I actually have a few thoughts on that topic

first off, its hard to write about someone just being shocked and feeling ill for a long ass time (cus thats probably how you would feel if it happened in real life)

second, it hasnt happened to any of us as far as i know so i really dont know an accurate way to make my character feel

third, when i wrote about it I kind of put myself in the position of my character. I thought about at first being very shocked but shortly after realizing how real the situation is and trying to figure out what to do

fourth, thats pretty much how subaru reacts in the show, not saying that everyone would react to it that way, but its what we have to work from, and its what we've seen

The third point is fair enough. That was actually why I said that's how I would imagine it for Avery; I would freak XD (In multiple ways. I would also be arrested for trying to cuddle adorable demi humans XD)

Shamak floods entire HQ, even breaching sealed and far off rooms like that of Maria's ---> Jiru just avoids it through an OPEN window right after hearing the word Shamak which creates an instant fog

@6slyboy6 Out the window and back outside. Shamac has a fair sized AoE but it isn't exactly massive (it also spreads from the user very quickly, but not instantaneously). Diving out of a window is pretty reasonable given that Shamac seems to follow the laws of physics and doesn't travel through solid objects. It isn't as though he stood right outside the window after diving out.

This one is quite difficult to handle. He had a few minutes to dash off and it states that Grian wasn't faster than him and shamak covers the area as quick as possible but not that quick. im giving heck the upperhand this time. He hasn't escaped yet, a few guards will definitly try hold him down. Perhaps Adam feels like controlling those guards. @ADamnFiddle

It took me a second. But a second nothing more. To come to the realization that"Adam" was me and i am now moderately entertained. Sure I can go post with some npc guards if that is what is needed, after work that is.
