Right as the fist connected with her face, Anna disappeared instantly, appearing again with her gun raised. Блядь! She cursed in her mind, firmly aiming down the sight but with a look of hesitance, only more evident as she witnessed what appeared to be horns sprouting from the boy's head. These supers are more powerful than the last ones I killed. I don't stand a chance against them alone! She had no choice but to retreat. Hopefully, her superiors would be lenient.

Suddenly, she was caught up by the ghastly wind disappearing again, this time for good.

Evelyn didn't have time to grab anything and was blown back by the maelstrom, slamming down onto a garbage dumpster with a yelp. "Oww..." She lied there groaning, fishing a badly crumpled cigarette from her jeans and popping it into her lips. "I picked a bad day for a hangover..."

Ayeka is depress she could not protect the others as she took cover from the sniper. The wind and snows swirls around her as it protects her from the powerful wind wind from flying into something. She notices the shadow boy growing horns before hiding in the shadows. She walks over to the girl in leather to help her up. One of hands start to glow as she wanted to heal the blood soak girl she help of the ground.

Nara drifted in and out of consciousness. She finally sits up, brushing away her straight dark brown hair out of her face and wiping off the dust from her white jeans.
"What-where...Oh! Where's the hunter?" Nara got up from the ground quickly, stumbling into a nearby wall and holding it in her dizziness. She notices everyone scattered around the place and sighs in relief.
"You guys okay?" She shouts out, being genuinely concerned for once.

"Ugh...thanks, Snowflake." Evelyn muttered weakly taking the girl's hand and getting up, small winces of pain shooting through her nerves here and there. She flicked her lighter, but the damn thing wouldn't spark. Frustrated, she tossed it aside with a "Tch." Along with her cigarette.

"Well...I'm glad you guys got to meet that sweet little girl." Evelyn muttered sarcastically to the others while dusting herself off. "She's Russian, she's got a shitload of guns...and she's out to kill us all for being a bunch of super losers, no offense. She'll be back. Trust me. Anna never forgets her targets."

Kurai looked up in panick. "Are the horns still there? Oh crap. This is bad...I shouldn't have come, you idiot! Oh no, this isn't right everything is messed up the balance of the..." He sat down, holding his head in his hands. "Satan is going to kill me!" The shadows patted him on the shoulder, comforting him. "Do you guys have a place I could hang in for a while?"

Nara nears the others. "What should we do shall then? Have tea and share our super powers for the world to hear, therefore attracting us more people out to kill losers, therefore dying? Or you guys suggest finding a hiding spot where we can bide our time and plan?"
She draws a dagger out of her boot and holds it up in the light. It is elaborate in the way that it is glass, inside contained winds swirl around.

Evelyn cocked an eyebrow at Kurai mentioning something about Satan. She didn't believe in any of that religious nonsense, but she had to admit that was pretty fucking metal. "Well there's my crummy ass apartment." She suggested. "But I don't feel like housing a bunch of wanted criminals, plus my landlord's a dick."

She paused feeling a cool sensation against her skin and looked down at the sad girl trying to heal her. "It's all good, Elsa." Evelyn said with a wry smile, her cuts and bruises fading away. She turned back to the others. "The chick's right though. We stay out here, we're dead. I don't know why supers are being targeted, but it's gotta be for one hell of a reason."

"I know a place, There's a bunch of abandoned warehouses about West from here. I've been there a few times with a friend. We can pick and choose one but I don't know if there are any dangers we may come across" Nara suggested, frowning. She twirls the dagger absentmindedly around her fingers and scuffs her ankle boot against the ground, thinking.

"That sounds ok, it can by us sometime to come up with a plan." Ayeka says as she stops healing the girl that just called her Elsa. She have a feeling that the shadow boy is not going to hurt them right now. She is not in the mood to tell them her real name as they have serious problems at the moment to deal with.

Evelyn snickered to herself shaking her head. To think, a bunch of supers on the run living in a warehouse. Next thing she knew, it would probably have a bunch of computer monitors and shit. But of course she knew she couldn't face Anna alone, especially not after....

Stop it!

She gave herself a mental shake from the dark menories creeping upon her, stretching with a bored yawn and rolling her eyes, "Sounds good to me. Our first secret lair. Next we can all team up and fight crime or some bullshit."

Elsewhere, Anna reappeared at the top of a building overlooking the city. She sat on the edge with a sigh, her legs dangled over. The assassin failed again. She failed to kill Evelyn, only this time the bitch had help. Anna frowned. She knew they would be angry with her. They'd probably kill her right then and there, one bullet to the head. Done. Or worse...they would let Maria get a hold of her.

