tugged echoed throughout the room. Multiple practically invisible, steel wires shot out towards Trick and almost pierced him if he hadn't twisting in the air.
Viper watched Trick spin in the air with a frown. "Now we wait for a better time to strike," she murmured under her breath, mostly to herself.

Tiger watched Ace twist through the air, dodging strings and throwing cards. He did his part perfectly and now it was Tiger's and Viper's time to do theirs. As Puppeteer watched Ace and Doll shouted, Tiger slinked through the shadows quickly on all fours and began to cut strings. He kept a close eye on the two villains and other puppets surrounding them. Above saving the civilians he really didn't want to become a puppet himself.

Viper slunk down the stairs and through the shadows, unseen, to where so of the civilians were. She cut a few down, occasional glancing towards the villains. Hoping for either of the dangerous girls to not see them wouldn't work. The puppeteer calmly turned to face Tiger and sighed slightly, feeling multiple of her puppets being pulled from her grasp. "Doll, leave the flying cretin be, I need you to take care of the other two," she told the smaller girl, her voice monotone. Doll spun around, the wires attacking Trick ceasing. She let her bottom lip stick out in a pout before she stomped towards Tiger. "Go away! You're ruining the show," she whined, raising her arm to shot multiple wires towards him.

Tiger listened to the Puppeteer as he sliced victims down. When he heard Doll's shout he whipped around, slightly startled, but quickly regained his composure. "Sorry sweetheart," he said, bunching up his muscles, "show's over!" He jumped backwards, and ran on all fours, trying to make himself as small as possible. A cord got dangerously close to snagging him, but he was able to slice it at the last second. "Close one," he murmured, trying to slice the others. If he made one slip up he could be caught.

Doll gave a frustrated scream, stomping her foot like a child having a tantrum. "Stop running when I'm trying to kill you!" She yelled, scrunching up her porcelain features in anger. She raised her arms above her head and almost a hundred wires appeared, glinting in the light, before shooting down towards Tiger. They would've made their target if it hadn't been for Viper. The snake woman tackled Doll to the ground which caused her to skid across the floor. This caught the Puppeteers attention. She turned away from trying to capture Trick in her threads and faced Viper, eyes looking towards Doll. "You have become a nuance, but your skills are impeccable," The emotionless woman stated, pointing towards Viper. "I want you." Suddenly, Viper was attacked by both wires and golden threads. There was no escape for her.

Tiger's skin crawled at Doll's shrill screams. Once he saw hundreds of threads he ran much harder. There was no way he could get rid of these. Just as he began to accept his fate, Viper knocked Doll down. He breathed a momentary sigh of relief until the cords rushed to Viper. Tiger leaped through the air in the path of the cords, managing to cut very few in the process. He didn't know exactly what would happen when he would be hit, but it didn't matter if it protected someone else.
