Yugi walked with Shadow as he saw such shadows the Genie spoke off, the ones that he was afraid of. He stayed close to Shadow as she told him what she did and why. He could see the shame she was showing and shook his head. "Its okay. Dont be ashamed. You were doing the right thing. I know i won't always understand it but you are doing what you believe is right. You were helping people do good again. Im proud of you." wanting to reassure her of that. He honestlt was proud of her. Granted made sure to becareful where he walked within the puzzle but understood why they were here.

"Sometimes, I feel like I'm not necessarily doing that right thing, puzzle-solver", she admitted. "To remove these shadows, it becomes painful, because it hurts the host, both physically and spiritually. Sometimes, they may never recovered afterwards. I mean, I don't mean to cause such pain, to which is why I feel regretful in performing this task. Even while I know it's for their own good...", there was sadness in the genie's voice as she continued to walk with the boy through the halls of the Puzzle. "...it feels cruel."

"Like I said, Yugi, I'm a shadow myself. I belong to someone, but she's long gone", that sadness was still there. "She was so nice yet I represent the negative side of her personality", that was when she stopped walking. "She was the only family I had."

Yugi couldnt help but feel saddened with how she took shadows. To know how it would be, the feeling of it and how she didnt like it. He wouldnt want her to do it if it hurt her like that, especially with others. He knew he would never want to witness such a thing. Yugi listened to her talk about her own host, the person she was a shadow of. How she was the only family she had.

Stopping with her, the tri-colored boy reached out and grabbed her hand gently. Held it and stodd there silently, letting the silence fall between. He didnt want to but felt it was necessary. Then he walked closer, giving her a hug. One of comfort. An understanding of sort when it came to family. Like how grandpa was the only family he has left. He hugged her a little tighter. "Its okay. It will be okay. Maybe we can find her together somehow. If not, thats fine. I can be part of your family right? And grandpa? Its not fair to be alone. No one should have to go through that."

She didn't say anything further, even while she listened to Yugi's promise of finding her host. In the term of her host to be "long gone", she meant both in the past and present, in terms of time. Almost thirty years ago, her "sister" and host was killed on that fateful night, until she herself suffered the same a few years after. Now, they were resurrected in the monster cards of Pegasus' game. She felt her sister to be far away, so far away, in the rich man's deck. However, with Yugi's suggestion to find her, it was like he had managed to read her mind.

Then she felt physical contact from the boy. Of course, he would have to be on his tippy-toes, in order to get his arms around her shoulders, and just hold her, tightly in his way of showing comfort. It took a moment to register the message, but then she reciprocated it by closing her red eyes, and relaxing into the touch. It felt like it was the first time, in a long time, to be given such affection. To make his hug easier, and a bit more comfortable, the genie sat on the ground, hesitantly and reluctantly lifted her hands, and gently placed them on his small back, returning it. "Of course", her voice slightly cracking, letting out her feelings, in accepting her owner to be part of her family. Same with the spirit.

Though Yugi was a foot shorter than Shadow and had to be on his tip toes to wrap his arms around her shoulders, he honestly didn't care. All he cared about was showing Shadow that she was not alone. That she had him too to help her and could come to him for anything, be if it was the most simplist of things such as talking to wanting to be in his company, even if it was to be Soul room. He would be fine with that. He also thought the Spirit, Yami to be part of their little misfit family, and when he got the chance, would tell him so and that he would be here for him as Yami has been for him and Shadow.

Shadow having gone to sitting down and Yugi did feel a little more comfortable with hugging Shadow still, but took to notice her voice change and something that Yugi only continue to hug her, allowing her to let it out if she so wanted, not knowing how long it had been since she had such affection and or physical contact. "It's okay." He was glad to call her family.

For Yugi to be so kind, Shadow could only let one tear fall from one of her red eyes as she gave in. He was becoming a really, really good friend to her so far, and it only made her become even more determined into protecting him and granting him whatever he wanted. It would be all for him. She knew that Yami would do the same; as long as she had known him (including during the past life), the spirit would do the same.

Her emotions became so empathetic, her tall form began to shift into that of a pale, teenaged girl; having to be bare-footed, with long purple-and-blue hair, replacing her ponytail. She was shorter than her duel monster form by about a foot, but she still had the eyes that resembled the genie. "Thank you", she said, a sad smile on her face.

