We have a space open!
Welcome to Fairy Heart Attack!, a Magical Girl Yuri RP! Yes, enough of these Magical Girl shows with yuri subtext. We're going with yuri bold text.
First off, fairies! Like this one. They come in all sorts of colors, which pertain to their elemental specialty. Most fairies these days don't have a lot of magic power, but they do a lot of other stuff, from contacting your friends through their fairy to helping schedule your day and even displaying holograms! Further, they're able to power nearby devices, such as lights, TVs, and computers. A typical fairy can power up to 400 watts.
Our Magical Girls will be citizens of the Capital City of the continent of Garmal, Th'Gato.
Some would call this city a mess, but many call it home. Space is rarely wasted in this city, with every nook and cranny used for something, even if it's used as a space to get away from all the hustle and bustle. Residential Districts tend to be quieter, with more trees and free access to the city's aqueous transportation for residents. The Commercial Districts tend to be just as pleasant, if a bit busier. The city also owns a Skyport, for the purposes of trade with neighboring, floating continent of Var'Cel. Things calm down at the edge of the city.
Also this.
You will be playing one of many girls in this city that have a fairy partner, though they will be just an ordinary fairy to begin with. You might not become a magical girl immediately, but you will. Eventually. If you really want to, I guess we can talk about it.

8! Pick any element that isn't struck out. If you want it reserved just for you, say so and state why!

Elements (not entirely exhaustive):
Subject to change! Descriptions: coming soon?
Common Elements:
Fire - Related to Metal, Electric, and Light, opposed to Ice. Fire magic is difficult to control, but very powerful. It is easy for this kind of magic to get out of control, and the effects may dwell past a spells set duration because it has started a fire. Fire produced by magic is self-sustaining, and works even in vacuum, but not in water. In water, it still produces heat, however.
Water - Related to Ice, opposed to Electric. Water magic produces water from the moisture in the air. Alternatively, water may be made from nothing more than magical power, but this water will not serve as drink and will disappear after the spell's duration, whether it would evaporate normally or not. A problem many water-casters face is producing pressure.
Earth - Related to Wood and Metal, opposed to Air. Earth Magic takes particle matter from the air and surroundings to create and move Earth. Similarly with Water, magic power may be substituted. Earth magic can be used to enrich soil, and it is valued by industry for the ability to move mass amounts of ore and metal without putting laborers in danger.
Air - Related to Electric, opposed to Earth.
Electric - Related to Fire and Air, opposed to Water
Ice - Related to Water, opposed to Fire
Uncommon Elements
Steel - Related to Earth and Fire, opposed to Wood. Not an elemental alignment for fairies. Earth and Fire fairies skilled in Steel magic are valued by artisans, as they can make intricate patterns with metal inlays, and work the metal in difficult ways. It functions similarly to Earth magic.
Leaf/Wood - Related to Earth and Life, opposed to Steel. Wood casters are primarily doctors, gardeners, or another profession that depends on growing plants. Leaf fairies have the easiest ability to train in Life magic. Similar to Earth, except with plant matter.
Sound - Sound is unopposed and unrelated to other magic elements. Sound magic has a variety of applications. It disable or enhance creatures with the ability to hear, and with frequency and volume control, disrupt spells, and damage or even destroy substances. It is difficult to control, however, requiring a skilled caster to focus the effect onto a certain area or even one target. Skilled sound users have high demand in the entertainment industry, particularly for concerts.
Rare Elements
Time - Related to Gravity. Time's complicated, yo.
Gravity - Related to Time and Force
Light - Related to Life, opposed to Dark. Light magic can produce light, in varying color, intensity, and shape. Powerful light magic produces a searing heat. It can also congeal into magic weaponry or projectiles. It's light magic.
Dark - Related to Death, opposed to Light. Dark... magic.
Force - Related to Gravity and Light. A very strange, unique element of magic. Force magic bends physics. Though volatile, if used skillfully, the results of such magic can be astounding. It can direct the flow of existing energy, such as heat or electricity, and redirect it. It mostly applies to electro-magnetic energy, though kinetic energy is not beyond a force-fairies grasp. However, powerful uses of Force magic sometimes end... self-destructively. Such fairies are always gold.
