M36 Kantrael Pattern las-gun and a bayonet, we're going by Cadian uniform and equipment at the moment. We'd also be considered an Armoured Fist/Mechanised Infantry formation.

Fair enough, heavy stubber sounds fine, just make sure he's got a brace and stabilizers on him, or else he'll need to carry a bi or tripod to fire it.

Ok, got it. Marcus' squaddies will generally be pleased about fresh replacements for their equipment, Bertolt in particular will be happy if he gets assigned a new vehicle. Though Marc himself is going to be a little miffed over not having his rapid-fire Persuader

Also with Persephone's team, it's because their personalized Hija's are going to be taken from them, and replaced with the Guardsman bayonet knife which is inferior in many ways

@Jbcool kinda what Rult said. the hijas are also kinda like birthrights for them and also a sense of identity. they would let it go, but they would be very hesitant to do so. kinda like catachans with their knives but to a lesser extreme.

As with every military formation you're being stripped of self, part of a regiment, a uniform formation, even the Colonel is a Tallarn Guardsmen without his headscarf and so on. So you'll follow Cadian customs, exercises, and so on until otherwise.

Things like their own language though is fine, but you'll still need to use Cadian battle-cant. Even the Hirisit.

@Dannyrulx Also why would the pay be going to Cadia? It'd be kept in a regimental Ministorum account, propably watched over by the Quartermaster/Ministorum adept(s). The only money going to Cadia would be for your fresh uniforms and equipment.