Yugi smiled as if coming to know that Shadow could confide in him like she was now, he did this for all his friends and Shadow, even Yami will be no different. Giving a short small squeeze of comfort before pulling away to see her face only to see Shadow in a whole new way. This look was so different than what he had just gotten use to.

To see What she looked to be more of a teenage girl around his height maybe even to his age was something he didnt think would happen. A little bit of pink spread on his cheeks and suddenly feeling nervous, Yugi was not use to girls this close. Not like this. Sixteen years old and he could be a little bit close to tea, but crossing over his own line of comfort. Blinking a few times in awe and surprised, Yugi smiled to hide his discomfort and shyness. "Its no problem. You are my friend and now in a way family. If there is anything in my power to help you in any way. Let me know. It doesnt matter how stupid or silly it may sound to you. Okay?" Yugi asks giving them a little bit a a respectful distance.

Shadow looked at her master/owner, and she could only lightly chuckle at his reaction to her transformation. She would be just around Tea's height, only being a few inches shorter, even though she looked sixteen maybe seventeen years old. She gently smiled, and gave him a nod at his reassurance to help her. "And you just remember that if you need me, you know how and where to find me", she said in return, before she began to stand from where she sat, towering over the boy by a few inches; not as intimidating as she was in her duel form though.

Yugi nodded to Shadow, understanding. "I will. Thank you Shadow."

Yami draws his one of his most favored cards. 'Yes! The Dark Magician! This is perfect; there's no way Weevil can resist him as a target!' All right, Weevil. I defend with the Dark Magician!" Yugi plays the card facedown, but says its name anyway. Knowing he would fall for the bait. "Excellent, I'll destroy your very favorite card first! Now, my pet! Power up your laser cannon! Heheheheheheh!" At this point by also getting to look at Weevil's card console the five monster cards Weevil has on the field in this screen are Big Insect, Hercules Beetle, Basic Insect, Gokibore, and Saggi the Dark Clown. The last is definitely a continuity glitch, but it's there. As the bug prepares to attack, a facedown monster on Weevil's display of Yugi's field starts to flash red. Yugi tries not to blink. The moment the bug commits to its attack, Yugi begins to chuckle; Weevil realizes with horror that he has just doomed himself to getting served.

"Hmhmhmhmhmhmhm..." Yami chuckles.

"Wha!! Why are you laughing?!"

"Weevil, you're not the only one who can set a trap card." Yami tells him with a smirk. Weevil was flabbergasted. Yami continue on. "You were so busy grandstanding you paid no attention to the cards I put into play." " But I thought they were all monster c-cards!" Weevil exclaimed.

"Not all. While you loaded the field with your *bug* monsters, I prepared a special surprise the power of my Mirror Force trap card!" The laser cannon fires and Dark Magician appears, along with an iridescent shield of light that deflects the laser blast and refracts it into several lasers that shoot back toward Weevil's field. "Too late, Weevil, you've already ordered your attack on my Dark Magician. And Mirror Force will deflect it right back at you!" The blasts obliterating Weevil's Monster Zone.

(Skip to later on in the Duel....)
Yami draws a card and looks about his field as his Dark Magician went back facedown defence position. 'He didn't trap me then and he's not gonna trap me now. Weevil's trap card will activate as soon as I call an attack, and, it'll destroy all the monsters I have on the field. But, what if I get my monsters off the field first, and then destroy Weevil's trap! Oh, that's it!' Yami had an idea as he put it to work. "I'll spring your trap, Weevil! But first The " Monster Recovery" card! It allows me to call back all the creatures I have on the field! Monsters, return to your cards! Now your trap has nothing to snare. And once my monsters are all safely back in my deck, the Recovery card also lets me draw a new hand." Yami did as he says he's doing by shufflig Dark Magician and Feral Imp back into his deck, and draws five cards. 'Now all I have to do is sacrifice one of my weaker monsters, and your trap is sprung.' The spirit thinks as he then Summons Kuriboh (ATK:300-DEF:200) "Kuriboh! Attack!" Weevil's trap activates. A huge, nasty worm that goes straight for Kuriboh, who soaks up the attack and is destroyed.

"Trap cards only work when they catch you by surprise. Next time don't give your plan away!" Yami advises.

