Cecilia curled her index finger over her chin, torn as to whether or not she should go change to her swimsuit or not. She definitely didn't want to get her normal clothes wet, but felt as though changing was a bit much for something that didn't necessarily involve swimming. She turned to James an Neric, still contemplating her decision for a second before speaking, feeling she might as well let them know. "I don't think I'll be changing my clothes. Not sure if I'll regret it later, but it might help motivate me to keep us above water," she said with a bit of a chuckle. You can change if you want, James. But if not, we can already get our life jackets."

"Alright, I doubt we'll be tipping over or anything. So I don't think swimsuits are needed, unless you actually intend to swim after." *James would smile as he got up with her, walking with her to get the life jackets for the both of them as the counselors asked. He'll have to see if they have the ones for his size or not, hopefully they do or he'll have to stick with what he gets. Not a problem though, he can swim but it's good for safety reasons. Can't be too prepared for the unforeseen as Neric put it. Which brings up Neric talking in his head again, James shaking his head during the walk as he grunts a bit. Talking softly as it was something he didn't want Cecilia to hear, though she may be able to* "Please no... let's not think those thoughts." *The Void laughing a bit in his head at this as he sighs*

@Vampy"alright" max said internally thanking the gods and counselors that he didn't have to wear a swim suit. He walked over to the pile of life jackets and he looked for on that fit. After a few minutes he found one. He slipped it on and went to go back and sit down.

At the cabin Valencia throws her backpack on her bed and slides her suitcase in frond of her from underneath the bed. She opens it and her swimsuit was right on the top. Valencia laid it on her bed and slides the case back. Then she walked over to the window and closed the
curtains and began to change her self. Her swimsuit was a black bikini with a red outline. Valencia looked at her self in the mirror and puts on a dark blue zip-hoodie. All done she decided to leave her backpack since it wasn't needed and walked back to the fire pit. On her way she saw that most of the others got their life jackets already. Valencia walked over to get on that fits her. With the life jacket in her hand she walked over to where Max was sitting.@BlueflameI'm back. she said with a softer voice.

@Vampy"wow" was all max said as he turned and faced her. 'wow she looks amazing' max thought to him self as he scooted over so she could sit down.

Max's reaction caused that a blush to appear on Valencia's face. Thanks she said as she sits down next to him. She laid her life jacked on the ground next to her. I hope that the activity starts soon. she said as she waited for the counsellors to explain more about it.

Cecilia was able to catch James' faint grunts and a word or two, unclear on what could be the matter. She knew Neric was "in his head" in a manner of speaking, but that was only one possibility, however likely. "James?... Is something wrong?" she eventually asked after thinking about it further, a concerned face as she picked a life jacket her size and fitted her arms through it. "It's okay if you don't want to tell me, but... well, you seemed bothered by something back there," she said, fastening each latch on the front of her jacket one at a time. For a few seconds, she imagined a scenario where this jacket would be most useful, one involving raging rapids. The more she thought of it, the more anxious she would get. She hoped they could start soon, preferably before she psychs herself out.

*James would get his life jacket, try it on to make sure it was right before keeping it. Looking to Cecilia as she asks her question, biting his lower lip gently as he shakes his head* "It was Neric, but he was more along the lines of picking on me and such. Not in a bad way..." *Making sure to say the last part so she knows he isn't trying to cause problems, it was mostly just Neric teasing him about a thought. Though he himself didn't think it, Neric put the idea in his head as he sighs* "He was umm..." *Speaking softer so that his words aren't heard by anyone else, to a point that he was even nervous about saying it. And his voice proves it* "Teasing me about you in a swimsuit..." *He sighs softly again, his eyes not meeting hers. He was feeling embarrassed by the thought, and the Void is being relatively quiet as of right now as he start for where they are suppose to go with Cecilia once she is ready*

"He wha-?!" Cecilia's voice caught in her throat as her cheeks flashed red, her right hand a few inches from her mouth. She wasn't expecting something like this, and least of all from Neric. But she was more embarrassed than angry, having not been in many situations like this. "W-well th-that's um..." she began to speak stammeringly before growing silent, not wanting to cause a scene. She hadn't considered what anyone would think of seeing her in a swimsuit, although she usually felt a little antsy whenever she did wear one. She rather subconsciously put her right hand over her left shoulder and her left hand to the right side of her waist for a few moments while she looked away. "Umm, it's nothing that special..." she muttered faintly before speaking up, her face away from James so he couldn't see just how flustered she was. "W-w-we should get in place to board a canoe. I'd like to be at the back... i-if that's okay," she stuttered out.

*Her words and actions made him flinch a bit, he didn't think the thought. Neric brought it up. But he knew better then to say anything, but he did. Nodding slightly, keeping his eyes from Cecilia. He felt bad about the situation now, not wanting to cause more problems as he spoke* "Ya... let's go. Sorry for bringing it up..." *James would sigh after, continuing on ahead from her. He would have to deal with Neric later, that was something that was not needed at the time. Thankfully the Void is being quiet, but why he wouldn't know. Heading for the canoes, but he didn't think Cecilia was too happy with either of them at the current time. And he wasn't going to push anything for a good while, but physical looks right now showed he wasn't feeling or doing the best now*

Cecilia couldn't be angry at either of them, but was certainly caught off guard. If anyone told her that a being of dark shroud, perhaps of otherworldly origin would tease about girls in swimsuits, she'd... well first of all think that person was crazy for suggesting such beings existed, but also reject the notion that voids could understand that kind of thing. Maybe Neric developed a sort of mischievous side over the years. Or perhaps he and James are so connected that they share thoughts or something, maybe even feelings. If that was the case... Cecilia shook her head frantically, not wanting to let her imagination get the better of her again. At the same time, she didn't feel like having an awkward silence punctuate their first event together. "I-It's okay guys... I just got caught off guard. Don't beat yourselves up... But if you want to make it up to me, you can help make sure our canoe is the right side up by the end, alright?" she said with a bright smile on her face as she walked alongside James and placed her hand on his shoulder. If he looked at her, he would see her blushing still. However, she didn't seem to care at the moment.

