Here's my character. He's a remake of Arjun, an older character of mine. I use the name often in RPs, not just for kobolds.

Name: Arjun
Age: 24
Sex: Male
History: Born with sorcerous powers, Arjun was expected to become the next shaman of his tribe, possibly the next chief. Instead, he took a much easier route, using his inborn fire magic to help with mining. An expert at using flame to burn out new tunnels at a record pace, he quickly proved his worth, and was allowed to keep some of the metal for himself. In time, he took to trading some of it to surface customers, and works as a mage, miner, and merchant whenever he wants to. Rather than work and live for the benefit of his tribe, he increasingly lives life for himself. Not that he is unkind to others; he treats his friends very well.

While he works hard when he has to, Arjun is fairly laid-back and easy-going for a kobold. His magical powers ensure that he is an asset to his tribe and so he is tolerated in spite of his eccentricities. Like most (possibly all) kobolds, he never uses footwear, but unlike most kobolds he has developed a taste for surface goods such as wine and fur rugs. Most of his clothes are from the surface as well.

Equipment: Outside of his clothes, nothing but a coin purse and a dagger. Arjun fights with his spells, climbs using his claws, and if he needs to mine, he uses his fire to burn out whatever is needed. He's hardly ever used a pick or shovel, but he is certainly capable of using either if he has to.

Name: Gruul

Appearance

Age: 42
Gender: Male

History: Gruul was the sole survivor of his tribe, after a group of humanoid "heroes" slaughtered the rest. To his surprise, however, the group spared his life and forced him to serve them. While they were not cruel to him, Gruul resented his captors for what they had done to his tribe. He was released from his service when the adventurers ran afoul of a red dragon while on a hunt for treasure. Treasure that Gruul had pointed them toward.

Personality: Gruul is a bit of an outsider due to his years traveling in captivity, and his experiences are reflected in his demeanor. He is markedly slower to act than most of his kin, preferring to devise clever plans that defeat enemies with little risk to himself. While some brand him a coward, others see wisdom in his strategic approach, and Gruul is happy to teach others the things he has learned. In addition, Gruul has vowed never to let harm befall his adoptive tribe as it did his kin, and will gladly give his own life to spare others if it comes to that.

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Personality: Grek is a naturally nervous and careful, yet sneaky Kobold. Years of being seen as a bit of a runt and a weakling have taken their toll on his self-confidence and as such he's not much of a socialite. However he is not anti-social as such, and will join in a conversation if invited or feels welcome to. He has great admiration for Kobolds who are strong and brave, though he naturally prefers being with Kobolds such as himself, as he has more in common with them, and feels on their level.

In combat he will end to avoid meeting the opponent head-on, instead trying to outflank them and gain any advantage he can, fighting with his brain rather than his brawn

History: Grek was born a sickly child, constantly bullied through his childhood and berated by the adults of his tribe for being, in their words, "A waste of food and shelter" as there was seemingly nothing he wasn't bad at, and no task where he helped more than hindered. He spent many of his first 20 years working in a mine, though he lacked the physical stamina or endurance to last very long before getting too exhausted to work.

The Tribe's leader was under pressure to cast him out, but being fair and kind, decided to see how he would handle trapmaking. Grek immediately took a shine to it, and with very little teaching or training, quickly became the best trapmaker in the tribe, using brains he had always possessed but never had the chance to use.

Name: Alexius Lionus Garracus (born Kutur)
Age: 20
Sex: M

Personality: Alexius is a bookish, nervous, shy type who prefers his fantasy life over any real interaction. He has little respect for authority figures, and has something of a one-sided rivalry with the chief of his own tribe. When he does start talking though, he never stops. Also, he has a strange compulsion to arrange everything he sees by color.

History: Little was very notable in Kutur's young life. He worked in the mines like everybody else, and hated every second of it. He kept getting slapped around by the other miners because he would always attempt to rearrange the ores by mineral exposure instead of doing actual mining. He petitioned to have his job changed, but was denied again and again by the chief and shaman council. So in anger, he ran away, and the first place he landed in was Absence, Grace, the human center of learning and faith. There, he was exposed to the Faith of the Titan Council, which encouraged learning. He joined their clergy, learned their spells, and changed his name to a human one. Now, he has returned to his home tribe, partly to convert and partly for nostalgic reasons.

Name: Kimiru or Kimi

Appearance

Her scale color is a dark blue, and she has brown eyes.

Age: 35
Sex: Female (Also sure.)

Personality: Kimi can appear shy if she wants to be, devious at most times. She is a sneaky type, who always seems to be plotting a bit. She is a bit of a prankster, but can be a loyal friend once you earn her friendship and trust. However, her prankster nature and the tendency to always be plotting doesn't earn her much in the way of friendship or even trust. However, deep inside of her, she is insecure, but it is not a side that many ever get to see.

History: From the moment Kimi was born, everyone knew that she would be trouble. She started pulling pranks on the other younglings in her tribe, laughing as she pushed herself away from making friend her own age. Her mentor, another druid, tried to stress that she would need to make friends, but the only friends she seemed to make were her animal companions. She met her friend, Mariki, when she was around thirty, and he has been her current companion for some time.

However, she realized that she didn't quite fit in with her tribe and their ways, and left for a bit to train with some human druids for a while. After she learned a bit more about druid magic, she returned to the tribe, and currently spends much of her time in the forest near her home, wishing she was out more in the world, but for now, is content where she is.
