Roxas pants deeply, feeling slightly drained from having his defense strained so much, simply standing there in the open. Ventus acts as Mavis' guardian for the time being, making sure she's ok and that no potential threat is nearby.

Ventus hesitantly backs off, nodding. "Ok...I trust that you're alright...I just don't want Darkside hurting you again." Ven says to her truthfully. Roxas catches up with the Mavis and Ven, having quickly recovered. "That attacks was pure darkness...I could barely hold my own against it." Roxas says, describing Darkside's power.
