Okay, so I feel like this should go without saying, but just to be totally, completely, one hundred percent sure; these civilians are not real, correct? I mean, they're solid light holograms capable of hurting us, sure, but they aren't flesh and blood human beings, or, at least, Alex doesn't think that they are, yeah? Because it would be responded to differently by her if they are, I mean realistically she's capable of just ripping human equivalents (size, strength, toughness, whatever) to literal bits if she wants to, and would be willing to light up holograms with what to biological organisms would constitute lethal force without question, but she would not be willing to harm random people and thus would, to be sure, react rather differently. Again, though, I obviously think they're not human beings, as I assume Alex also believes, seeing as they seemingly came from out of nowhere, but I'm just making sure that these holos didn't feel the need to open the literal door and walk in like normal humans would have to, but rather simply materialized in the control room and assaulted a couple teenagers without provocation beyond poor taste in music before I proceed with my post.