Speaking of Maria...

"Hehehe oh Annie!~" The mischievous laughter behind her tensed her nerves. She froze, barely able to react quick enough to stop the psychotic blue haired girl from grabbing Anna by her frail neck. "Gotcha!" Maria cackled pinning Anna against the wall, Anna wrenching and writhing in that clawed, metallic glove of hers, how she hated those claws gracing her bare flesh. She looked into the woman's fiendish, electric blue eyes, the only eyes that ever struck fear in the short Russian.

"Master's pretty pissed at you, Anna!" Maria hissed beneath her gas mask. "This is like what, the fourth, no, FIFTH time you let that bitch get away! Your aiming must really suck!" She laughed in Anna's face, relishing the fear in Anna's eyes. "Hehehe you know..." Maria snickered with a lurid smirk, raising her other clawed fingers to tickle Anna's chin. Anna winced. "It's too bad Master won't let me play with you anymore. We had so much fun, didn't we?"

Fun? Last Anna recalled, fun didn't mean an endless night of horrific pain and torture, among other sordid acts she'd rather not speak of. Maybe to a sadistic fuck like Maria, but not her. Anna had enough finally. Lifting her foot, she kicked Maria square in the stomach. Maria grunted, her grip loosening from Anna. "Agh! You little bitch!" Maria snarled, surges of lightning arcing across her metal claws. "I'm gonna tear you up anyways!"

She would have, had it not been for...

"Maria! Leave her be. I'll deal with her."

Somebody else Anna feared more than Maria...

Kurai's skin was starting to become sallow, and he looked weak. "Um..,I might have a small problem with moving. You see, when Lucifer gets tired, I get really tired." He started to slump forwards, and fell onto the ground. His face was a small mask of pain, and it was obvious that he was unconscious.

"Oh god." Nara sighs. "Someone help me." She encircles a hand around Kurai's arm and pulls him up, staggering a big from his weight. She slings his arm around her shoulder and starts walking a bit.
"Follow me." She says over her shoulder at the others

Evelyn didn't really react much to Kurai's fainting. The kid was already showing signs he was about to kill over. She shrugged slipping her arm around Kurai's other side helping Nara carry him. "Heh, damn! He looks like me after a Blacktooth Grin." Evelyn chuckled. "C'mon Be'elzebub. Let's get you somewhere safe. Ain't no telling when Annie Oakley's psycho cousin's coming back." Really she hoped that bitch stayed away for good.

It was him, the one they called....Master.

In all her life, only one man could strike such crippling fear into her heart. Anna stood before him, tall, white haired cut short and spiky, half his face covered by a black surgical mask. To gaze into his cold, black eyes, twas as though Anna peered into the gaping jaws of Hell itself.

"Well Anna?" He spoke sternly crossing his arms. Anna shivered in his shadow, hesitantly answering in sign language, "I...I tried to kill them, but there were too many. They were stronger too, not like the other supers we've hunted down."

"Jeez Hellen Keller, don't talk so loud!" Maria giggled mocking her, only gaining a stern glare from Master. He resumed turning to Anna, "Either way, you failed again to eliminate your targets. I will notify Director Stone and see if further punishment is necessary. For now...you have one last chance. Kill them, or it will be your head on the chopping block." And with that he turned and walked away, leaving Anna frozen in such horrific dismay. "Let's go, Tesla. Don't keep me waiting."

Maria was about to leave till she looked at Anna paralyzed with fear. A sadistic, sharp toothed grin inched its way across her lips as she sauntered over, leaning in and whispering ever so fiendishly in Anna's ear, "Maybe when they kill you, Master will let me play with your corpse. Do Svidaniya, my Russian Cupcake!~" Her serpent tongue licked Anna's cheek, causing the poor girl to shudder immensly.

"Maria, hurry up!" Master called irritated.

"I'm coming god dammit! Keep your pants on, Master! Jeez!"

Anna stood there, petrified still. One chance...that's all she was given, one last chance to put a bullet in the heads of those damn supers...or have one find its way into her head. Once Master and Maria were gone, Anna did what she always would when they weren't around. She fell to her knees on the ground...crying... Tears streamed fown her face, hot, painful tears that burned her eyes bloodshot. She wept, curling her legs up to her and burying her face in her knees. If anything, death was less of a punishment...

....and more of a blessing...

