P.S. How does the DC know that much about the Counter?
P.P.S. The Counter should be sent on the same mission and there ends up being a bloody fight, with lots of limb tearing.

To get the plot moving, and we can assume they at least have heard rumours about each other its not much information just that their somewhere near the woods and they possibly exist .

So Counter has upset stomachs and the Dark Clubroom is butt hurt.
To fix a plot hole of how they only know they are somewhere near the woods yet somehow missed the building clearly their hiding place, the receptionist has magic to only allow those in Counter to see from the outside. The Dark Clubroom just saw suspicious people wandering near the woods every so often.

This is true, we have a superman-like paragon of delinquent warlords, a regenerator as a teacher, a supercat, somebody who controls luck, a mad scientist type and of course cookies.

By the way, I can't help but feel like we have a rather limited cast at the moment. It would be nice if another person or two joined up...
