Wow, so many posts, so fast. I'll make one or two full example CSes, probably by tomorrow, and hopefully that should clear up some misunderstandings. I'll post a mecha real quick though since that seems to be the biggest issue.
@Jerkchicken Your skills and stats are good, though I'm not sure why you have die notation on your robot there. Your mecha seems to be built correctly, though Origin is meant to be more of a "how this mech came to be/entered the character's possession". You'll also need a concept for your character, and you should add a little explanation for each of your relationships.
@Raineh Daze Whoa there, friend, you seem like you're getting a little flustered. I'll do my best to explain things.
In order:
-A part is an abstract section of your mecha that shares a specific set of capabilities. I'll be making example characters to demonstrate, so don't worry.
-Jerkchicken's character is actually kosher
-Size categories are also abstract, much like Super Robot Wars size categories. To put it simply:
0: Human, Tekkaman, Size SS
1: Scopedog, Rideback, Size S
2: Mazinger Z, Mobile Suit, Size M
3: Bigs, Getter Robo, Size L
4: Ultraman, Most five-part combiners like Combattler, Size XL
5: Metroplex, MOGUERA, Size XXL
-I have never once seen anyone attempt to use a Size 1 or 0 for their Mecha, so I stopped including it in the rules. I mean, if you really want to play a Tekkaman or Ride Armor because you enjoy those things feel free to do so at no additional cost but I've never actually seen anyone do it for those reasons. I guess they just don't think small mechs are very cool.
-Trying to win at a cooperative storytelling system is a little boring, so maybe you should just make something you think is cool and not worry too much.
-Size actually has the exact same point cost as all other extras.
@Keyblade87 Good on you, friend. I'm here to answer any questions you have, so feel free to ask if you don't understand.
@clanjos Another quick one! Your skills and stats are good, as are your relationships. Please list your hit locations in the form of which locations they actually cover- that is to say, 1-4, 5-7, 8-10 instead of 4, 3, 3. Please also list how many points you have. Sorry, I wasn't expecting to start the game before I had gotten an example sheet together, but people seemed impatient. I'll put up a mecha example in just a minute. Until you list the point numbers, I can't really approve the robot, sorry. It's very nice, though.
@FallenTrinity To start with, you're way under budget on stats, and you're way
over budget on skills. Please list your relationships and concept. You do not have to list your armaments or features, those go under hit locations as explained in the Mecha section. Size is a number from 2-5.
Also, please don't make up new rules, you're going to confuse your fellow players.