"Heeheeheeheehahahahaha!" The Insect Duelist cackled. "I didn't! I don't give a bee's behind about that stupid trap!" He declares. Yami was confused but then looks at his lifepoints and wonders what happened. "I tricked you into recalling your monsters, so you couldn't attack this!! Weevil flip summons Larvae Moth (ATK: 500-DEF: 400 /ATK: 650-DEF: 520)

Yugi seemed confused but is calm. 'It's just a simple little Larvae Moth. That tiny creature can't be much of a threat. What's Weevil up to now?' He wondered.

"Heheheheheheheh! Sure, he's just a little slug now but the Cocoon of Evolution (ATK: 0-DEF: 2000) will change all that!" Weevil cooed as if the bug was the most precious while be maniacal about it.

Shadow smiled at Yugi, until the thoughts of the spirit began to hit both her and Yugi. It made the genie pause, and shapeshift back into her Duel Monster form; tall and all. "Yami needs some assistance", she pointed out aloud, before looking back at Yugi. "Excuse me, puzzle-solver."

With the spirit struggling, Shadow appeared behind him once again. 'He just can't seem to get over his bugs, can he?', she commented out loud, saying the word "bugs" in a rather disgusted yet annoyed way. That was until she took notice of the Cocoon of Evolution, her eyes widening. "I wouldn't call that tiny thing 'harmless', Yami", she informed the spirit. "That's a power-up card!"

Yami nodded, giving a hum in agreement on the it not being harmless and it being a power-up card. With an unpleasant squishing sound, the Larvae Moth begins to surround itself with silken strands. Only Weevil would think of it as beautiful; Yugi looks kind of grossed out, not to mention nervous as his face twist to show just how disgusted he was with it. "Ugh..."

Jaden and Joey too both looked grossed out as much as Yami was. "Ugh... Thats gross." The two say in unison. Tea and Tristen look look disgusted but dont say a word. Mai, who is in the background, edge of the clearing is watching the two Duelists with interest. The strands continue to build around Larvae Moth, as it twists and writhes. Soon, the strands begin to form into a hard, pinkish shell.

"Behold! My Cocoon of Evolution! Hahahahahaha!" With a loud cackle. "Within that cocoon sits my tiny little Larvae Moth! And over the next five turns he will undergo a startling transformation from harmless caterpillar to unstoppable Great Moth!" Weevil reveled liked it was the most glorious thing ever. Yami drew his card and looked the cocoon with a glare. "Then I'll crack your Cocoon before that happens!" Yami stated as if he was making it his word and priority.

"Easier said than done, Yugi! For my Cocoon of Evolution also gets a field power bonus from the wilderness around us, increasing its defense points! It'll be so strong, you won't even be able to scratch its surface!" His Cocoon going from ATK: 0-DEF:2000 to ATK: 600-DEF:2600.

The Spirit growls in frustration, knowing it would going to be tougher than he thought. "If what Weevil says is true, I'd better act fast. That...thing's...getting bigger and stronger with each passing second!" This was going to be a challenge and Yami knew it, he would need to find a way to get rid of it and so far he only has a few ways and one of them would be Shadow. If he could draw her card and summon her, he would have a chance. But thats after needing to draw her trap card once again. 'I have to find a way to break open that Cocoon now! I can't let that Moth get to its fifth stage of evolution. But do I have a card that strong enough to stop it? Hmm...' Yami looks to his hand and sees Gaia the Fierce Knight (ATK:2300-DEF:2100) 'That's it!' "I summon Gaia, the Fierce Knight! Go Gaia!" Honestly forgetting the power bonus, especially since Gaia doesnt get a power bonus.

Weevil holds a finger up and wags it. "Nah-Uuuuhhh!~" Gaia charges both lances pointed at the cocoon, then stops short. His horse rears back, shying away from the huge cocoon. Jaden sighs. "Its too strong with that Bonus. Come on Yugi!"

Mai starts laughing as she moves up to the small group as they look to her with confused looks. "What are ya' laughing at?" Joey asks. Tea looks frustrated as Mai continues. "All that stupid cheerleading you're doing. You make it sound like your 'Yugi' still has a chance."
Tea speaks up. "He has us, of course he does!" She snaps. Joey grabs her by the shoulders to stop her from doing anything stupid. "Don't listen to 'er Tea.
"Any duelist that's ever gone up against Weevil's Cocoon of Evolution has been totally trashed by it." Mia told them. Yubel looked intrigued as Jaden, Joey and Tristen were surprised. "All of them?" Both Joey and Tristen asked in unison. Mai nods before her attention on Yami. 'He'll need a whole lot more than you losers!'

