I played around with the War on Talmaria. Hopefully it doesn't derail too much of the canon lore. I did enjoy writing this within the confines of the lore.
Rank: Knight-Corporal but became Knight-Captain before retiring
Status: Unknown, believed to be somewhere in what was once Talmaria
Personality: A gregarious and chatty lady, she enjoys exploring what lies beyond the horizon. Though she knows that as a Templar she must conduct herself accordingly least the Templar's name be sullied, she is more than willing to dirty her hands to get things done. Her experiences in Talmir taught her that sometimes it is a necessary evil to break the rules even if the act itself is just.
Bio: Tabetha was born to an elven mother and a human father. According to her mother, a geomancer of some renown, her father died soon after the day of her birth. She grew up in Kal'ras, a city-state of Talmer. It had no laws forbidden inter-marriages but such an act was looked down upon by the community at large. As a child born from this marriage, Tabetha grew up ostracized from her fellow peers. To remove herself from this pain, she immersed herself in books, a number of them dealing with the world outside.
At the age of 10 she, like all other children in Kal'ras had to learn basic self-defense courses as well as navigation skills needed to move around the densely forested areas of Talmer. To the surprise of herself and those of her peers, she was exceptionally competent at this endeavor. When it came time to learn magic, she demonstrated an affinty with geomancy. It was decided then that her mother would teach her geomancy as she was the best in the city.
Tabetha made her first friend who was impressed by her abilities. The elf girl was named Leande, the daughter of a statesman. As part of the elite, Leande was top of her class and she found it amusing that Tabetha was able to best much of the class despite being a half-elf. Her curiosity stroken, she decided to stick around her to observe her. However, Tabetha was none the wiser and was simply glad to have someone her age to talk to.
This unlikely friendship grew and Leande came to admire Tabetha's resiliency and strength; that despite all the harassment Tabetha received, she always managed to crack a smile and move foward. Likewise, Tabetha came to admire Leande's confidence and was striven to be more confident and assertive in herself.
The next 10 years were the better part of Tabetha's life. She wasn't looked down by others anymore (for the most part) and she had people that she could call dear friends. Graduating from her studies of self-defense, she continued her training into the arts of war, hoping to be one of the Wrenvelin. However, on the eve of her 21st birthday there was a major incident with regards to Leande. To save her dearest friend's honor she became the willing scapegoat. This caused her exile from Kal'ras.
Though she was still free to go to other city states in Telmer, painful memories lingered within these borders. As such, she left the forest and went to the lands her father once hailed from; the Kingdom of Farendar. It was here as a starving vagabound that she was picked up by the Order. Given a choice to stay or continue on her way, Tabetha chose to stay for where else can she call a place home?
Magic: Geomancy - To call upon the power of the Earth requires one to attune oneself to their surrounding and draw upon the power of the land. With elvish blood on her mother's side who herself was a geomancer, Tabetha Lockwell has an affinity with the Earth. She has acquired the ability to "hear" the voice of the earth and to call on it to aid her in times of need. Currently, her magic allows her to call forth an earthern barrier to shield herself or to use it to impede or even hurt her adversary. She has imbued her spear so that it can never break nor dull (or so she hopes). A particularly high skilled magic she hopes to master and is currently learning is to create earthen copies of any persons.
Other: She does not subscribe to the Order's belief, rather she chooses to stay as it is currently the only home she knows and it is a sort of replayment for taking her in. Though she has learned some things about the outside world with the help of the Order, she is not as well versed in social ettiquetes of humans as she'd like. She can play the flute.

Theme Song(optional)
As the Dead God's army advanced through the domains of the Wood Elves, the Wood Elves sought assistance from anyone including those from the Order. Tabetha, recently promoted to a knight-captain, was chosen to lead an expedition force to aid the Elves as she grew up in Talmaria and would know how to get around and evade the Dead God's army through the forest. Despite initially protesting that she was exiled and therefore had no right to return home, she quickly changed her mind after realizing how absurd that sounded especially when her homeland was under invasion. After making contact with the Elves she learned that Kal'ras, her birthplace, was razed to the ground but not before her mother and the elders gave their lives to buy time for the others to run. This saddened Tabetha greatly as she wanted to see her mother again. The only good news she learned was that Leande, her childhood friend and daughter to a powerful noble, was still alive at the time Kal'ras was wiped out though her whereabouts was missing in the chaos that followed. From what she could gather, Leande was on a very important mission at the time of the evacuation.
Communication with the Order was sporadic and Tabetha did the most logical thing and lead her forces alongside the Elves in the defense of their homes. The war was brutal with the Elves on the defensive against the Dead God's hordes, utilizing guerrilla tactics to great effect. Though the enemy did cut down trees in response, it hasn't until the appearance of the undead High Dragon did things truly take a turn for the worst. The dragon's unholy fires laid waste to the Elves, conflagarating the ground with black flames that was nearly impossible to put out and incinerating swaths of forest in the blink of an eye. In undeath, the dragon did not lose its cunning and wits. Far from a mindless beast, it was intelligent and very much capable of speech.
In the weeks that followed since the high dragon's appearance, the enemy made great strides inland. The high dragon was the biggest problem and no matter what attacks that were thrown at the creature, it would not die. Everytime it fell, it would rise back up soon after. It was if Sar'than himself kept willing the dragon back into existence. In the aftermath of one battle against the dragon, Tabetha finally met Leande campside at night.
Leande looked worse for wear but was happy to see a familiar face albeit it was one she had not seen in years. After a brief round of introductions, Leande revealed a spellbook and gave it to Tabetha explaining that the book was her mother's last farewell gift in the very unlikely event she, Leande, would cross path with Tabetha again. Though Tabetha tried to pry what Leande mission was noting that she was carrying some unusual trinkets in her pouches, the Wood Elf kept a tight lip only saying that she was needed to go the Relastmina din Unadine.
