Looks: Serena is quite thin for an elf. she is average in terms of her height. she has pale blonde hair with pale skin.
Personality: Serena is quite an outgoing person, willing to speak to almost anyone. she can sometimes come off as a bit of a jerk but she means well for the most part.

Background: Serena has had a natural talent for magic since before she could remember. being whisked away from her family had possibly been the best thing to possibly happen to her so she could bring out her talent. during her studies, she found that she was quite good at using the element of water, able to bend it to her will. she does occasionally think about her family, though she wouldn't really say she really knew them or even cared to know of them, being that she didn't spend much time with them.

while she had been given this opportunity to sharpen her skills and be a strong mage, she did not quite believe in the rule of the king, though she preferred to let everyone believe she was all for him.

I was intending to start today but my internet is acting up. A few of you have messaged me telling me how the RP will start and each of you wants to start somewhere different. How to solve this problem? Would you guys prefer I start things out (which is what I had intended originally)?

The opening post of the story tends to set the tone for the rest of the story, so it may be best for you start things off so you can control the tone. The other players here look competent, so I think they'll be able to run with what you give them. :)

I'm at work, I don't clock in for another half hour so I'll start working on the starter post. It probably won't be up until 4-5 PM EST as that's when I have my lunch break.