"Hear it growing?! The more time you waste, the more powerful it becomes!" Weevil passed and the Spirit drew his next card.

'If I don't come up with something quick, I'm not just gonna lose this duel, I'll lose my only chance to save grandpa. There's no way I can let that happen!' Yami looked back to his cards. He places a card face down in the Spell and Trap Zone. He has 4 turns now. 'Maybe I should prepare a defense, in case I really can't stop that thing.' He then places a monster in face down defense position.

"Huh! You're wasting your turn! NO defense will save your lifepoints once my Moth is out!" Weevil declares confidently. Yami looks in thought as both draw their card. Another turn passes and its Yami's again. 'I have to figure out a way to turn this duel around! Weevil's pretty confident that whatever's growing in that cocoon is unbeatable, but there's gotta be some way to pop that thing open-- and wipe that smirk off his face! But how?'

Shadow watched with hesitation as she looked at the amount of time Yami had in coming up with a plan. 'Five turns', he only gets five. She wanted to get angry at Weevil; get him back for antagonizing both Yugi and Yami, by wiping off the arrogant smirk that sticked upon his face. This anger became apparent by the way she tightened in the way she had her arms crossed on her chest, while her teeth were gritting. On the inside, the genie couldn't let her shadow nature get the better of her; like how it did back on the ship. Through that anger, she looked at the enlarging cocoon. She was thinking. Thinking. And thinking.

How were they gonna get out of this?

"Hang in there, Yugi!" Jaden cheered on.
"Ya gotta win this for your grandpa! He's countin' on ya!" Joey cheered next.
Yami sighed, snapped out of his frustration as his shoulders sagged. "I know." he said in defeat.

"Then you can't keep lettin' this little creep push you around! Yugi-- ya gotta get fired up!" Joey shouted. This made Yami straighten his posture, his eyes widen as he looks to Joey and realization. "Thats it! Thanks Joey!" He called back before looking back at the field with new found determination.

Mai looked uninterested. "So d'you guys sit around and work up these lame cheers, or do they just come to you? I mean, don't you realize that your pep-talk nonsense only distracts Yugi from the game?"

Jaden sees Yami with his confidence back and a smile on his face. He looks back to Mai as with a grin. "All right! Well, Mai, from the look on Yugi's face, I'd say that having friends just did help him out. So there!" Being childish and he knew it. But didn't care. Jaden sticks his tongue out at Mai. Mai isn't watching; she's more interested in the duel. 'Brat. What possible idea could Yugi have gotten from these mental morons?' Mai thinks.

"Go!! Curse of Dragon (ATK:2000-DEF:1500)! Take flight!" The Spirit commands as he summons the dragon to the field in Attack mode. He then plays a Spell card. "With this magic card! Attack, with Dragon Flame!" Curse of Dragon breathes fire at the Cocoon; it bounces off, but lights up the ground around the cocoon. Weevil of course is laughing at the pathetic attempt to kill the cocoon. "What do you think you're doing! You know your little firefly can't hurt my Cocoon!"

Yami chuckles. which makes Underwood confused. "What's so funny?!" He demands.

"Whoever said I was aiming for your Cocoon? I combined my Burning Land magic card with my Curse of Dragon, to destroy the forest all around your Cocoon!" The Spirit points out as Weevil looks at the field, looking horrified at the destruction that was brought upon by Yami's dragon. "No forest! That means I lose my field power bonus!"

"Exactly. Your Cocoon was too tough to attack directly-- but without its field power bonus, it's just a big target! Now let's try this again! Gaia, the Fierce Knight!! Attack!" Gaia strikes the Cocoon, and the blow resonates; it's a hit! Joey and the crew are cheering and whooping from Yugi's success. They hear an eerie animal cry and the same gross sloshing. The field around the Cocoon is obscured by dust. Jaden looked surprised. "It's still... still moving...!"

Mai scoffed. "You're surprised?" The creature lifts a leg. It's big, and it's green. And it's definitely moving. The creature wails again, rising up on unsteady limbs. Weevil cackles maniacally. "It must've evolved enough to survive!" Joey deduced from what he was seeing. The rest of the group groaned. "I told you Weevil was good." Mai pointed out.

