I kinda follow a guide and envision a persona in my head. Like I ask myself questions and how that persona would answer is what I write down.

@Pudding I don't have a feel for how the character will answer questions until after using them, most of the time. They sorta wake up, shake themselves out, and slowly become more confident in who they are. ^.^;;

I enjoy doing character sheets, but I prefer to make them for my own setting. As I've already mentioned too, I tend to have my whole character fleshed out before role-playing starts. I also don't consider a character 'ready' for my project until they're at the completely fleshed out level with a fully established personality and history, though I use role-play to experiment with them sometimes to see if I like how they've ended up, and to prove I can use them well.

If you check out my character sheet thread, you'll see some of (since several have made no appearance or gotten mentioned yet) characters I've made for this site. While I've hidden a lot of the details of each of them to avoid revealing too much, and both were created for rather basic role-plays here, I actually came up with everything you see there in a few minutes for each of them.

I'm not a very organized, methodical, or clean person, but I find it doesn't take much effort to just clean a plate or whatever right after using it. Due to that, ever since moving into a place on my own the sink is seldom ever full of much.

@Shoryu Magami It does. At least, for me. But I'm hardly well-adjusted. ^.^ Cleaning is a particular weakness of mine. Also I hate anything greasy or gooey or sticky and I'm not fond of damp either.

Even though my place is constantly dusty, I hate having any sort of dirty or unclean feeling on my hands -- I actually despise sand and going to the beach for this reason. That's one of the reasons I tend to clean things immediately after use, so nothing ever builds up like that.

@Shoryu Magami man, if I could view it like that cleaning would be so much less of a chore. -.- I love sand, though -- as long as I'm /at/ the beach.

It's considerably easier to think like this if you live alone, since you don't have other people's mess building up.

Anyway, I managed to post IC again -- really don't know how I feel about still role-playing here with all my shit going on.
