Appearance:


Her weapon of choice is a Scythe,... it acts as her only defense when her magic fails. She uses it as a channeling rod for her spells giving them more range and effectiveness. However, it does not give her her magic. She can cast with or without it. The scythe is a charcoal black with a amethyst to the right of its blade. It also has a secondary spike at the other end. Excluding from the outfit in the picture she also wears a cloak to hide her drow features, silver hair and dagger like ears.

Biography:
You have likely heard her story before or perhaps you have not. She is a drow elf of the underdark who escaped the cruelty of her mother. Her mother being the matriarch of her house made it ever more dangerous. She did not escape the life she had because she did not enjoy it, actually to be honest she took a liking into destroying her houses enemies with her arcane magic or cursing them into submission. What made her run was when one of her missions failed. Her and three other of her kin went out on a simple raid upon rival house hoping to help rise their own to glory ,but.... they failed. The enemy knew they were coming somehow and they were ambushed. She was the only one to survive and she knew such a failure would not be smiled upon by her mother. The only mercy she would receive was a quick death but she knew better. Her mother would make her suffer like anyone else. Therefore she ran from her house as far as she could until she reached the surface world. She did not stop there though... she kept running as far south as she could to a place where she knew her kin would not chase her. The lands of endless sand. The sun would be too bright for her kin. She didn't like it either but it was the only way she could make sure. Perhaps over time her body will get used to it. That was her only hope....

Appearance:


Parum is barely five feet tall and with her robes on, she's almost childlike. However hidden by her unflattering robes, Parum is definitely not childlike; she's a fully grown halfling woman, with a full chest and shapely hips. While she doesn't look strong, and she really isn't, Parum's small and light body grants her great agility and speed not often seen in most halflings. She typically wears clothing that won't restrict her movements, and even her signature robe is mostly for hiding her body; it does very little to impede her even during her more acrobatic movements, and she can tear it off with ease if it does get caught on something. She's often seen with a huge backpack that's at least three times her size, but despite that it's actually a bag of holding, albeit a flawed attempt at one. While it weighs about as much as a a backpack that size would weight (About twenty pounds), it can still hold a nearly infinite amount of space within and she won't feel a thing. It's bigger size also allows her to fit bigger things.

Biography: Parum was once just an orphan left in the streets. As one may imagine, being orphaned in the streets left very little options for the halfling. She knew no family she had; no mother or father, brothers or sisters, uncles or aunts. She resorted to petty thievery, stealing only what she needed to survive. Food, a bit of drink, sometimes coins to buy a bed in the inn during the winter. But surviving by a hair wasn't something Parum enjoyed. She wanted stability in her life, but she only knew one way how.

As Parum grew older, her skills in thievery also grew. She became quite adapt at stealing that she could swipe a sword out of a sheath or coins from a hand. Of course she isn't without failure, but those mistakes only allowed her to hone her agility and speed. Being a little halfling, Parum was also no stranger to being targeted by thugs and miscreants herself. She learned how to fend for herself, even took up a rather exotic weapon to compensate her overall lack of fighting ability. But aside from that, Parum did learn more practical trade skills. Amassing her ill-gotten gains over the years, she eventually was able to buy herself an apprenticeship in a merchant's guild. Much to her surprise, many of her skills growing up were used much more often. While she learned the art of haggling and worked as a locksmith, her deft hands and sharp wit put her into a position where she essentially became a thief for the merchant's guild; stealing back ill-gotten gains from other thieves, companies, or whoever.

Parum spent a good bit of her life with the Merchant's Guild, and she doesn't regret a moment of it. Even now she continues to keep good relations with the guild as she strikes out as her own independent merchant, hoping to gather her wares in the deepest of dungeons for great riches.

Skills: Parum is a fast fighter and quick thinker. While she lacks the pure strength and toughness to brawl most opponents, she's agile and precise to dodge most attacks and hit the right spots. She's very keen with daggers and can stick them into weak points, even throwing them with deadly accuracy. Her fighting style is dual-wielding, typically two daggers. She uses finesse over force, so she needs light weapons.