"I'm impressed that you pierced my Cocoon, Yugi, but still you were unable to stop the evolution of my ultimate insect, the Great Moth(ATK:2600-DEF:2500)!" The little green Larvae Moth has grown up. It's a big green moth as tall as a dueling podium and at least that wide. It has a yellowish horn and antennae, and a jewel-like red feature that may be its only eye. The wings have eye-mimicking patches in yellow and red.

Yami looked stunned, looking at the Moth with wide eyes. "But I thought, it took five turns."

"Heheheheh! So you stopped him one turn early! He's still strong enough to beat you!" Weevil gloated.

It was about to become very frustrating for Shadow to even find some way to prevent the uprising of Weevil's Great Moth. However, she didn't expect Yami to burn down the element around them, in order to slow down the bonus points of the creature. For once, she felt herself in not being able to point that out for the spirit. It was the perfect strategy! "Nice shot", the genie complimented him, having to already be quite impressed. She smiled at Yami proudly, until the cocoon managed to break, and reveal the grotesque monstrosity of a bug.

Could it get any worse? It only managed to escape before the fifth turn was made; Shadow was just as stunned as Yami. "I'm starting to really hate bugs", she commented, before looking back at Yami's hand. Eclipse was there, but not her card.

"At this point, I agree Shadow.." Yami muttered for only her to hear. 'Ugh, Weevil turned this match around once more-- but I'm not giving up!' The insect Duelist cackling which was really getting on Yami's nerves. "Heheheheheh! So, Yugi, feeling outclassed yet?! Or perhaps you're enjoying your first major-league dueling loss! Heeheeheeheeh!"

"Hm. You may have gotten your prized monster onto the field, Weevil, but I'll still find a way to squash that oversized bug!" Yami vowed.
"Ha! You'll pay for that stinging jab, with your lifepoints!!" Weevil sneered. Yami drew his card, placed a card facedown in the spell and trap zone. Before accepting Weevil's challenge. With Weevil's Great Moth rise aloft and squares off against Curse of Dragon, who screams a challenge. 'Heh. Yugi's dragon is no match for my Great Moth, and none of his land monsters have the ability to attack me in the air! Heheh! But which puny creature should I obliterate first!' Weevil thought to himself. "I think it's high time I pay back your Knight, for demolishing my Cocoon!"

'My Knight! He's the heart of my attack force! There's no way I can afford to lose him!' Yami was in shock. He had to remain cool though. He had a counter strike waiting but he needed Weevil to fall for it. "Not if I can help it, Weevil!" The Spirit said.
"But that's just it, you can't help it! Moth! Hurricane attack!" Weevil declares as Yami's defence monster is destroyed. Yami smirked then. "You triggered my trap Weevil!" Saying cooly. Weevil looked horrified. "W-What?"

"You should have figured that I would have a back up should my defense fail. I play the Trap Eclipse. This card can only be triggered when I have a monster in defense mode that is destroyed. After that I can then Special Summon the monster Dark Djinn (ATK:2800-DEF:2000) of whom place in attack mode." Yami explained as he pulled her card from the deck and placed her card in the Monster Zone in attack mode. He shuffles his deck as he looks to Weevil whom is freaking out by Djinn's attack and defense points make a jump by 200 points making it ATK:3000-DEF:2200. "She also gains a power boost due to the Traps effect.

Jaden rose his fist in the air as he whooped and Joey grinned big and cackled. "Heck ya! Thats what im talking about!" Joey whooped. Yubel smiled, seeing her friend on the field. Yugi drew his card when Weevil could do no more. "Now, I use the Spell card Polymerization. This card allows me to use monsters to fuse together and I will use it on Curse of Dragon and Gaia the Fierce Knight to summon, Gaia the Dragon Champion(ATK:2600-DEF:2100)." Gaia the Knight's new steed is Curse of Dragon, and together Yami's two monsters are rising to a level opposite the Great Moth in the pollen-filled air.

"I'm not some beginner, I know what fusion does!" Weevil retorted.
"Then you must know it increases my attack points. My fused Dragon-Knight combo is now powerful enough to go head-to-head with your Great Moth!"
"Hahahahahahahaha! I wouldn't be so sure about that! Look again!" Weevil pointed out.
Yami looked to his field to see what was happening as he saw the pollen filled air. "Huh...? No...!" He breathed out as he watches his dragon-mounted knight and Dark Djinn are losing points little by little. "My knight. Djinn! Their losing points. And fast. But how? And why?"