*James would smile back at her as she spoke, she's a very kind hearted girl. And he knew that's why Neric liked her, well in a sense at least. Neric's only been around people that would despise people with powers or reject people that are hosts to Voids, but she's shown something that Neric is starting to understand better. Caring and consideration. James would nod, his blush barely there but still there as he spoke* "Wouldn't dream of it, but I promise to not let it flip or anything. But if it does, I'm pulling you to land as quick as I can." *James chuckling afterwards, thinking as he continued alongside her. Looking forward to the event as he looked back forward, thinking to try and stray from the past topic* "So how far do you think they want us to go?"

Cecilia giggled a little. She never heard a promise followed directly by a concession upon the event of it's failure before. "Thanks James. I can swim, but if we run into some rapids, I'll be counting on you," she joked, albeit more to mask her tinge of nervousness over what she had pegged as the worst case scenario the last time she thought about it. She pondered his question, looking ahead as she did so. "I'm not sure exactly. I wouldn't think they'd pick out a very long course, since many of us are probably inexperienced. But maybe if the water's calm and the course simple, hmm... I'm not sure," she admitted, then turning to him. "What do you think?"

*James chuckles with her words, ya he would make sure she came out alright during this event if things take a turn for the worst. Thinking back on the canoeing, he was hoping there would be some length to it. Thinking it may be fun. Shaking his head back and forth from left to right as he thought on the question, he honestly answered back as he looked to Cecilia* "Actually I'm hoping there is a good length to the course, though with time and everything it may not happen. I just think this may be fun, why I want it to last a good while before we stop." *James says as he smiles at Cecilia, but looking back ahead here and there to not be rude and stare*

"You can can row facing each other. We would suggest not doing that. It's better to face the same direction so that you can see where your going. However this does make communication harder. One of you needs to hold the canoe while the other gets in. It can be tricky getting the second person into the canoe so please let us know if you need help." the counselors explained.

Kyle gave the girl a shy dmile. He wasn't as outgoing as his sister. But he was glad someone has chosen him for their partner. "My name is Kyle. I'll hold the boat while you get in. I can control water so I shouldn't have too difficult for me to get in." He explained as he put on his life jacket. It was in the nature to take care of others. He checked an Ivy who was bouncy around as far from the water.

"In that case I hope it lasts a long time too," Cecilia said smilingly, stepping onto the narrow wooden dock along the side of the calm water, the canoes lined up and ready for departure. She looked down at one, the paddles they'd be using placed neatly and plainly on it while a simple rope can be seen tying the boat to the dock. Getting on sounded like a simple enough task, but she didn't think it wise to just jump on immediately. "Hmm... Would you like to get on first, James? I can help keep it steady for you. Just remember I'd like to be at the back, okay?" she reminded him pleasantly, standing by the stern with her hands behind her.

"want me to hold the boat so you can get in" Max said standing up and faced her as he held out his hand for her too get up. "well sense I can get in the boat easier with my power " max said kinda nervous most people where scared of his power but she said it sounded cool.

Edmond nodded as Helena explained that this place was safe. "Well I know this place is safe but...I just don't like water." Edmond shivers at the memory of getting splashed when he was by the pool. Hopefully if he stayed calm he'll be ok. Edmond was thinking about how the water felt when suddenly Helena mentioned something about his fire. He looked to her with a raised eyebrow then he remembered. "Oh, that was well...fuel. When every I ignite my flames that stuff leaks out of my veins, making the fire spread. My blood is made up of fuel and a mixture of blood, so when ever I get injured when I'm on fire my blood turns into fule." Usually people don't catch that detail.

*James smiles and nods, standing by the front of the canoe with his hands at his sides* "Actually do you wanna get in first? If what the counselors said is true then I don't want you falling in due to my behalf." *He would say politely, trying to be a gentleman. He knew that getting the other person in would be tricky and sometimes with new people it would end up with them in the water or the canoe tipping over. Him kneeling and holding the canoe in place, looking back over to her for her response. If she really was eager for him to get in first he wouldn't complain or continue. His wound opening up as the black cloud follows from his hand and seeps into the water, disappearing under the waves as James chuckles and shakes his head* "No funny ideas Neric."

At Edmond's explanation of his powers, Helena clapped her hands together and called triumphantly, "I was right! Well kind of!" It made sense that he would have to have a way to control the amount of fire and where it would ignite, and a fuel was the most logical explanation. "That's pretty cool, Ed. Can you control how much you create?" The young girl was really fascinated by his powers. Usually in the comics and television when people caught on fire through powers there wasn't a clear reason in how they could control their powers. She was glad Edmond had a way to control his fire, or possibly something that interrupted control.
