Name: Edwin Walz
Race: Human
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Appearance: Edwin, in all accordance, is generally a quite pale and lanky individual. Reaching to height of 6’3, he weighs around the minimal weight of 154 pounds of bones, meat, and skin. In all general purposes, he couldn’t exactly fight battles fairly in one on one fights, resorting to him taking to the back lines to save himself from being torn apart by literally any race. For clothes, Edwin wears a collared shirt, the mainly black clothing having bits of light blue from the symbol of four lines on his chest to the colored collar. He wears loose gray jeans, and his shoes having a similar color scheme to his shirt. The hair is rather complex, made in a way so that his messy hair is colored both light blue and dark blue that alternate around his entire head of hair. Technology wise, Edwin only carries around the headset that is attached upon his head. Acting as a lookout that constantly scans the area around him for specific things that he can call out for, noting oddities around his surroundings, and connecting his thoughts to activate and message his most important pieces of technology.
Personality: Edwin is driven to the fact that he wishes to experience the world, to enjoy life and seek out knowledge. He himself is very knowledgeable about technology, but rarely anything else of the outside world. Though, knowing that the world is filled with an assortment of activities and knowing to have the choice to expand his lifespan by age reversal, he tends to carry a calmness in his demeanor for he can experience it all in his lifespan. This makes Edwin fairly emotionally stable, and takes quite a bit to legitimately upset the boy. And being the fairly optimistic child that he is, it is quite easy for himself to trust people that pique his interest. As such, he comes across as warm and even altruistic on occasion; and it doesn’t help that he is a fairly talkative human. In spite of all of this, he isn’t exactly the bravest fellow that would fight to the end if it would result in his horrible death. Edwin, is aligned to mostly himself in a rather selfish manner, but in the end responds to Walz Corp if they should even call upon him to return, though they don’t need him at the moment.
Biography: Born in New York, Edwin’s proud heritage goes to the Walz technology corporation. Their business focuses on the construction for military and police equipment, Walz Corp making their vast fortune from the violence and warfare around the world. This information didn’t exactly shock Edwin as he was growing up, he was actually more grateful for their flow of money as it allowed the genius boy to construct almost any project from his mind.
Although, even when both his parents were both alive and healthy at his young age, their relationship wasn’t exactly family oriented, but more of formal business relationship between the two groups. Edwin used their facilities and vast fortune to experiment on projects, and in return would submit successful inventions to the corporation for patenting and use. It was a fair deal, Edwin continued this until he was sixteen, and then a rather interesting problem started occurring regarding the transportation of the technology to buyers. Even though portal technology existed, there was still the problem in delivering them to the more remote areas in which still needed to be driven or flown to their destination, but these supply chains were raided on a consistent basis. Even though they were getting paid, the technology was going into the hands of the enemies which displeased the company and buyers. Walz Corp decided to fix this problem themselves, assuring to buyers that their technology should no longer be stolen in mid transportation for an extra charge. It was quite troublesome trying to discover ways in where instantaneous transportation could happen in remote locations, and building large static portals everywhere wasn’t very cost effective for mobile units and allowed for attacks on portal machines to cut off supply lines. They needed to construct something compact and portable device to allow travel while getting a steady stream of supplies on the way. All three great minds of Walz Corp worked on this project, Edwin enjoying his time spending some family time of their construction. Though, the project with his family lasted longer than anticipated, never expecting to take five years to finish.
The final project for the portable portal machine was complete, able to create portals once the device is activated allowing both biological and material things through a single designated portal exit. It was a technological marvel at the time, patenting the device, Walz Corp started to sell it to major distributing partners allowing for quick and easy resupplies at any given time along the battlefield and front lines. Two years have passed since then and Edwin Walz was bored. Tired of creating inventions alone in his room, he wanted to do something else rather than sit in his room doing absolutely nothing but slave away at his inventions. He wanted to do something… Fun. He knew the world was more than just the company headquarters in New York, and he knew that the world was much more fun than this boring old room… So why not explore the world? Edwin thought about the idea, and decided to go with it as he nothing better to do at the moment. It was maybe that a breath of fresh air and new lands would bring a little more perspective in his little world, maybe discover something other than his massive intellect or give him new ideas of inventions, maybe something not related to extreme violence. Though, the problem was that Edwin knew that the world was a tough place now a days with civil war, husk, and various baddies that sprinkled the land, but that is why he had an entire warehouse of military equipment at his disposal, so he felt safe enough to deter most bad guys that tried to kill him. So! Ediwn went on his journey, written off as live-prototype testing for various inventions, and would try to find new joy in the messed up world, for fun!
Skills and Innate Abilities: Edwin has an extreme amount of intellect stored in that brain. It is almost to a superhuman level such as his father and mother, and uses this intellect for the general technology industry. There is nothing much else other than his amazing tech savvy mind, but he does use this intellect to cover other weaknesses.