Parum has keen senses and can often hear, smell, or see others before they can see her, even if they're trying to hide. She can also discern people's motives and practically smell when someone is lying around her. She's very acrobatic and relies on this to dodge danger. Parum can disarm many types of devices and traps, even magical ones, though only with the right set of tools. Lastly, Parum is also good at hiding. Even with her huge bag, you'd be surprised at the places Parum can hide in, even when there's nowhere to hide at. She's the type who can vanish in plain sight without the need of magic.




Appearance:

Catarina is often dressed in full plate armor, and despite it's silly appearance, is nonetheless a masterwork set of armor that actually allows Catarina to tumble and parry blows much easier thanks to it's curvy design. Catarina isn't nearly as thick as her armor would imply, though underneath the leather and metal she is certainly a very well muscular and healthy young woman. She has very few cuts or scars despite her experience in battle, though her hands and feet certainly show callouses of swordsmanship. Outside of her armor Catarina doesn't mind feminine dresses and the like, though she typically wears trousers and tunics since they don't get in the way of her armor, should she need to don it quickly. Catarina does like to keep her hair somewhat long (at least shoulder length), though she wraps it up into a bun when she gets into her armor. She generally eschews make up and jewelry even during casual outings, though she may dress up for formal events.

Biography: Catarina is the daughter of a mercenary, her mother being an armorer. Instead of being raised as a "proper" lady as her mother wanted, Catarina was more interested in the romanticized adventure and warfare her father would tell her at bedtime. She grew up learning how to handle the blade instead of courtly things, though she did at least learn how to take care of herself, cooking and living off the land. She joined her father in battle when she was only thirteen years old, at first merely standing by his side and reloading his crossbow, but by the time she was fifteen she took up the sword and killed her first man. It was shocking at first, taking someone's life, but soon she grew to actually like the heat of battle, despite the monumental risk of death and worse. Around the same time Catarina's mother gave brith to a baby boy, her little brother. By the time Catarina was eighteen years old, her father was grievously wounded in a battle and no longer fit to fight. But with the earnings he and Catarina made as mercenaries, they were able to afford a home to settle down in. With a young child to raise, Catarina's mother and father retired as a small smithy to raise the young boy. Catarina however wasn't finished with her life of adventure yet, and set off to earn fame and fortune, making sure to send some of it back home to take care of her mother and father.

Skills: Catarina is a trained fighter, specializing in sword-and-shield combat. Where most use longswords, Catarina has been trained to use a Bastard Sword, which is much bigger and weightier than a longsword. But despite it's size, she can use it proficently with one hand. Catarina's personal sword is called Domina, a blessed Mythril Bastard Sword. She also has a heavy spiked shield which she knows how to use well, and often uses both her sword and shield in tandem while in battle. Catarina also is strong enough that she could cleave through multiple foes at once with a single blow.

Outside of combat Catarina is fairly athletics, capable of swimming, climbing, and even acrobatics even while in fullplate.

Appearance:

Malkai is fairly short, five feet by six inches, and not particularly muscular despite his heritage. His hair is long and braided into dreadlocks, but he's otherwise clean shaven. His body is decorated in scars and tattoos, most of them animal imagery but also words written in Druidic. One word on his right arm spells out "Wild" and another on his left arm is "Fury". While Malkai's attire tends to change based on the situation, he's rarely seen without his mask. It's a "Totem Mask" made of Iron Wood, adorned with horns and tusks. It's a magical mask which alters with Malkai's appearance when he wild shapes (if he do desires), and allows him to communicate in his animal form using the languages he knows.

Malkai's standard dress is hide armor adorned with bones to provide a bit of extra armor. He typically goes shoeless, though he does wear fur-lined leggings to keep his lower body warm. His main weapon is a magic staff. The staff has a spell storing enchantment on it: He can cast one spell on it that he can activate at anytime after it's been cast, however he can only store one and once it's used, he has to store another spell into it to use the enchantment again. He also has a dagger made from the talon of a large beast and three shortspears that he uses for range combat.

Biography: Malkai was left in the forest as a child. His mother was a prostitute who had serviced an orcish warrior, and so she left her bastard son to the wilds. The cries of the young babe attracted the attention of wild creatures, and wild elves. These wild elves were a forest people, druids, but not keepers of harmony. No, they were a force of nature. Where some kept peace in their land these elves sought to spread the natural fury of the world upon those who would challenge it. And they sensed that fury within the infant child, who's cries were like a roaring wind; loud and powerful.

