Suddenly, black spikes erupt from the ground under Xehanort, skewering the defenseless man. As quickly as they came, they went. And going by everyone's expressions, nobody in the group did it. "..." They all stare at the man, most carrying looks of horror, except for Mephiles and a few others. He could care less.

((Huh...there goes a potential ally. I mean, I COULD save him..but then again, I'm not so sure..)) Xehanort's breathing pattern is now uneven as his will to go on is slowly fading."Ven....I'm..so sorry--" He pauses to cough up some blood,"I...couldn't...protect you..." Then, suddenly, he smiles. "To die here...knowing you're safe now...is good, ya know?" He coughs up even more blood.

Dark limbs emerge, grabbing at the man, pulling him into a dark void. Some go to help him, but Mephiles stops them, knowing this void. He's out of their ability to help.

Terra re-emerges from the black void in what seems like the throne room of a long-forgotten castle. "Stand you fool." He hears, and realizes he's been healed. "Sorry, had to give you a convincing 'death'." The voice says.

"Let's get them somewhere they can rest." Erza says, motioning towards Ventus, Roxas and Michael.
"Good that." Mephiles replies, as the group is teleported back to the guild building.