Weevil gave out a sinister cackle. "Heheheheh. It's poison, Yugi. Poison particles from my Great Moth. Each time it uses its Hurricane attack, it releases tons of these tiny toxic particles-- and your precious dragon-knight combo and your little Djinn is being poisoned by their deadly touch! Ahahahahahaha!"

Gaia's attack now to 2000 and still going, Djinn being effected the same way. 'My Knight and Djinn are losing points with each passing second! But how do I protect them against the very air itself?!'

As soon as she was drawn, the Shadow Genie rose herself up from the surface of the hologram board, showing up in her full color. She, once again, had her arms crossed in a meditative state with her eyes closed. Her gaze sharp as it looked to the Great Moth before her. As much as she valued Yami in being able to special summon her had been a blessing, but the duel itself was starting to become even more challenging every time Weevil has a surprise in store. This time, it was the pollenized-air that the Moth was able to spread after it made its Hurricane.

As a result, Dark Djinn found herself engulfed in the air. Shadow's transparent spirit growled from behind Yami. 'He is so gonna gush when I step on him. Like a bug', she said, already becoming frustrated by Weevil's little tricks. 'Yami, I promise that you will find a way to beat him. It may not be there now, but trust me, I know you will. For Yugi's grandfather', she encouraged him, just as her Monster form fell to one knee, because of her fading power levels from the poison.

Weevil looked smug. "Looks to me like my poison particles are taking their toll, Yugi!" Yami looks to his cards once again and feels an idea coming to mind and pulls out a card and then plays it. "Then let the rain fall with Makiu, the Magical Mist!" He announces as he plays the spell and mist falls and starts to clear the poison and cover the monsters in misty water. Weevil is flabbergasted. "M-My poison! No!" With that though, Yami ends his turn for he cannot do anything else."That's right; Magical Mist washes the field clean."
"No fair! I was about to win and you save yourself with a little drizzle?!" Weevil draws and sneers with glee. "All right, then you may've stopped my poison attack. But I promise you've only won a brief reprieve! Because my next move is one you won't be able to think your way out of! Brace yourself for my ultimate insect's ultimate attack! Great Moth! Tornado of Doom!" The red "eye" on Weevil's Moth glints, and energy gathers between its thorax and legs. Yugi stops smiling and starts to look worried as the power grows, and is fired right at Djinn, but Yami planned different. "You triggered my next trap! Negate Attack! A whirl of wind appeared before Djinn as the attack is stopped and having dissipated. It forced Weevil to end is turn of which let Yami draw his card.

Yami smiled as Djinn and Gaia had their attack points back, meaning Weevil was doomed. With nothing spell or trap to protect his moth. Yami begins to laugh a out loud. Weevil is unsettled by it. "Hey, hey! What are you so happy about?!" Yami settles his laugh and looks to Weevil with calm, cool, yet cold eyes. "Weevil, I know it will be very difficult for you to accept losing a duel...Especially after spending so much time finding inventive ways to cheat! But if you thought bending the rules would help you in this match, you're wrong. You play dishonestly, so you expect the same of your opponents; but I duel with honor, Weevil and that makes all the difference!" The Spirit explained, his eyes showing a little more crimson than the Amethyst that was Yugi's color. He hated cheaters and had to show them that cheating gets you no where but down a dark and unforgiving path. This, Yami was going to show him in hopes he changes his ways.

"Thus must be a trick. You've got nothing!!!" Weevil screeched.
"This is where you are wrong once again. My Mist spell is still dampening this field. Look for yourself." Yami tells him. Weevil and Mai both gasp. Yugi's right; the mist still blankets the ground, and now and then a condensed droplet falls to the ground from Great Moth's wings. "Gaia the Dragon Champion, attack his dampened Moth." Yugi commands. Gaia swoops down and takes out himself and the moth, leaving his field wide open. "Now to finish this, your moth is gone and you have nothing else to defend you. Now Dark Djinn, take out the last of his life points!"

"No! Impossible! My Moth's unbeatable!" Weevil's life points go to zero when Djinn unleashes her attack, falls over stupefied.