Malkai's early childhood was spent as little more than an animal. He learned how to hunt and survive instead of how to read and write. While he eventually learned his naive tongue, he rarely used it to communicate with others, and his charm would leave much to be desired. But he grew strong and tough, at least enough to survive in the wilderness on his own. As he grew older, the druids came back to Malkai, and taught him to tame the beast within him. The druids taught him their ways, their tenants and their powers. Unlike other druid circles they were not bound to nature nor did they fear civilizations; they held no sway over them than they could the winds or storms.

As Malkai grew older and stronger, he too eventually chose to leave the forest and mountains he called home and explored the land, as other druids of his circle often did. He would see the world, both in it's natural and man-made form, and learn that the chaotic forces of nature often manifests itself in strange ways. He gathered fortune and renowned, but in the grand scheme of things he was naught but a single drop in the ocean of the world, a single leaf in a grand tree. So Malkai sought greater challenges, seeking quests and tasks which his skills could conqueror. He wanted to shake up the world.

Appearance:

As befitting of someone of celestial blood, Veridis seems to have an unnaturally attractive look about him, not to mention his time as a bard has allowed him to hone his appearance to be more conventionally attractive to others. Veridis stands at a tall six feet and ten inches, a slim and lanky body that shows that he's more interested in making himself look good rather than making it fit. Veridis tends to keep his hair boyishly-short and cleaned, though his celestial nature already makes it hard to dirty himself. Most filthy and stains tends to just fall off his skin or hair, though his clothes still get dirty. Veridis's eyes are a dark blue, typically described as sapphires. When he uses magic they glow purple, making them look like amethysts.

While Veridis isn't afraid to show off his body (To the point that he's totally fine with being nude in public), he tends to wear many layers of clothing. Most of them are clothing he has a special attachment to; his scarf was a gift of his mother, his shawl (The black and gold cloth) was a gift from his favorite teacher back in bard's college, and his poncho he received from some villagers after his first quest. He's learned how to mend these things by hand should they ever get damaged. Veridis also wears magically reinforced mythril chain mail underneath his clothing for protection. He's rarely seen without his lute: this, along with his shawl, was a gift from his favorite teacher. For protection Veridis has a rapier, dagger, and whip.

Veridis main weapon, to the surprise of some, is actually his lute. It is a magical lute capable of "shooting" magic arrows made of sonic energy, making it into something akin to a longbow. Instead of relying on his marital ability however, he can use his performance skill with a lute to strike his foes.

Class: Bard

Biography: Veridis grew up thinking that he was just a normal human boy. Both his parents were human, albeit his father was a paladin and his mother was a lay sister, who often helped their church with whatever tasks needed. Veridis often worked alongside his mother in the church, sometimes lending a helping hand, but more often than not he was leading the other children. He did not bully the children as some would, even if he was taller than them. Instead, Veridis was friendly to the kids and used kind words, but wasn't afraid to speak up against ruffians or give a stern word to troublemakers. He was well-liked by most of the church for being a good child, though some felt he was too much of a goodie-goodie to be much fun.

Much of that changed as he grew older. It first began when his father, a fairly mighty paladin and champion of the church, wanted to train his son to also become a paladin. Veridis was willing to learn from his father, who taught him the basic use of various weaponry such as swords, halberds, bows, and maces, however Veridis lacked the physique to make use of such weapons. While he was athletic and healthy, he was weaker than his mother when it came to using his strength. So instead he was trained to use his fineness, employing lighter weapons such as rapiers and daggers. This pleased his father well enough, but Veridis had no interest in becoming a paladin. While he had faith in Shelyn, their goddess, Veridis did not really want to seek out evil. He wanted the life of an bard.

His mother and father had their doubts. While his mother was largely accepting, as art and music was one of the portfolios of Shelyn, his father felt that his son would be better served as a holy warrior of good than a traveling mistral. But Veridis was firm: while he was willing to fight the good fight, he would do so his own way. His father reluctant for the longest time, but ultimately accepted his son's decision. Using his connections, Veridis's father helped his son find a reputable Bard's College for his son to train. Thanking his mother and father, Veridis left his home to become a bard. But the Bard's College was just a stepping stone for his true passion: Adventure.

