History:
Knowledge has always been Kalinth's one true love, and understanding has always been his one true desire.

He wished to know how creatures were born, how they understood each other, and how they thought. He wished to know why some animals lived in the dark and others in the day. He wished to know why diseases happened, and why people fought each other and loved each other. Due to this innate curiosity, he spent much of his life observing the world. He made a habit of capturing interesting specimens and studying them.

Over time he has collected many different creatures to study, including humans and elves. Through them, he has learned their languages. Unfortunately for him, he still cannot speak their languages, it seems that the draconian throats were not made to pronounce words like the humanoid creatures. The closest he could get would be something like a large cat mimicking human words. Due to this fact, he doesn't even bother trying to speak the languages of humanoid creatures. It does; however, make eavesdropping easier. He has also learned to read, though he cannot write. He begged, cajoled, and pleaded with the elf to teach him to read texts in multiple languages until the elf finally agreed in exchange for his freedom. Of course, after freeing the elf, Kalinth quickly moved to somewhere far away. Just because he's eccentric doesn't mean he's a fool.

Mostly, he has been focusing on studying creatures like wolves, deer, cougars, etc. Unfortunately, most animals do not change their way of life as much as humanoid creatures do, so he is unaware that he is sorely lacking in his knowledge of humans. He also has no idea how to tell the difference between a female or male humanoid, except through scent. His interactions with females has been minimal at best, please excuse him if he is rather thick-skulled, and lacking in propriety.

Currently, Kalinth resides in a nice dry cave in a forested region and has filled his new abode with scrolls and tools and objects for studying. He enlisted the help of a earth-shaper dragon to make his house more comfortable and protected.

Dragons continue to grow so long as they're alive. Once a dragon reaches the adult size, growth slows down significantly, but they do continue to grow until their deaths.

Personality :
Kalinth is a strangely curious dragon. Unlike many of his kind he holds no ill-will to any species in general. He is patient and his motto is to wait and and see before you make a conclusion. Unfortunately, he's more like a clumsy absentminded bachelor scholar than a fierce dangerous dragon. He can be surprisingly sensitive though, and he often views things in the long term. He is rarely angry, but as you know, it's terrifying when you manage to make a gentle-person angry. He does however, have a high level of tolerance.

Way too much of an advantage, He could go and destroy people from the kingdom and never known and soon the people wanting to join will want to shapeshift and then we will have human dragons walking around all over the place

Hm... I see. Well but as a human, he has all the disadvantages of a human and the disadvantages of a dragon's appetite and the whole culture shock. He also isn't the type to destroy people... admittedly, I just think it would be funny to have a great and powerful dragon get mugged by a couple of small time robbers in a back alley somewhere.

Heh... I'd like to see him survive trying to have a job and earning money to feed himself.

Well, that wouldn't work out since he can't use a humanoid form, so it's fine. It'll just be a random side story for an alternate universe. XD

She can sense and shape all things of the earth. This means she can find and sense ores and she can mold stone, jewels, and metals to her will. She can also move/shape dirt or sand with her power.

History:
She has been Kalinth's friend for a long time. Because Kalinth is often absentminded and clumsy, she has become more responsible and careful to make up for him. She drops by to visit him from time to time, and even shaped his home. Because they both live in empty wilderness, Mirroth usually doesn't worry about flying to his home. She does make sure to fly above the clouds when she can, so that she will not be visible from the ground.

While she was a young dragonet she discovered her powers purely by accident. From then on she honed her powers for defensive and aesthetic purposes. She has also learned to use it to make armor and weapons for dragons. Her own home is made in a rocky mountain. Her entrance is in a cliff face, and she uses her earth-shaping to let herself into her home. Most of her time is spent honing her craft and designing and reshaping her house.

Unlike Kalinth, she is not friendly towards the humanoid races, and she will react aggressively to any creature in possession of a weapon. Due to her power, unless the weapon is made out of wood or bone, weapons are useless against her.

Personality:
Mirroth is a cynic and a skeptic. Unlike Kalinth, she is cautious and wary of strange things. When she puts her foot down, it's easier for Kalinth to turn into a fly than move her. Fortunately, she rarely gets that stubborn. She seems to hold some affection for her bumbling friend. When you win her trust, she will be your loyal friend until her death. She has a penchant for sarcasm and has somehow developed a tolerance for Kalinth's insanity.