Leande refused the offer of escort reasoning that a large party would only attract attention and slow her down but nonetheless thanked Tabetha for her offer. Explaining that speed was of the essence, she disappeared into the night and continued on her way. This would be the last time Tabetha saw Leande in the war.
Another few weeks passed and the ordeal with the dragon reached a standstill. Multiple "surefire ways" to kill the dragon failed miserably. The elvish leaders realized that if the dragon could not be taken care off, defeat was almost a certainty. It was decided then that rather than kill the beast, it would be much better to simply contain it with powerful elven magic. At least then, the home field advantage would be theirs once more. Without the terror in the skies, Sar'than's ground army was easy pickings for the elves inside the forests.
The plan was simple. Pin the high dragon down with multiple ballistas with projectiles imbued with earth magic that will grow heavier over time. Once the dragon was grounded from being too heavy, hit the dragon with a barrage of spells and siege weaponry to "kill it" and render it inert. In that timeframe, ancient and powerful magic will seal the dragon inside a great tree, permanently.
As part of a massive operation with almost all personnel present, Tabetha was responsible for holding one side of permimeter against the seemingly infinite horde of enemies. The fighting was vicious and the high dragon, confident as ever, cared little that his body grew heavier and heavier by the minute. Even as the creature found itself unable to fly, its massive bulk, powerful claws and tails, and fiery breath was more than enough to annihilate everything. However, its body could not withstand the onslaught of spells and siege weaponry. Dying once more, the dragon merely laughed and taunted the elves for their wasted effort. Time and time again, the high dragon revived. The great beast knew this time would be no different.
And so the magus and geomancers began their work, rapidly growing a great oaken tree and imprisoning the high dragon within it, layering more and more protective wards atop each other in the hopes that the tree would become an unbreakable prison from which the dragon could not leave. With every last ounce of their magical strength gone, the spell was done and all that was present prayed it was enough.
The fighting continued still. One hour passed. Another hour passed. The horns of retreat echoing loudly through the air. Two more hours passed. Nothing. All was quiet. The deed was done. The high dragon was sealed and its evil would not harm the elves again. Now was the time for a counter offensive.
Without the high dragon, the Dead God's army was slowly driven back and the elves defended their homelands at a great cost. Whatever patches of land the dragon burned lingered with a fetid stench of death making them uninhabitable. Many lives were lost and much of the city states were in ruins. Of the personnel Tabetha was originally given, only 18 left the forest. But, many more veteran elves wanted to see the fight finished and left their forests. Thus, Tabetha returned back to headquarters with veteran elven soldiers who temporary joined the Order until the end of the war.
Nearly all of these elves returned back to the forest, Tabetha included. When pressed for an explanation by Evelyn, she said this:
"I am tired. I have yet to pay respects to my dear mother. I know you need everyone to help build your new world. However, at this moment I want no part of it. I need the peace and quiet the woods provide. I want to go back home. My mother's last gift to me...it is best that I return to the realm of Talmaria. And so, I will be leaving these behind (sets down her sigil and armaments). Thank you for everything commander. May fortune smile upon you in the days to come."
Tabetha was not seen since then. Some inside the Order say she has joined her kind once more and disappeared far into the west. Others say she is simply roaming the forest searching for something. A few even believe she will return one day when the day is right.
Draco's appearance is that of a regular man. He has multiple stab scares in his chest but is rarely ever seen without a shirt. His clothes are also regular, he sticks with a tightish black shirt with black jeans. He stands at 6 foot and is more lanky in weight.
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Rank: Operative
Personality: Draco is a sick twisted human being with no regard for human life. However, people don't see this side of him, his best thrill in the world is deception. Draco thrives on people trusting him, loving him, caring for him before he destroys them from the inside out. He prefers to be up close and personal, staring into the eyes of his 'loved' ones as their life seeps away. Draco is a very smooth talker, always knowing what to say to whom and with his vast intellectual mind, he understands almost everything to do with the body. Draco takes in his surrounds more prospectively then others, taking in as much information as he can.
Bio: Draco knew for a long time he was different from the rest of the world. He saw the world for how it really is, a cruel mistress who likes to toy with its humans. Draco was always distant with humans, and at a young age, Draco had access to many books of study, quickly expanding his knowledge on the anatomy and brain functions of all species. Draco's mother, father and sister loved him very much and was worried about him when he started to become more distant as his life went on. Draco finally gave into his sickness. His mother came early from work, were she was met by Draco. Draco slashed his hand around, the knife connecting with his mother's throat and blood spurted out all over his body, as his mother's life began to leave her, Draco's face finally formed a sick, twisted smile. Not long after his father and sister came home, shocked as the lifeless body laid across the floor. A thud made his sister turn as their father laid on the ground with the knife through his nape. She ran through the house screaming Draco's name. Draco called out to his sister, grabbing her and pulling her into his room, locking his door. She was trying to explain their is a killer in the house but was cut short when Draco laughed uncontrollably. Confused his sister stepped towards him, but not before the knife pierced her gut. On the run from his homeland, Draco joined The Overseers and has become an Operative as a cover for his self.
Weapons: Draco's main consistent weapon is a 6 inch dagger with a gold handle with a weird carving in the handle of a Phoenix. His secondary weapon however is needles dipped in poison, he uses this to paralyze his prey or to slow down a target.
Magic: Draco doesn't use his magic very often, however that doesnt say he doesnt have it. Draco's magic is a very strange and odd form. Draco has the ability, if focused and untouched, can see through the eyes of someone. However, Draco has to have touch that person at least once in his life, and the further away they are, the more magic is needed.