Yami's eyes were back to normal as the platform lowers after he gains his cards and his star chips. Going to Weevil's platform, he takes the two star chips as Weevil is left there bawling about his title as Yugi now is inherited with it for beating Weevil. Mai stands there with her mouth open for a moment then recovers, grudgingly impressed. "...Impressive. I didn't think Yugi could ever beat Weevil.

Jaden and the others run up to Yugi as Joey takes Weevils gauntlet, now being able to put his one star chip on. "That was amazing!" Jaden whooped as he wrapped an arm around Yugi's shoulder causing the Spirit to stumble a little but catch his balance. Within, Yugi was happy, estatic that they won. "You so rocked that Duel Yug'!" Jaden praised. Yubel looked to Shadow and smiled, withing her a nod. "Congrats on beating a regional Champion." Yubel says to Shadow and Yugi. Yugi is soon himself again and the Spirit residing quietly within the Puzzle as Yugi looks back at his glove. "Seven more to go...."

Dark Djinn felt the pollen be lifted off of her and, as a result, felt her strength come right back to her, right after Yami found a way to give said-strength back to her. 'Alright, Yami. Let's finish this, together', she encouraged the spirit, before he began to explain that cheaters would never win nor will they do it with honor. In complete honesty, she agreed with every word he said. On another note, she first learned about honor by Divine. Unfortunately, because of her jealousy, Shadow had misheard, having to become a genie behind her back, and not tell her anything about her involvement. As a result, since her sister's death, Shadow regretted it, since it was a price she had to pay for her mistake.

She would make it up to her, once again; the right way: By saving her from the hands of Pegasus. The crimson in Yami's eyes became a mix of the spirit and Shadow altogether. Because of her newfound agreement to his explanation, she joined him in the bond, even when he declared Dark Djinn to finish Weevil, once and for all. Said-Duel Monster then transformed into a smokey apparition with glowing red eyes, and dashed towards Weevil, hitting him with a very strong force that almost blew him off the platform, before fading away completely, since Yami won.

Shadow then went back into her transparent form, as soon as Yugi came to the forefront, having to smile proudly at him. She lightly blushed at Yubel's compliment. 'I just couldn't stand him; a cheater. He was getting on my nerves', she gestured to the sobbing Duelist behind her and Yugi. Overall, she knew that the spirit of the puzzle could do it. She could only feel good about their teamwork in being able to gain their victory, as well as teach Weevil a lesson.

Yubel honestly thought it was cute seeing the genie blush as she did at his comment. She couldnt help but giggle at the sight. Jaden glanced to his protector with a amused look then to Yugi again. They were on their merry way for the next duel be it from Yugi, Jaden or Joey.

Managing to walk out the forest and into a nice clearing, Joey feels nothing but optimistic about an upcoming duel. He punches his own hand with a grin. "Okay, bring 'em on! I'm itchin' to duel and I'm takin' on the next player we see!" He suddenly jogged ahead to a cliff, seeing the ocean with the wind going through his long blonde hair, and blowing at his clothes as he felt the cool air. It was a nice air as the sun was shining bright. Within that time, Joey seemed to be reminiscing to the point he seemed almost unreachable for a moment or two. Yugi saw it and glanced to Shadow.

"Y'know, I'm not so sure Joey's up to this." Tea pointed out as Jaden looked a little confused from the look he was making. "Yeah, there are tournament-level players here. But don't you think he's smart enough to realize..." Tristen said next as he drawled off to look at Joey who looked to his friends and waved to them, grandstanding. "Here I stand, the next Duel Monsters champion!" Wheeler announced. All groaned, Jaden and Yugi shook their heads. "He needs a reality check." Tea pointed out with a nod in agreement. Joey seemed to be back in his own little world, looking back to the sea as seagulls cry overhead against the shining white clouds, as Joey stands there lost in thought. As he's stood there, Yugi, Tristan, and Téa have caught up, and all of them are having a quiet moment. Jaden is the first to hear the noise, and points it out to the others. "Hey! Look over there!"

The others look where he's looking, and see duel arenas where three of them are visible, spaced across the landscape and the tournament is in full swing. "Duel Monsters stadiums! Look at 'em, they're all over!" Jaden bounces with excitement, Yubel just giggles at the scene before her of her young friend being excited about the simplest of things. Yugi was excited too but not as sky rocketed as Jaden was. He was amazed to see it. "You said it! Lots of dueling going on!"