Nara starts walking towards the west. She sees the cluster of warehouses in the distance and gestures towards them.
"There's our place." Nara smiles. She quickens her pace and reaches the row.
"So...which one? 1,2,3,4 or 5?" She asks the others.

Ev looked at the warehouses with a weary glance. They were staying here? In this dump? The windows, old and brown, were busted out, a few cantankerous crows flying out as the rusted metal creaked and groaned in the chilling breeze. To Evelyn, it looked like some place she saw in a torture porn movie.

"Home, sweet home." She muttered dropping her arm from Kurai. "At least my apartment had air conditioning. Are we seriously crashing here, Airhead?" She gave a questionable look to Nara. Beggars couldn't be choosers however, and with their given situation, they needed a place to lay low.

Nara huffs out a sigh once she hears Evelyn's disgruntled grumble.
"Well then would you like to stay at my house? Yes it has air conditioning but also yes, it has my annoying little brother and sister plus my parents who are always...great" Nara smiles a grim smile "answer is no. So yes we are staying here and yes let's hope we don't get killed" She states firmly. She's holding all of Kurai's weight now and is struggling.
"Oh come on! Wake up, Kurai!" She shakes his arm and sighs. "The idiot" She mumbles.
"Well?" She gestures towards the warehouses.
Number 1 is dark, the windows are nailed up with pieces of plywood and it seems like anything could be hiding in the shadows. Number 2 is considerably lighter, theres a few shafts of light shining through the broken wood. Number 3 looks the most broken, broken glass, broken door, maybe not the best choice. Numbers 4 and 5 look around the same. Large warehouses with a bit of light and a fair amount of dust and piles of stuff.

"Fine then." Ev shrugged heaving a bitter sigh. To her, they all looked like shit, but if she had to choose, four would be the best. It just looked less shitty...but still wasn't no mansion by the sea. "We'll take four. I'll go in and scope the place out. Stay here with Ice Queen and Devil Boy." Warehouse four, their new digs. Evelyn approached the large metal door, pulling it back with all her might. Immediately the musty odor of dirt and rust stung her nostrils. She peered inside. Nothing much to the place but some stacks of old crates and large metal shipping containers. Ain't no telling how long this place had been abandoned.

"Hmm...looks alright." She said scanning the place up and down. No sign of Anna or anyone else who was gunning for their heads. Ev went to return to Nara, but as she moved ahead, something caught her by the foot. Ev yelped falling to the ground, kicking up a cloud of thick sawdust. "Oww...son of a bitch! Who the hell...? Huh?" Ev blinked in amazement. What she had tripped over was a metal handle in the floor. She hopped up calling over to the others, "Hey guys! Come check this out!"

Ayeka had to wait outside with shadow boy and the other girl as the chick in leather went to check out the warehouse. To her they could shape or do something with it. Then she heard a scream as she helps Nara to carry shadow boy into the warehouse to set Shadow boy down before check out what the blood chick found, to her it may lead through a trap door.

Nara put Kurai down with a thud. She nudged him with her foot. "Dude, do you really want to be left alone on the dusty floor while we go check out the trapdoor?" When he didn't respond she nudged him again ands sighed, pouting a bit "Such a party pooper"
She walks over to Evelyn. "What is it now?" She examined Evelyn who was hopping up and down on one foot and got down to touch the handle, her hand came away stained with rust. She rubbed them on the hem of her shirt.

Evelyn looked down at the handle, examining it even further as the shooting pain in her foot subsided. Sure enough, she could see the faint outline of a door hidden in the dirt. She reached for the handle and grabbed it, pulling on it as hard as she could. "Ugh! Damn this thing's heavy!" Evelyn grunted. It wouldn't budge almost, but soon she pulled the door open giving a mighty yank.

Before them, the path was dark, a set of stairs leading underground into a black abyss. "I'll go first." Evelyn said to the others. "Ya know. Just to make sure there ain't some kind of giant spider down here or something." And into the dark she disappeared climbing down the stairs. The deeper she went, the light slowly receded until Evelyn couldn't even see her nose in front of her face.

She stumbled in the dark corridor leaning against the wall. Suddenly, she felt something metallic grace her fingers. A light switch?

Ev flipped it on. Before her very eyes, the lights flickered on one by one, and she found herself standing in the middle of a gigantic room, the walls lined with several upon several flat screen monitors that glowed a fluorescent shade of blue. There were insane amounts of computers and technology everywhere she looked. It was like a military base...underground.

"Woah.... Guys...you should...totally check this out!"

She was only bluffing when she thought about the super losers having a secret lair, but this....Evelyn practically ate her own words.
