I realize we need to move the RP forward and get on with the larger quest at hand, and hopefully I'm not speaking out of turn here @Thinslayer, but be mindful when you are attacking another character or even NPC. You can't assume right away that your attacks or magic immediately affects them, as this is considered godmodding and doesn't give the opponent time to deflect or counter in any way.

So long as Thin is alright with it, we'll move forward and get this damn thing underway! :)

As a very one-off kind of thing, It's hard to dodge something you can't see. Like spirits (despite the fact that you can see it this time). I'd understand dodging simple magic ropes like the Storyteller's, but I'd say that the spell that Zenovia cast is very hard to dodge. Of course, repercussions are in-bound on my next post, whenever that may be.

Problem is, they are snakes, and are visible. Either way, you can't just assume that your attack connects and inflicts whatever damage or status effect. :P Just making you aware for the future, since this will not be the first fight we have.

Edit: Just reread your post. They are spirits, derp derp. Haha.

Some creatures can sense spirits, however. Just a heads up :)

Joining an RP that's already started is often dicey business because you have to get caught up before you can really begin. If you've read all 7 pages of the story and know exactly how and where you want to start, I'll definitely consider a new character application.

True, true. But we also spent a lot of time developing the lore required to make the RP run. New players should be intimately familiar with it before starting.