Joey looked to the Dueling arenas to see them all and took a deep breath and seemed to have steeled himself. "Right! Im goin' in!" "You sure you wanna do this? If you lose, you give up your only star chip." Tristen warned, making sure his friend was completely ready for this. Joey's confidence evaporates, and he crouches into almost a futile position. "Gahhh...!" He whines, knowing he can't and that his friends were right. Yugi went over and rested a hand on his shoulder. "Don't panic. You can do this, Joey. You do know that, don't you?" Yugi asked, trying to give him confidence. Joey looked to his best friend with slight defeat. "I hope you're right, Yugi. This'll be my first official duel, and I can't afford to get knocked out at the start!" He told Yugi of whom walked in front of him and crouched to be as face to face with him as best as possible. "True, but not everyone here is a pro. I'm sure you can find someone on your level." Yugi assured.
Joey seemed to feel a little better and smiled, looking at his cards. "An', I guess I should think about which field my cards're best suited for. They're mostly monsters and fighter-types. I guess that makes this meadow region my kinda turf!" Feeling more confident and willing to Duel.
Jaden clapped a hand on his shoulder. "Atta boy!" "That's right, Joey. See? You know what you're doin'!" Yugi beamed. Just then they coud over hear.... "You lost crybaby, now give me your star chips!" The group looked around. Tea looked miffed. "A voice that annoying could only belong to...Mai!"

Indeed, Mai is standing over by a meadow arena with a big 10 on the side, gloating over her victory. Her opponent is upset. "It's not fair, you cheated somehow! How could you know what your cards were when they were still facedown!" Her former opponent accused. Mai looked coolly at the kid. "I'm psychic. And you're," as she winks to the kid "done." The opponent walks away, crying into his sleeve. Mai laughs out loud then gasps, spotting Yugi's group. Jaden looks sad for the kid who dueled Mai then looked back to Mai. "Well. Look who's here!" She greets them. Joey looks at Mai's gauntlet with awe. "Wow. Mai's already won two more star chips."

Mai's eyes glint, she has a nasty plan while she looks to Yugi. Then she turns fake-friendly. "Hey, Yugi! Are your duels going well?" She asks, its hard to tell if she is faking for she is pulling the friendly behavior like a pro. Tea is giving Mai the evil eye. Yugi answers with calm reserve. "I'm making progress." Mai makes her way as she picks up Yugi's gloved hand and looks at the stars. Tea glares even harder. "Take her!"
Yugi looks suddenly confused and slightly panicked. "Huh?!"
"Knock her out of the contest and off the island!" Tea insists. Yugi doesn't really know what to do. He glances to Shadow for help. Mai smiles."Mmm! You know, I'm definitely in the mood for a duel right now! So get ready, because I choose to challenge... you, Joey!" Mai suddenly was serious as she points to the tall blonde. He now looks a little panicked and flustered. "M-M-Me?!"
Mai nods. "Do you have the guts to accept?"

Shadow smiled at her master, still feeling proud of their victory to defeat someone as conniving as Weevil. It lifted something off their shoulders, in a way where they managed to catch the culprit and bring him to justice. She was only glad that she could finish him off, and hope that he will leave Yugi alone for the time being. In her transparent duel monster form, with her arms crossed, she remained almost flabbergasted at the way she watched her owner's friend get so wrapped up in his own determination. A part of her said that Joey was the foolish-type, almost the underdog of the group. But another part says that he could be smarter than how he lets on, considering that he was Yugi's best friend.

She couldn't judge; she would never. Having to be Yugi's newfound friend, she would never judge someone just by how they behaved. She was respectful in her nature, but as a shadow, there was another part of her that said that she wasn't. She didn't want to be "bad", like how every shadow was. She was gonna be good, behaviorally; like a good genie. For Yugi and for everyone that he knew. She couldn't let the negative (jealousy, anger, pain, etc.) consume her and make her do something that she would regret.

So, for Mai to show up, she had to keep herself under control; restrained. Looking at Yugi for a second, she passively closed her red eyes. 'Take her', she simply responded, before fading away, back into the Millenium Puzzle, where she sat in that dark space where she would initially go. It was just dark, where the shadows will wail and shriek. On the ground, she sat alone. It was better in the puzzle to keep herself at a good distance away from the source that was making her feel what she was supposed to feel, as a shadow: jealousy. She pulled her legs up to her chest, just letting her solitude shroud her.
