Well have I got the roleplay for you! Lost Cards of Broken Paradise is currently recruiting Two characters, one of which must be female.
Lost Cards of Broken Paradise is about a civilisation trying to find it's place in the world - a civilisation thats held together by a strict social caste system in order to survive, a place where children are sent to training schools to become great explorers and combatants. That's what you are - a student of the Spire, an academic hub prized for it's ability to churn out high-quality adventurers who will one day go out into the world and salvage tiny villages from the wilderness. But don't think they're going to sugarcoat it for you, oh no - at the tender age of [INSERT CHARACTER AGE HERE] you are expected to own property, equipped yourself appropriately, earn gold like you've got some sort of "job" or something and gain basic human rights and privileges based purely on how well you do at school.
But that's not all: there are many nuances explained in almost-full in the Main Topic.
Now I know what you're thinking: Gee whizz batman, this RP looks like it's already gotten started. You would be correct! Luckily for you, it is still very early on in the roleplay, and very easy to slip in. Full support will of course be given to all players who dip their toes in the water.
But hey, don't take my word for it, for I am a biased GM! See the mysteries and wonders of Lost Cards presented by the players themselves in Synopsis: The Summary Edition II

Do you like loot?
Do you like mechanics with your loot?
Do you like the oppurtunity to boss other characters around and get them punished if they don't do what they say?

Synopsis: The Summary Edition II
In a world, where society is based off a caste system based off of playing cards, which, due to playing cards originally being based off classes, has led to us coming full circle for some reason, shit went down south real fast...
So first everyone was happy in a place called Meltaine or Miltank or whatever, you know, the place with the card based class system. Anyway, everything is too three cool for five school until a magical cloud of shit hitting the fan came known as the Fetid Wind. All the cool people died, some poser who all had the name Jack for some reason tried to be there but they were more of a lukewarm than a cool, so the went crazy. Everyone else said "F this, I'm out" and fled for a better place...
Once the runaways got to the place, they called it Wormwold for some reason, which is kind of a weird name but hey, what you gonna do? Anyway, you play as a student at apocalyptic Hogwarts Spire, a city of students. None of you are too three cool for five school like the old guys who died, obviously sincwe you are in school. You will go on magical adventures using an awesome homebrewed RP system made by the amazing GM Mae (who is just so awesome by the way, really though, absolutely amazing, and very attractive too; And I'm not just mentioning that cause I want to win) as you try and deal with shit once again hitting the fan. Good luck.

It all begins with sunshine and rainbows in the magic land of Meltaine. Life was perfect and everyone was happy. AND it would have stayed that way except for the disease ridden Fetid Wind that corrupted the land. The perfect life everyone had till this event meant that no one was prepared. Meltaine began sinking like the Titanic as the Guardians of the Royal Lines died and the Jacks took control. They're still in control, by the way, as the Broken Jacks. Those wiser than the Jacks who stayed decided to leave, finding Wormwold and making a new home. But they're still corrupted... as are you.

Long ago the 4 suits lived together in harmony, with the Kings and Queens of the Royal Lines ruling. Then, everything changed when The Fetid Wind attacked. The Kings and Queens died, and only the Jacks, the next most powerful could save them. But when the land of Meltaine needed them most, they became mad.
Some people escaped, 1000 years have passed and the people have discovered a new world. A land that they called Wormwold. Although the students of the Spire are skilled, they have a lot to learn before the strange but familiar dreams stop and they reclaim the beauty that was Meltaine. But I believe, that Kaela of the Hands of Healing, Elemette of the Attendants, Maxwell Rydell of The Peacekeepers, Zephyr Hierro of The Elemental Blades, Tainith of The Judging Scholars, Fitzgerald of the Spinning Cogs, Acron of The Raging Winds, Jarvan Gearshield of The Fierce Forge, Jagred Degray of the Fire Eyes, Allan Banta of The Fortune's Finders, and Balith Benker of the Ticketeers can save the world
