You will all join the same squad, some how and some way you will; then again, there is no standard size for a Guard formation...not really. If you'd prefer to be a squad that also includes Soviet-like tank riders, then you can always double the squad size.

We can also wait for NPCs to be killed off...

Any suggestions are welcome, of course.

I'm cool with getting separated from my NPC's, any way works just let me know in advance how the division goes down.

Also @Jbcool Marcus has fought Chaos cultists (With a small number of encounters with daemons), along with small Ork tribes within Imperial territory (though Vernum was their first time fighting against a force under the command of a Warboss. They got decimated because of both that, and being misused by Van Deer). He's never fought anything with superior equipment or organization, like Chaos Space Marines, Eldar forces, or Tau Hunter Cadres.

Just as a sidenote in case this is needed, the combat doctrine of the Flashflooders is to harass and overwhelm the enemy; forcing them outside of close quarters and leave them exposed to other long ranged weapons such as artillery and heavy weapons. They're not necessarily meant to neutralize all hostiles in a close quarters environment, instead they flush (or flood) them out through intimidation and overwhelming firepower to throw the enemy out of position. That's how they were misused in the Vernum crusade, because they were expected to clear the trenches and factories out completely.

@DannyrulxvI don't think the regiment has conscripts... we are made entirely from guard regiments that survived Vernum... plus I'm pretty sure all the gears is standardized so no one will have 'shoddier' gear

I think conscripts are sort of always carried around, sorta like the 'whelp, we need extra cannon fodder, you, you, you and you are now guardsmen.' And yes, guard equiptment will be shoddier depending on what rank they are and what planet they come from; some backwater feral world isn't gonna have the same gear provided to their guard as the Cadians for example.

@Dannyrulx well yea between regiments of course. But this new regiment was outfitted with a standard Cadian Style equipment. I just donn't understand where they got the conscripts from, as we've only been to 1 planet and its the one we were created on.

@Dannyrulx I get that, but we aren't a conscript regiment xD I dunno it just stuck out to me seeing as in the post where the regiment was made official it was stated evrybody got identical urban camo patterened gear. Thx for changing it tho

Aww, I was hoping Marcus' squaddie Bertolt would get to drive for us. Was even going to name the Chimera "Lucky Lucy" if I had the chance. In any case Ill try to get a post up later today. Is the entirety of Marcus' squad going to be separated from him?