Long blond hair and piercing blue eyes like that of a wolves. His armor looks like that of a templar but he is neither. He carries at his hip a bastard sword. With a kite shield hanging from his back. He has a scar starting a inch above his right brow down to his chin. His helmet has a matching cut to show that it was the only thing that stopped him from losing an eye. His mount is that of a dire wolf. The wolf is dressed similar to that of a battle horse.

Biography: What is there to know about the Wolfe family other then that they had a dark past and future. It seemed each son was destined to die in battle and how they did varied down the line. Alex was the fifth son of a family of twelve. Each one of his brothers had died in battle and his sisters had married off to lord's sons to keep what remained alive. Allies where needed to survive up north. Each of the brothers had a mount similar to Alex's. The reason they chose such animals was because they were huge and it gave their opponent two things to worry about. Now most dire wolves did not quite make the size requirement for being a mount. However, his family raised them for that purpose. For them to be strong and big. IT spread fear into their enemies.

Question is why where they in a city like Saphire... a thousand miles away from home. Alex's family was all but gone. He was the only son left which meant he was the heir. He grew tired of fighting wars that meant nothing to him or his family. He came down to get away from all of it. So here he was to seek out his own fortune and glory. If he was to die he would be the one to choose how it would happen not some lowly tart for a king.

Appearance: Elleonora is 1, 73 m tall with well honed body. She has shoulder length black hair and blue eyes. Her clothing of choice is well her armor. She wears metal plate breast plate over a chainmail, metal greaves and elbow length gauntlets. Pretty much how it's in the picture but with a chainmail under the chestplate. Under the armor, she has a few scars around her body. Mostly left from before she started wearing said armor.

Her weapon of choice is a big two handed battle hammer. She uses it almost constantly for every battle. If the surroundings doesn't allow it, she uses a small short sword she keeps on the back of her belt.

Name: Elleonora Alnara

Age: 20

Race: Human

Class: Cleric Lv 3

Biography: Elleonora was born on the roads. Her mother was part of a merchant's caravan and her father was a traveler that happened to share camp with the caravan one night. After that night, her mother never met her father again. Thus Elleonorah was raised solely by her mother for a few years at least. It wasn't much of a living as the caravan constantly was in bad finance situation and when she was around 7 years old the caravan broke up and everyone moved away. Her mother got stuck in the middle of some backwater town, with no money, no transport and a little child. After a few days of struggling, her mother left her at the local church under the pretense it was for a few hours, but then she vanished. Since then Elleonora lived at the church, helping around the place as the cleric was trying to convert her and show the child the beauty of the god he worshiped.

All things considering, the religion didn't click right with her. She couldn't put her mind behind a god like that. One day she simply decided to live her life around her own philosophy of the world. She started helping people, fighting those she deemed unworthy. It was a pretty simple way of thinking... beat into submission or kill those who are danger and help those who can be helped. Her holy magic was powered by her own dedication to her way of thinking. One day she left the church and the town, heading into the vast world.

Appearance: Kalista is 1.82 m tall with straight chestnut brown hair that reaches to the middle of her back. Her eyes are bright amber colored and always attract a lot of attention from people around her. Her face is beautiful and has sharp, intelligent lines, making sure there is no lack of heads turning after her every time she enters an inn or walks down a street.

Kalista’s clothing of choice is a coat/shirt, pants, boots and cape of exotic far eastern origins.( as seen in the picture above.) As for her weapon of choice she has two that she switches between depending on the situation. First is a whip she uses as utility weapon and one she takes great pleasure in using. Doesn’t deal a lot of damage, but capable of intimidating foes, cause great pain and is perfect to whip around edges and pillars to swing across big holes. Her second weapon is her magic tome. It’s covers are hard encased in steel, making the book a rather good as sword blocker and incredible bashing weapon!

Brief history: Kalista was born in a village way out to the far East. Her mother was a human wizard who stumbled upon said village while still carrying Kalista in her body. The human magic user was well received by the villagers and they took a great care of her for she was hurt and weak. Sadly the woman died at birth, but her daughter survived. The people named her Kalista as it was what her mother many time mentioned she wanted to be named.

She grew up in that village, learning magic from her mother’s books. She quickly turned into a fine young woman who eventually left her home behind, in search of adventure and most important of all – her mother's past. Someone had to know her out there in the wide world and the half-elf wasn't going to give up searching. All the while going on adventures, earning a living and maybe saving enough for a home of her own one day.