Name : Anim Igriik

Age : 29

Race : Eagle type Taalunian. A Taalunian is a race of beings born with animal characteristics and enhanced senses attributing to the characteristics of the animal they portay. It is believed that eons ago native americans to the continent prayed to their gods for gifts that would aid them in protecting their lands. Under the power of the moon, ten individuals were granted the power of their totem. Mountain Lion, Bear, Eagle, Wolverine, Salamander, Salmon, Boar, Antelope, Yak, and Floral were the ten gifted powers and modifications to the body of their ancestors. These were the first Taalunians that drove back industrial powers, leaving the native americans to live in peace. Eventually, the interbreeding overtook the rest of the native americans as the generations passed until all known tribes became of the Taalunian race. They decided to separate when racism between the tribes and types of Taalunian caused bloodshet. The Mountain Lions took to their cat's respective home among the rock, Bears and Wolverine types to the forests. Salmon and Salamander stayed to the river while Boar, Antelope and Yak types took to the plains. Floral and Eagle types coexist in the woods and are the easiest to find, while the Eagle types will stay in their sparse treetops the nomadic Floral types bring life back to the deadest areas that have suffered from war and natural disaster alike.

IF you are a halfling you MUST have three weaknesses to your charcter's race. One weakness for each power you have : While Taalunians do not see themselves as 'halff breeds' and to interbreed with another Taalunian type aside from the one you coexist with in your designated area is taboo to their culture, I will fill this out. Eagle types have the same anatomy as their representative bird, in that they have hollow, very easily breakable bones. In harsh weather conditions they are unable to fly, leaving them very vulnerable. Their feathers are also easily flammable; a big deal when fighting a dragon.

Power (Your allowed two please do not make them insane please) :
Eagle-Sight : The eye sight an every day eagle would typically have; spotting a fish near the surface of a lake from several miles high in the sky is one example.
Arcery: Aided by the eagle-sight, Anim is an excellent archer and has practiced his entire life on perfecting archery. While he does have a dagger for simple hand to hand, it is poor in performance to Anim with a bow and arrow.

History (Please be around 5-10 sentences) : Anim was hatched from an egg to two very loving Eagle-type parents and grew up as a normal eagle-type could grow up. Flying lessons, learning how to allow eagles to trust you to let you fly with them, tending to an abandoned egg, etc. When he hit his adolescent stage however, he found himself falling for a Flora type Taalunian who roamed often just beneath his home nest. They spoke often and slowly developed feelings for one another, before his parents found out. While being with a Taalunian not of your type that at least roams in the same area as you is culturally accepted, his parents, whom were particularly rascist and did not believe in this cultural allowance, forbid it.
Anim ran away from home with his Flora type girlfriend, Iralla, and into the towns. For years they lived together in secrecy, not letting the public know of their race... until Iralla was found. Anim and She were forcibly taken home and set to a stake, where the Eagle and Flora types attempted to burn them alive. Anim was able to escape, but just when Anim reached out for Iralla, she wilted in the heat... and died. In a rage, Anim stole away her withered corpse and flew out in a rage. He went to their lagoon in the moonlight, with her body, and laid her at final rest where only fireflies and moonlight would be able to grace her body.

Anim is now working as a vigilante incognito with his wings covered and hood always up. He has taken on bounty's to help pay for his living expenses and wanders aimlessly. He can be found in the tavern often of what town he is visiting, drinking away her memory. Now, however, he has a new assignment... to find the Dragon Princess and bring her in... Dead or Alive.

Personality : Anim is very cold nowadays unless you truly do something to warm his heart. He hates and blames others for what has happened to him, and suffers from depression. His will to live is on very thin ice, and his sanity is only just so-so. Anim has taken on assassin jobs before, killing in cold blood without remorse. It's just something to pay the bills at this point, as sad as it may seem. He has a deep desire for inner peace yet his mind is still stuck on the day he couldn't save Iralla. He has not flown since gently easing her body into the moonlit lagoon, and mentally blocks out the fact that he can fly. He feels... if he is to fly again... then he is abandoning Irallas memory and leaving her behind. Though this is irrational of course, it is what he thinks.
