Sunday, April 30th, 2028, Savior School, 9 AM Orientation Day.
"Don't worry, sis, it's just like every other year, we'll be fine. We always are." Streetsmart looked to his twin sister, standing in the field in which orientation was to be held. There were already a few students gathered, but they still had around an hour or so until orientation officially started. The day would consist of the basic orientation, though they were lacking their full staff at the moment, as most of them were off doing who knows what, they would introduce themselves, and the single present member of the teacher body. After that they would take the students on a short tour around the campus, ending back at the field. Afterwards, a small gathering would occur, giving the students a chance to meet their kin and mingle, they would also be free to break off and explore the campus on their own. They would give the students a few hours to roam and mingle, eventually calling them to the Gym, where they'd have the chance to participate in a simple contest or show off some of their skills and abilities. They would then bring the day into a close, giving the students a couple more hours to mingle before calling them all to their respective dorms. Classes would occur normally, next morning.
I know, it's just that I always get nervous around the beginning of the year. Especially with how quiet things have been lately, it's just... Unnerving." Booksmart shifted her weight from one foot to the other, you'd think after overlooking this school for nearly eight years and being a hero for almost twelve that these kinds of things wouldn't really bother her as much as they did. She took a deep breath, letting out a sigh and straightening her expression. She was Booksmart, one of the world's most known heroes, known for always keeping her cool and calm composure. So that's exactly what she did, same as every year. She straightened out her posture and overlooked the field from her spot on the small stage that they set up every year for orientation, awaiting for the remainder of the students to gather.