Cybernetics: The only cybernetics that are attached upon his body is the visor that covers his face. It is in all general purposes an aid of sorts, helping him spot out hard to find objects, detecting anomalies in his settings, and even acting as a messaging device to all forms of media, especially attaching to his compact portal cube and wireless communication to other inventions.
Bionetics: None at all, Edwin believes that he should experience life as an unchanged human, to experience life as such as you were born into the world. Though, that doesn't mean that Edwin isn't jealous of the humans that survive these dangerous procedures and have cool biological powers.
Inventory: Edwin’s sole possession on his body is the most important, his compact portal cube. This device allows Edwin to pull out almost any object that he stores within his warehouse. It works as there is a remote warehouse far away from anyone's knowledge, there is a large static portal device inside of the warehouse, and using commands through his visor allows a robotic sorting system that brings out specific items that he calls out for, though he will have to wait for those items to get to the portal causing the weight, size, and quantity of his order to vary in time between the transitioning phase as the objects still need to be physically carried to the large static portal. Edwin, can go through the compact portal device by himself to search for items if the need be, but has to leave the portal device behind causing it to be in great peril if unprotected as it can be destroyed leaving Edwin no return back to the original location. In the end, Edwin has several inventions for use, these only include the ones that work for sure, ten mass produced items that are meant for protection for himself, four rarer items that are used for more offensive purposes, and two items that require a week or weeks to construct once again to be used as trump cards in later dates.
Inventions:Common -- Electric Caltrops, acting as regular caltrops to slow down all sorts of transportation and people, it is charged to deliver painful blows by electric shocks to slow down people chasing the user or to block off paths.
- Heat Ray, a piece of weaponry used for crowd control by heating the skin of targets to unbearable levels of pain.
- Blind Light, a device that once stepped near, causes a blinding light to suddenly flash before the device and launches out electrified netting in the front.
- Build-a-Shield, a device that can be planted upon any flat surface which causes a shield of energy to appear at a maximum height of twelve feet and width of eight feet.
- Thunder Gun, a device that allows the user to fire out high-velocity shock waves to disorientate, deafen, and push back up most enemies up to 100 feet. Though, in closer ranges could cause heavier damage to the body that could be lethal.
- Camouflage Sheets, a sheet of material that could cover an entire human body that completely hides against sight, infrared, and night vision.
- Swarm Bots, the size of a toe, these programmable bots swarm areas that carry tiny pincers that bite upon the skin to deter forces away from the area, but can be programmed to bite as hard as 150 psi and blow up when remotely activated.
- Diggers, handheld devices that automatically start digging on any surface that is it placed on, the maximum durability that it can cleave through being solid concrete.
- Shock and Ouch, a grenade that when thrown and after a short delay, causes several tasers from all directions to fire out from the objects, and then explodes the lower half full of ball bearings.
- EMP Grenade, a grenade that when thrown emits an EMP in a five meter diameter disabling all common cybernetics and machinery in the area for a limited time.
Rare - - Automated Turrets, large devices that target any movement in front of the turret and fires out a ludicrous amount of bullets per second, two versions exist as following, rubber and real.
- AI Drones - A pack of five drones, each are equipped with guns that can either fire rubber or real bullets, although the rate of fire is less than the turret, their high mobility of flying makes up for their less durable body and low rate of fire.
- Robotic Exoskeleton - Covering the entire body, this suit of armor allows the user to have increased stamina, strength, and greater reflexes. It also increases the durability of the user, but it is rather heavy causing the suit to neither swim or jump far distances.
- Tracking Bullets - Can be made to fit into almost any gun, but at the moment is at located inside of the M16. The gun comes with 3 clips of ammo, and can grab more at the maximum of 3 more clips of ammo. These expensive and hard to make bullets track any target when locked on to a target, they auto adjust their direction to the locked target, nothing like turning at 90 degree angles, but if the user were to spray and pray at their enemy, the bullets would hit a far greater degree than if they were just regular bullets.
Epic -- Nanobots - Two versions of this exist, healing and destructive. Healing nanobots once applied to wounds around the body will automatically repair and replace damaged bone, tissues, and skin. These healing nanobots only work for humans, these are bots not far enough advanced to adapt to different physiology of chimeras and dragonoids. The second version, destructive, does the exact opposite in when dispersed in the air can target any living creature, entering the body and told to destroy the insides. The destructive subtype works on all races, as it isn’t repairing but merely ravenously attacking anything on the inside of a living being. There are several ways to deactivate these nanobots, strong electrical currents, strong electromagnetic pulses, and chemical dispersion that serves as an antidote for the destructive bots. Though, if left undisturbed, the nanobots themselves will, after a short period, start to deteriorate acting as a short but effective technological poison.
- Mass Teleportation, a device that when activated causes a giant portal to appear underneath the device, causing everything to fall down into the portal where the exit is to the warehouse itself.
