@NekoMizu That's a big if. I've had a hell of a time getting bluetooth headsets to work with PCs that don't have bluetooth built in. Its more of a hassle than its worth most of the time -.-

Interesting headset, I've seen things like that on PC. I don't know how they'd work on once given I've yet to use that type, I'm sure it's possible and a few simple searchs on google and or youtube could help you with that.

It basically requires a bluetooth dongle to work with his computer, but if my experiences are anything to go by, the results are horrible and so's the sound. Mine was a headset made for phones, and it would connect, then disconnect the second it was interrupted by ANY signal from anything else. His PS4's mic would probably work better due to its dongle that's similar to the Playstation Gold headset. A designated dongle that'll only respond to the device. Now we just need to find him a working PS4 headset that fits the requirements (and trust me, we've scoured the internet...).

Ailyn mentioned my PS4 headsets potentially being more reliable on the PC. Considering they don't really work on the PS4, I could try that.

I honestly haven't learned to properly portray my speech pattern over to text, so I end up sounding more formal than I really do.

Me and Ailyn met long before I joined RPGuild, although we did meet through role-playing forums. We've known each other for over five years.

I can relate to that first statement as well. I'm usually pretty formal when I speak and people often say that I have a "regal disposition" about me. I'm often terrified of offending people and I tend to find that as the owner of the Guild's Discord server, there are a quite a few who will act hostile towards me solely for that reason and the result is this nice "flowery" talks of sorts.

And that's incredible that you two met through Roleplaying! My former SO and I also knew each other through Roleplaying, but we weren't able to work it out like you two are doing.

I sort of get the vibe you're talking about, in terms of the 'regal'/'flowery' speech. On my end, I definitely come across more formal in text just because I'm not used to writing my exact way of talking; however, I want to change that since the main protagonist of my story is pretty much a complete avatar of me.

Also, I don't have anything against the Discord chat itself, but due to a very big regular of it (who also happens to be a very popular member of this site to the best of my knowledge) having left an incredibly bad first impression with me - which did not improve over time, honestly - I've avoided taking a look at it myself.

And huh, really? As the owner of the server, I can honestly say that I've never heard your name brought up before. And even if you were against it, I have no hard feelings towards that matter. I'm friends with plenty of people who hate the idea. I'm more traditional when it comes to socializing - I don't care where we chat or what we chat about, so long as it's interesting and meaningful.

Are you struggling with sleeping? Yogurt and Isochronic binary beats have always helped me, so mayhaps it'd benefit you?

Insomnia is the cause, I'd love to try that combo but I have no yogurt, I could listen to the beats in turn. That might help, I ran out of my sleep stuff last night, have something that calms me but as a side effect makes me tired, I used that before and I could again. Probably should honestly.

I had insomnia for so many years of my life that I ended up developing an irrational fear that I'd never sleep again at one point and I can honestly say that Isochronic Beats have never failed me. Hot or warm baths are also wonderful for relaxing nerves and making a person tired. Also, I learned in Psychology class (disclaimer: I don't know how true this is), that people are affected by the light that hits their eyelids. The more you sit in darkness, the more tired you naturally get as your brain biologically determines.

Ah, right. I'm messing with that character sheet, though I really do think this character is 'too powerful' for that role-play despite all my best attempts to tone it down a lot compared to the characters in my project.

Well if it makes you feel any better, I don't find you intimidating. Honestly, a lot of people find me rather intimidating too, just because I'm very forthright with direct with people -- apparently being confident in yourself and saying it like it is makes you automatically 'hostile' in this era. I've probably made far less effort to not offend people than you have.

You probably didn't hear my name there -- honestly, I doubt this person has ever even thought about me since it happened, but the way they behaved in the C-box really pissed me off and I did tell them off about it (this happened on my first week here). We've never had any contact since then, but some of their behaviour in a few posts on the site have been rubbing me the wrong way. I also have people trying to get me into Discord itself a lot, and frankly I find the program annoying so far. I'm only going to do it for my 'Guardian Ascension' discussion channel because Skype has too many issues. I completely agree with you about the view you just expressed towards socializing.
